We looked at several companies to service our heat pumps and Midcoast Heatpump Cleaning is the best option, by far. Many of the other companies changed very high fees. Luke was very easy to work with, upfront with his pricing, and does the work himself. I highly recommend him.

Our GE Heatpump was damaged by rodents nesting in the outdoor unit during the coldest part of winter here in Downeast Maine. Horrible customer service! Incredibly rude, disrespectful and they totally scammed me. Now I can’t change the temperature of my thermostat! They don’t care about my business.

Avoid this place at all cost! Unwilling to take responsibility for there wrong doings and not doing anything to make it right even after it was there wrong doing that caused a fire. Be aware everyone.

I highly recommend using HVAC. The Owner Rob Mitchell is a high quality minded person that goes out of his way to make sure he keeps his promises. I own a local business and he has supported me for years now.

These guys are terrible. They have delayed fixing our heating furnance at our manufacturing space for a few weeks now. They keep showing up without the right tools or parts, even though they've been by multiple times now and should know what to bring. Today they said they couldn't bring the lift they needed yesterday because there was too much snow....even though it didn't start snowing until last night, and we all know they weren't working at night. They hardly work during the day.
Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Had an emergency call on Friday. They did an awesome job getting the hood back running. Called at 9am, told them we had to leave for a catering gig by 11:30 at the lastest. The were on scene at 9:45 and fixed by 11am. Very helpful and polite too. I have used them for HVAC work and the hoods for the restaurant. Great Company!

As a commercial building owner in Portland I have been using HVAC Services for nearly 25 years. They are reliable, fair, conscientious and have well trained employees. The owner Rob Mitchell makes himself readily available when I have any questions or look to his expertise for solutions.

Terrible customer service. They don't take responsibility for any issue they cause or happens with the equipment they sell. They won't help correct problems without a battle and lots of finger pointing. The entire tone of a business is set by the leadership. Their CEO, is an arrogant know it all, self righteous, smart's guy in the room type. He is the most smug individual I have ever met in business. His attitude and style of managing a business also effects the business internally. They struggle to get and retain employees because of him.

We built a new house and had several issues once the systems were turned on. Snow melt system, and wine cooler in particular. Wine cooler took over 3 months to correct. Snow melt took over a month to correct. Plus his design for the equipment install had too much equipment in one of the mechanical rooms cause excessive heat issues in that area of the house.

They overall install of equipment was inferior workmanship, many of the ducts weren't taped. Air handlers were installed not level. Wine cooler unit was installed so that you couldn't access the service panel or see the manufactures label with the model and serial number. Just a going through the motion type install.

This is a nightmare of a company to deal with. You will regret dealing with them. If you sit and talk to them about your house project, all this guy wants to do is impress you with this knowledge of dew points and crap you don't care about.

I am incredibly impressed with this company . So kind and extremely competent . Colby and Madison go the extra mile and are very knowledgeable .

Always there heating, came out and serviced and tuned my furnace. I can’t say enough about how awesome the service was. They were able to fit me into their schedule in a timely manner, and were able to service and tune an older furnace I have in my garage where others could not. Thank you again for your prompt service and amazing customer service. A locally owned small business that really knows how to shine. If you need heating or cooling services don’t hesitate give them a call you won’t be disappointed.

We had our monitor heater serviced by Always There Heating and everything about the experience was top notch. Service, promptness, communication, personality, knowledge, pricing. It was all excellent. I wish every contractor and service were like this. 10 out of 10.

Did a great job at a good price. I would highly recommend. Good people to work with, answered all our questions and were easy to work with.

Christian was prompt and courteous. He corrected the remote setting to take care of the over heating issue and cleaned both units. He explained the efficient use of the heat pumps. I would have scored a 5, but that he had to leave for 20 minutes or so to recover a tool or something that he forgot to bring.
