Drake Mechanical is our go to service for our plumbing needs. The service technician, John ensures we understand what is needed and why. He is very knowledgeable and professional. A big plus in this day and age!

I had an owner caused gas leaked that required a qualified plumber repair. I called Drake Mechanical late afternoon and was given an appointment the next morning. Our gas had been turned off by the gas company and was flagged for a whole home pressure test. The technician came out and quickly fixed the leak. However, the pressure test was witnessed by a tech from Intermountain Gas later in the morning. The test failed and Braliio spent the rest of the day in the crawl space and attics testing for leaks. No leaks were found, multiple retests were run with differing results. After much discussions the gas company, the two Drake employees convinced the gas company tech that the test was unrealistic stringent (test was at 80 times the normal operating) and allowed for no loss of pressure in 20 minutes. Many factors were reviewed like very cold temperatures, 40 mile/hour winds, and no Lab quality instruments were used to validate a loss. The experience and fortitude by Braulio and John finally convinced the inspector that there was no leak and the gas was turned back on after two days. I definitely would recommend Drake Mechanical for all plumbing needs.

2025 Update
I manage up to 700 property closings per year and I use Drake Mechanical on all the homes that need HVAC or Plumbing and they always do a fantastic job for me.

I have used Drake Mechanical for years and they have been amazing. Recently my young daughter had an issue with her water heater. The people she called from the number on the water heater said they would charge her $250.00 just to come out! I called Drake Mechanical and they came right out for half of that! On a Sunday the plumber came out and got her taken care of. It was such a relief to know that my daughter and her young kids had hot water. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great service and kind people.

Drake helped us with the install of a downdraft range. The project is somewhat rare and ended up being more difficult than anticipated. Their phone reps helped with 3 reschedulings and the technicians went above and beyond when the job got difficult along with sticking to the estimated price.

I had Drake replace my 40+ year old toilet. The tech's were on time, clean, friendly and efficient. They also explained what they were doing. I highly recommend Drake mechanical for your plumbing needs.

I can't speak highly enough about Nick Drake and all his staff! They went out of their way to make sure our air conditioner was up and running for the renters. Drake Mechanical was out this month for 3 separate repairs / upgrades at my home. John was professional, on-time, and very communicative when finding each issue and explained my options clearly. I did not feel pressured to be home during the repairs, was not continuously contacted for no real reason, nor was I upsold, which are very important to me as a homeowner with a full time job. Being able to trust Drake Mechanical to do what they say and for the price they quoted has made calling them for my plumbing and heating needs a no-brainer!

Bryce was our technician today. He performed a very thorough job on the initial inspection and service needs of our heater and air conditioner. Further, he spent time adjusting settings on the thermostat to optimize performance of this equipment. Great attitude and great work - Drake will be back!

Turns out, Drake was back in November when our family woke up to no heating. Thankfully, Ben was the on call technician. As expected, he did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, made needed part replacements. Drake's service is superb - highly recommend this company for all heating and cooling needs!

Drake Mechanical is our go to place when things go wrong. Today they were out to do some minor repairs found during our semi annual HVAC system check. In addition we have had them help with toilet replacement/repair, sink installation, furnace filters, etc. The people on the phone and in person are always polite and helpful.
