Dave is great! Available, timely, and friendly. Very reasonable rate and good memory on past issues (checked in about last job he did when he came for another). First time we used Dave he determined that we had a blockage on the city's side, and he helped us contact the city and get them to pay for it. His rate is much more reasonable than the big box places and charges a flat rate rather than hourly. Highly recommend!

Great job clearing my shower drain. Came out same day, price was reasonable and he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. No upsell, transparent flat rate price and got the job done. Great to answer my questions an offer advice to prevent clogs in the future and enhance my hot water delivery. Don't hesitate to hire him!

Having had Dave as my plumbing specialist for over seven years I am very happy and eager to recommend him and his business Dave's Drain Service! An under-counter sewage/waste water ejector in my daylight basement apartment had died and was overflowing so I called Dave. Instead of making an appointment to come over and fix the issue at weekend emergency rates, Dave walked me through a fix that within minutes had everything working perfectly and gave me instructions as to how to prevent future issues. In a perfect world I would like to think that any other plumber would have done the same foregoing an easy and considerable service charge, but in my experience that just isn't so. Dave is fair, honest, knowledgeable and THE ONE TO CALL!

My husband and I love Dave's Drain Service. We needed a new water heater, and when we called, they were very responsive, got out to our home right away, and were able to get the new water heater and do the installation immediately. They worked with us on pricing, and were very reasonable. This was the second time we had used them, and each time was a great experience!! We will definitely use them in the future with any other plumbing issues, and we highly recommend them.

Dave is very knowledgeable with drains and plumbing. He was straight forward and did not up sell me. He actually just charged me for an inspection instead of the service I called him for because he said everything looked great and didn't want to waste my money. He will be the first person I call with any plumbing or drain issues because I know he knows his stuff and is very communicative of what I actually need.

Dave was fantastic. Called him one evening for a slow draining tub and he was there the next morning and quickly got it sorted out at a very fair price. We just bought our home, while he was there he did a very thorough inspection and it was obvious he knew the ins and outs of a variety of plumbing challenges and how to address them. Dave's Drain Service was recommended to me by a neighbor when I had an issue with my sewer backing up. I thought I knew what needed to be done to fix this and asked three different plumbers for an estimate. Dave was one of the lowest, but he was the only one to also include in his estimate to fully investigate the lines and make sure the issue was where I thought it was. It turned out there was a larger problem and Dave's ultimate repair took care of all of this for a very reasonable price. Dave and his son are plumbers who want to make sure they take care of whatever the problem is, not just to make a quick buck by rooting out a clog only to have the problem re-occur over and over. Thanks for very good service at a fair price.

Goodson Plumbing is FANTASTIC! I cannot say enough good things about them! The whole team was amazing! Ian was always so kind, honest, patient and made sure all my questions were answered. Our home had a lot of plumbing issues and he caught mistakes that other professionals had missed! He is truly an expert in his field! His team, Al and Josh, were equally as wonderful and did amazing work! If you have any plumbing needs, you need to call them! It is so rare to find such an incredible company that does such wonderful work, and also has great customer service! Call them!

I’m a contractor. I used Goodson on a commercial job. They installed 4 bathtubs, water heater and a washing machine box/drain for a dog grooming business. These guys did quality work at an affordable price.

Goodson Plumbing was excellent. We needed the old polybutylene pipes in our house replaced and they did a great job with it for what I feel was a fair price. They were even careful to be minimally invasive with the cuts in the drywall they needed to make and were considerate enough to cut it in a way that I could pretty much just screw it back into the wall to repair it when they were done. I would definitely recommend them for any projects small or large.

Goodson plumbing is unmatchable in their service, professionalism, kindness and trustworthiness! We have tried so many plumbers in the Boise area and have been burned by so many companies (it seems most plumbing companies just try to create “issues” so they can run up the bill). Goodson is so, so different and so, so good. They have straightforward pricing and they are honest. They get the job done, well, no matter what it takes. I will not use anyone other than Goodson plumbing ever again.

On time, brought all of the right toys to replace a 70 year old shut off valve in a tight spot. Will call on again for future projects.
