The installation crew was on time and professional. They did an excellent job. I had many questions and they took time to answer them all. I did a lot of research on HVAC systems and the most important part of the system is the installation. If it is not done right you will have problems. These guys did it right. I watched them work through out the day and I was impressed. I highly recommend them.

We recently had our AC unit go out on us. Jason was the one who came out to help and figured out the problem and got it fixed fast and easy! He was amazing and very professional. Thank you for going above and beyond!

We could not be happier. As general contractors for the home we are building, my wife and I have been disappointed by many of the subcontractors we have engaged. This includes the first HVAC sub we hired, who started the job but refused to complete it unless we agreed to a huge price increase over bid. We were then fortunate enough to be referred to Butler Heating and Air. We could not be happier with the job Butler has done. Butler offered a fair price to complete the job. Their staff communicated clearly by phone. They showed up when they said they would. Augie and Chilo, who installed our dual-fuel HVAC system, did so politely, efficiently and professionally. Completely knowledgeable and efficient company! The owner checked out our AC unit first thing in the morning and had it fixed and working 10 times better than it was. Even got us extra filters because ours is a weird size for replacement in the future. Awesome company and owners!

Our central air wouldn't cool below 81. I called first thing Monday morning and they sent Scott, very nice and professional. We had had this unit 19 years and they serviced it 2 times in 4 years. Each time needed freon. So Scott told me how much it would cost and a new unit could be installed the very next day. So Tuesday morning Agi, Rocky and Chilo arrived and had us up and running in 4.5 hours. They were amazing. Courtious, polite, professional and thoughtful. Made sure our wood floors were covered then vacuumed and cleaned up everything. I will highly recommend them. You all are awesome! Thank you.

Butler has been my choice for annual Spring and Fall HVAC system checks and tune-ups for several years. They have also been very responsive whenever there has been a problem with the system that required special service. I have "fired" two other local HVAC providers for over-charging on service, but Butler has demonstrated that they are transparent in charging for service and products.

They were AMAZING. Had them come out for a second opinion and discovered that I was being duped by another HVAC company. My furnace was fine and if it actually DID need the repairs that the other company said I needed they would've been 1/3 the cost through Butler than what I was quoted by the other guys. I will refer everyone I know to Butler! Honest, prompt, and they explain things so you understand what they are talking about.

Butler Heating & Air came to my rescue in Jan. of 2006 when the furnace in my house died 36 hours after I moved in. The service is terrific & all the techs who have come to service my HVAC system have taken time to explain everything to me. I have the service agreement for a twice a year inspection of the equipment. I'm selling the house & found it sad to say goodbye to Scott who has always treated me with respect & great kindness. As a matter of fact, everyone working for Butler has been a joy to do business with.

Always impressed with the professionalism on the phone in addition to the professionalism shown at my home. Scott has been coming to my home for over 10 yrs now and he's always been helpful, polite, and caring. Thank you Butler Heating & Air for always taking such great care of me!!!!

Heater went out this morning tech arrived by noon with a little finesse he got my 20 year old unit running. He was punctual, honest, and quality of work was through the roof. This is the third time I've had the pleasure of working with them and I will be using Butler to install a new unit this spring.

These guys are always prompt, nice, and do great work! We use them at my work (Broadway Veterinary Hospital) for our quarterly service as well as they just replaced one of our AC units. The AC is working great and the down time without AC was only a couple hours during installation which was super important because it was the unit for our treatment area where all of our in-house patients are kept. Installation was so short that neither staff nor patients noticed. We would always recommend these guys!!

I had a gas line that was needed to be put in for a new build and had gotten 3 companies quotes, Butler was one of them and when I was presented with the quote they were literally 2.5 times higher than the other 2 quotes, I asked them about the huge difference and they told me that it was a 2-3 person job for a day and a half. Well.... I just had it installed by another company and it was one person for 3 hours. I feel this was not an honest estimate as they know it was not even close to the amount of work needed. It would have cost me a few thousand dollars if I didn't know better. At any rate I know they do good work but honesty and trust is more important so have to report this. Hope it saves someone from getting gouged.

Wonderful company! Great quality work and responsive to any questions I have had! Finding a good HVAC company can feel overwhelming, but Jayme and his team are outstanding and will be honest and upfront with you about the work and the pricing! They took care of my mother's furnace and went above and beyond to make sure it was done correctly!

I've used Butler for both heating and air conditioning issues. Each time their response time has been awesome. They've been able to diagnose the problems and fix it immediately. I've got an older system and even though I should upgrade, Butler keeps things running without pressuring me to buy new equipment. I highly recommend Butler. Their staff is top notch!

So, here's a NEW review!

On a recent Friday night in June, I walked into my house and it felt like a sauna! After trying to figure things out, I called Butler Heating & AC at 9:38pm. The owner answered promptly, listened to my issue and promised to have a technician there first thing Saturday morning.

Indeed, Sean (or Shawn?) was there bright & early and was awesome! After exploring all possible issues/solutions, the reality was I needed a new unit. Of course, this is the Saturday it hit 102 degrees in Boise! Thank goodness for basements in 98 year old North End Homes-I survived!

An entire team was at my door first thing Monday morning, installed the new unit and ensured all was well! As I said before, Butler is that small business that really puts their customers first, provide exemplary customer service, are efficient, professional and kind.

Not sure I can expect anything more! Give them a call! Thanks guys!

After purchasing my house in 2013, I called Butler 2 or 3 times for basic routine maintenance. (Being new to the area, I knew nothing about Butler - I just called the number on the sticker on my furnace, which was 17+ years old!)

The bottom line is I could not be happier with a service provider! They are AMAZING! Everyone I've come in contact with are committed to their company and their customers, are caring, responsive and professional. Shawna in the Office has always been prompt, friendly, efficient and professional-just a DELIGHT! (Answers the phone late in the evening!)

Scott has been to my house several times and always provides wonderful service.He remembers me, my house and is incredibly thorough, polite, friendly and makes things easy!

Fast forward to January, 2019....I called on a Monday because my furnace was acting up. Scott was there Tuesday morning and let me know what would be needed to get it up to speed. After talking through things, I came to the decision it was time to replace the entire furnace. Scott didn't try to "sell" me on anything. He did, however, talk me through options and let me make my decision. By Thursday, I had a brand new furnace installed-the house was left immaculately clean-you couldn't tell anyone had been there! They completed the warranty paperwork for me-again, making it EASY!

Go with Butler-you will not be disappointed!

Rocky was absolutely amazing! This professional went above and beyond to help me understand what the problem is, and the best ways to get it resolved. In addition, he gained access to the home, with permission, knowing there was a dog in the house without fear. He gave my pup a treat to establish a bond before proceeding to the final tasks of his assignment. His diagnostic of the issue is 100% accurate and completed this task within thirty minutes.

Butler Heating and Air was timely, professional and tidy. We had Augustine out to change the range hood over our stove (see photo) from the silver stainless steel hood to the black stainless steel hood we purchased.
