My heater, all of a sudden, started blowing cool air. Then, stopped running. I called J&D, per a friend’s recommendation. Matt and Jens came. Friendly and professional. They explained the problem, what needed to be done and the cost. They made sure I understood everything. They got my heater working again. Great guys! Great job! Thank you so much.

We have been renovating an older home in Boise for the last year and a half. As you can imagine, many things that shouldn't have passed inspection have now failed. J&D has replaced our AC, furnace, and water heater. Their technicians, starting with Kenny Woodall, have all been friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. I don't think their prices are bargain basement, but they are fair for the quality of the equipment and service we have received.

In particular, we always request Kenny. He is not only knowledgeable, but thorough and above all he’s a nice guy, someone you’d like to talk to for a long time. He gives an honest opinion and doesn’t try to oversell. We feel in good hands. We got a three-year plan and filters.

Excellent work!!! Very informative and knowledgeable. Told me what to expect and offered to fix my issue which was nothing major. I think his name was Ryan. Came I completed the job and was down in a timely fashion. I recommend j&d for your furnace service!!!!

Ryan Silva was amazing! He quickly assessed everything and had our unit up and running in no time. Ryan was a helpful educator so I felt more comfortable and knowledgeable about my system. I look forward to having him as my HVAC representative for many seasons to come.

I had to get new exhaust vent pipe for my furnace and water heater for a house inspection. Same day quote, ducting was installed the next morning. Cody was prompt, courteous and new his job well. He even cleaned the dust out of the furnace and cleaned everything up nicely. I am very happy to find a local business to support. Two thumbs up.

Matt was so friendly and transparent, and I felt very comfortable with him sharing not only what was going on with my heating system, but what I could do in the future.
I had absolutely no confusion about my heating system and the care for it and what to do in the future.
And when he left, he asked me, in the middle of all my home improvement chaos, if there was anything he could do to help. I am really grateful for him and his service and look forward to a meeting with him again.

We just bought our house, and it still has the original HVAC system from 2006. While the old system cooled and heated the house with no issues, I knew it would be beneficial to upgrade to a modern system for heating/cooling efficiency. I did my homework and went with J&D Heating Cooling & Water, and the results were what I expected. They installed an American Standard Silver Series 96% efficiency heater and the American Standard Silver Series AC condenser. American Standard is a top-of-the-line system that will save energy and last for many years with the utmost reliability. The installation crew arrived on time and were total professionals at their job. I couldn't be happier and would recommend J&D to anyone looking for a new HVAC system or for repairs to an existing system... :-)

J&D heating a cooling were prompt to respond to my call with service technicians Jens and Matt arriving within the hour. Evaluation of the issue, per my request to replace the water heater, completed and components identified and ordered with old equipment removed. New equipment was staged for installation by Kane. All techs were pleasant, professional, and a pleasure to meet. Kane, like me, is a perfectionist and did an amazing job.

I had an hvac system installed and a hot water heater excellent service had the j and j team good job guys!

Turned out to be a challenging install. Cody and Eyan stayed at it and came back to finish. I think they learned a bit on this one but they were incredibly respectful and made sure all was good.

Everything I could ask for in a contractor. Respectful, clean and honest. Not going anywhere else

I am extremely happy with my service today! Ryne was the technician that serviced my furnace, ac unit, and hot water heater. He did an excellent job! Excellent manners, answers, recommendations, etc.. I will be using, and referring others to your business from now on. Very few businesses perform this way anymore. 5 stars from me!

$29 furnace check,also offered water heater flush but i had to leave to work.

This company is absolutely amazing. Everyone that came to my house was very professional they got everything done in a timely manner. They were absolutely freaking amazing. I had several technicians in my house. I recommend this company 1000%. Every single person that I had in my house from this company took the time to explain how everything worked and answered all of my questions. All together I had six technicians in my house over the course of 4 days and they were absolutely amazing. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite amazing and knew what they were talking about.

UPDATE: So unfortunately the thermostat that was put in with my new furnace was really hard to figure out and I absolutely hated it. I called and literally within 24 hours they came and changed it out to one that I can actually use. Absolutely amazing company. Everyone that's been in my house is absolutely freaking amazing. This is definitely the company you need to work on your furnace and water heater and all of that because they are absolutely freaking amazing they are completely professional. Very very impressed.

So my new furnace has had a few more problems and I have had to have Kenneth come out and fix it three times. He has been absolutely amazing at keeping my furnace going. Kenneth needs a raise! He is professional and really good at what he does. I absolutely love this company.❤️

It was great to get an appointment within 2 days! The technician was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and made quick work of my minor issues. He did a thorough check of my AC system and gave a thorough cleaning to my condenser coils. He also let me know of a couple of issues to watch for. I will definitely be using Owyhee Heating and Air for all my future needs.

Called this morning to get a quote on a new furnace and ac unit. I was told the tech would be here at 11am no later. 12pm rolled around and I hadn't heard anything. So I gave them a call. I was told they tried to call me to reschedule. I have no missed calls or voice mails...

Too many HVAC companies in the Treasure Valley to give them a 2nd chance!

Robert was very thorough. He used booties to prevent bringing in dust and dirt from outside. He was very clear and concise in explaining things -- even taking pictures so I didn't have to climb the ladder into the attic. He made sure that the follow-up visit was scheduled at a convenient time for me, as well. He is a very nice, polite and knowledgeable young man.

Talon (the tech sent to my home) did fine, but I expected to have someone more trained in the trade than 3.5 months by the company. I suppose I could have sent him packing when I found out he's as young as he is and has not yet attended trade school, but he was already diving in at that point. I appreciated his attitude and professionalism, but would have preferred knowing I was not getting someone with more experience and training digging into my furnace. No harm, no foul, I guess, and I didn't pay much so I didn't overpay for what I got.

Scott gave us exceptional service today!! He is very friendly and professional. Scott is very knowledgable of the heating and air conditioning systems. As it turned out we needed four pounds of coolant added to our AC system. All the work was accomplished extremely well. Thank you Scott for doing a great job for us. I highly recommend Owyhee Heating and Air!
