Do not work with Sears Appliance Repair. They use an AI agent to process appointments and that agent will send the incorrect technician to resolve the requested issue even if the company does not provide the service. In our situation, we requested someone to inspect and service our dryer and ventilation duct. The technician they sent could not inspect the duct and no one in the company is able to do so.
The technician will refuse to connect you with anyone to remedy any problems that come up with the service and will refuse to leave until they collect payment for the service they did not provide. -
Unfortunately it matters which technician responds to your address. I was very fortunate for Monty. On time, prompt, very educated and professional. One of the best appliance experiences I've had.

Booked a technician to assess our dryer and dryer vent. According to the robotic booking system this was possible. The technician is only able to look at the dryer. We now owe $129 for a service that was only half of what we needed. We called customer service and they basically said too bad so sad we don’t work with vents that’s a different phone number. No offer to connect with the vent service or to put the service down payment toward the vent repair as our machine isn’t broken. I asked to speak to a manager, was told they can’t help either, was then connected and have been on hold for 20 minutes. If your robotic scheduled is going to lie about what a technician can do, please go back to using people. I asked to speak to representative when booking and it told me it would not connect me to a person. I personally will never use Sears again, and will advise all others not to as well.
Update: it has now been 30 minutes on hold and the technician won’t leave until we pay, but we have to pay through the bot on the phone that we can’t get through to. He also can’t get through to anyone. So I guess it sucks to be both a customer and an employee. -
Never realized how much I actually used my stove until half of it stopped working. Called and the repairman came out, assessed everything, and had it fully functional again without any unnecessary parts or added costs. Straightforward visit from someone who clearly knew what they were doing and didn't feel the need to prove it by talking the whole time.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The repairman showed up ahead of schedule, which already set the tone for how the whole visit went. He clearly knew his stuff, walked me through exactly what was wrong with the appliance and why, without making me feel like I was wasting his time with questions. I'd send him back to my house without a second thought.

After two other companies told us we'd need a full replacement, the appliance repairman actually took the time to properly diagnose it. A bad control board that totally fixable. He saved us from buying a new dishwasher we didn't need. That kind of honesty is worth a lot.

This is the only appliance repair company that called me back within the hour. The technician did an awesome job!

Called and got a bit of a run around from scheduling only to be told they don’t service dishwashers anymore? Update your website then because it says you service them more than any other appliance.

Terrible - booked an appointment on a Weds for a Saturday. No confirmation or anything and gave me an 8 hour window when tech "may" show up. Called on the Saturday to confirm and narrow down time frame and there was no technician available... Told me they may or may not come out that day. Move on to the next group

I was charged for a service call for a tenant but never received a receipt of payment nor feedback on the issue. I have been trying to call and the phone never gets answered by a person. It goes directly to hold with music then disconnects. Totally frustrated.

Louis was very quick to Diagnose the issue with my wine fridge.
He helped me get the part and get it replaced very quickly. HE answered all my questions and very detailed in telling me what the problem was on the fridge.
Fast, friendly and quick service. -
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! Customer Service is terrible and they do not show up. I am extremely disappointed with this company. I called in on a Wednesday evening and was able to book an appointment for Thursday morning to look at my dryer. I was told the appointment was confirmed between 8 - noon on Thursday. I gave them my phone number and address. At 1 pm on Thursday, nobody had arrived. I called the number again to see what had happened and was told that I should have received an email of confirmation. I did not receive any email because I was not asked for my email address. When they asked for my phone number to check their records, they had recorded the number incorrectly. They then told me that they did not have any technicians in my area and did not service my area even though I live in River North. They told me that because the phone number was wrong (which they had entered incorrectly the first time), they tried to call me and then ended up cancelling my appointment when I did not pick up (because they were calling the wrong number from entering it incorrectly in their system). I asked them where they are based out of and they said California and did not service Chicago. So my question is why are you calling yourself Premiere CHICAGO Appliance Repair if you do not service Chicago???? I called back and spoke to someone else and she started saying that COVID-19 was the excuse for nobody being able to help me. This is a complete cop-out as someone had already confirmed an appointment for me the day before.

I called two appliance repair services in Chicago before I was able to get a hold of one that offers same-day appointments. Thankfully, these guys had a repairman already near my neighborhood and he arrived at my home in less than an hour after I called. He repaired the problem on my GE washing machine with no problems at all!

Kolin, the technician came was very knowledgeable and got the job done. Definitely recommend Mr appliance especially if they have workers like him. Thanks again.

Kevin and his colleague were very professional, on time and resolved the issue (bad solenoid in the dryer so the water from the “steam function” kept spraying). They explained what was wrong, ordered the necessary part and came back to replace it.
Thanks! -
I was very happy with my service today. Mr. Appliance tech. was on time and provided a good service to my appliance.
