Home Services reviews in Chicago, Illinois

Probably one of the best plant shops in Chicago. The store is well organized, clean, and categorized by plant species and pot color. Staff is friendly and super knowledgeable, they can easily make suggestions and answer any questions about plant care and potting. Their prices in my opinion are slightly above average, especially with certain plant species but not too pricey. However, they probably have the best pot selection in the city! They also supply you with care instructions about the species of plant you buy. I come here a few times a year and will continue to make a trek to their location just for the customer service!

Awesome Place for your garden needs in the city of Chicago. They even have 🐔.

Exceptional, knowledgeable, and passionate customer service. Highly recommend for not just their massive native species selection, but for an extremely positive and pleasant experience too.

The employees there were so amazingly helpful! They really are and explained everything to us so we are less likely to kill our new plant friends. It's nice to have a resource available. Will totally be back!

One of the nicest places for plants and decor I've seen. Love this place and the building is amazing.

I get full sun on my balcony, and geraniums do the best in the dog days of summer. Usually buy the geraniums at my local Home Depot, but they looked spindly the day I stopped in. Plus, this HD was no longer repotting or delivering plants because of Covid. Time for a full service plant store.
A friend knows the owner here and recommended it. This place is huge, so I walked up to the counter and asked for someone to help me. Marina (a gem) volunteered, and within ten minutes I'd dropped $200 on two new pots and two huge, magnificent red geraniums. They repotted them for the price of a bag of soil. For $25 more, the plants were delivered within a few hours and placed on my balcony. Christy Webber is my new favorite plant store! -
Best Christmas tree selection and service. We’ve received so many compliments on our beautiful tree!

What an adorable store! They have a really nice selection of pots and in all types of sizes. The plants are nice too and if you’re looking for something bigger you can find that here. They have all your garden (indoor and outdoor) supply needs. There’s a section of other home good products as well. Super cute place. Staff is very friendly too.
Will come back for sure! -
They have free plants and I got a few of them to fill in my bare spots in my flower bed. Tons of indoor plants and pots pots pots. This is my new favorite place to purchase flowers

I loved it they had a pretty good selection and a cool layout and they were even gracious enough to give away their old end of season plants instead of being one of those awful companies that throw them out... They had a three-tier rack of free plants out front it was awesome they were totally alive they were just not in bloom... Really cool place... I look forward to going back and it's inclusive place too which I appreciate... I was specifically looking for miniature African Violets and they had a great selection man i can't wait to see these things bloom 😍

It's such a great space and a fun plant shop. You could lose your mind with the huge selection of planters! Pretty much anything you'd need for plants can be found here. Also, they do nice family friendly events. I was part of this weekend's Galentines day and they had a terrarium making table and I was selling my jewelry "MojoOwl". It was really fun and some kids got my crystals and put them into the planters.

This space is beautiful to shop in. Not only is it large and spacious, it is artistically arranged. This is a unique place to come and shop for your plant needs no matter where you are located in the city.
Their selection of plants not only ranges from your normal standard choices, but you are able to find plants that would be perfect gifts for someone who collects plants; and wants those unique hard to find items.
This place is also peaceful and reminiscent of childhood themes. If you are an 80's baby ,I assure you, that you will find plants in here that your grandparents had and maybe even some pottery that takes you back as well.
The cost is normal maybe a smidge higher than some plant spots, with sale items being a steal, some plants more costly than others and some are just amazing and totally worth the cost. It will serve you well to take your time and really look through the whole environment, because some of the plants I found were a great bargin. If you are looking for hard to find large pottery ,this is gonna be your spot. If you are looking for one of a kind plants, this is your spot.
The staff was welcoming and answered all my questions.
And no....im not being paid for this.....Webber is that awesome that I wanted to leave this message , cuz I know I have been sleeping on this place.
Without a doubt, I will be back. -
I have always had fantastic experiences at a Christy Webber; when I got my first apartment I bought my monstera from them, followed closely by a fiddle leaf fig, a pilea, money tree, aloe, snake plant, Christmas cactus, and my string of pearls. Each of these plants are now at least 5+ years old. When I was struggling to keep my herb garden alive they not only gave me pointers but encouraged me to keep trying and worked with me on finding varieties that would be hearty in the city. All are THRIVING thanks to the advice and assistance provided by the Christy Weber Farm & Garden team. These are folks that know the true meaning of local businesses and they show up and show out for their communities. Proud to come around CWF&G each season, keep on keepin’ on y’all!

My favorite neighborhood plant store.
Their pots are as vibrant and unique as their plant selection. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. My plant collection has multiplied since discovering this gem. -
They are EXTREMELY helpful. I have no idea about plants, gardening, etc. I just know what looks nice.
Their employees walked me around and explained perennials, annuals, tools, supplies, etc. They asked me about how much sun shines where my garden will be, what time of the day, how much water, measurements of garden, how do I feel about maintenance, etc. I didn't have all of the information so I took some time, gathered the data and came back. I met with a different employee who was just as helpful as the previous employee. Therefore making this a seamless process.
I recommend this place for everyone. I will definitely be back. -
Fantastic store, TONS of natives with an incredibly knowledgeable staff. Not too pricey, except for pots. Great experience and we got a handful of great plants. Everything outside is hardy in our zone, so that's also a plus, makes plant buying a much simpler experience for perennial native gardeners especially. Highly recommend.

I love this store not just because they have beautiful, unique plants, but because the people that work there are an absolute pleasure to deal with.
This store is a cross between an art gallery (oh, the pottery!) and a garden shop (so many unique plants!). But my favorite thing about shopping here is the women who work here. Rhonda and Marina so obviously love what they do, and it just makes me want to spend my money. Yesterday I was there yet again, taking advantage of the awesome end of year sale, less than an hour before they were set to close for the season, and Marina still gave my plants the most care when repotting them, and with a smile. She inspires me to want to be like that at my job. But I honestly am not sure I have it in me. She is literally, just like that: all smiles, and obviously super into her plants. I absolutely love the two I got. And don't even get me started on the pots. So cool! -
Great options for houseplants, the garden, tools, and some local/plant-themed gifts. They have a great selection of bulbs and african violets. Very helpful staff!

I was really satisfied with the job they have done.
