Excellent Plumbers, Would Recommend

TLDR; Great communication, prompt, excellent installation experience, friendly, knowledgeable, great price, very courteous of my home. I'll definitely use them again and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services in Chicago, regardless of the complexity/difficulty of the job.

I needed my 20 year old 75 gallon water heater replaced and decided to go tankless. It was located in my basement where a tight metal spiral staircase was the only access, so getting the old tank out was going to be challenging. I received 4 quotes from highly rated plumbers; only 2 said they would be able to remove the old unit (the Home Depot contracted plumbers didn't even give me a quote after coming out to my house to take a look at everything). Mike from Magic Men said they would be able to remove the old tank and put a top of the line Navien unit in for a very reasonable price. Communication on scheduling the install was great, they were always very quick to respond. Installation went quickly as well. They were able to get the onld unit out of the way and the tankless installed within a day. The next day they came back and chopped up the old tank and had it picked up. They put up plastic sheets to minimize dust, cleaned the space well when they finihed, and didn't scratch any of my floors or walls. I was very impressed with their work overall and would definietly hire them again.

We live in an older home where the sewer line from the house to the main sewer to the street backs up due to tree roots in the sewer line.
We contacted Magic Men came out the very next day. They used snaking, hydro-jetting, and a camera. The whole process took less than an hour.
I also want to mention that it was on one of the coldest days this winter and they were here in the morning ready to work.

I called them at 7pm one evening after we noticed a huge leak from our kitchen sink. They were almost closing but they answered and had someone out the next morning by 9am. Charles was really friendly and efficient - he went out of his way to go to Home Depot to get a new faucet and came right back to repair it all within a couple of hours. Really quick service, really kind people.

Worked with Charles onsite and Miljkan at the office - strong and responsive team! Charles is a great guy and worked hard to get my toilet running properly. These guys do good work and are very communicative. Would not hesitate to recommend.

If I could give 6 stars to Mike, I would. I had a complex tankless water heater install, replacing a traditional 50 gallon unit inside a tiny utility closed. My drywall meant it couldn't be mounted to the wall, the floor drain placement meant that it had to go between my washer/dryer and furnace. Mike really came through on this project, working a very long day through multiple pivots and challenges. I appreciated his dedication to getting the unit installed properly and ensuring the stability and longevity of my tankless investment. He taught me how to do the annual maintenance; adjusted my bath and shower valves after the install changed the hot water level (taught me how to to do this too!); fixed my utility closet door which was already half broken before he got here. Honestly, he's going to be my #1 call at the slightest hint of needing plumbing help going forward. Noah was really great too and worked really hard. The price of the project seemed extremely fair and good value based on my research of how much these things run and based on the sweat, labor, and care I observed yesterday. They were also super careful with my wood floors which I appreciate so much!! Thanks for everything Mike and Noah.

I had a clogged toilet.

Terry and Patrick were professional and friendly. Because it was badly clogged, I expected they would need to pull the toilet. But, fortunately, they were able to unclog it very quickly using a giant snake tool. It only took them ~15 minutes and, because it was so fast, they charged less than we had discussed.

Overall, excellent experience. Would use Water Wolves again and recommend to others.
