Today's my fifth day since Eugene came over to my high-rise condo and replaced my refrigerator line water valve. So far, so good. The water valve looks to be high quality.

This was my first experience with First Chicago Plumbing. The whole process went great. They were responsive and pleasant to talk with from the start. Quickly understood my issue and got me scheduled. The guys came to do the repair the following day. They were very nice and professional. Did an awesome job and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

I recommend First Chicago Plumbing. They were very responsive in providing quotes and flexible in scheduling the service. Their prices are very competitive. The plumber was on time. Justin was friendly, explained the plan for our sewer line rodding and kept me informed on how things were going. I will use them again when needed.

Eugene from first Chicago was the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. He got me quotes quickly, adjusted the invoice as work changed, and kept me informed about progress. The plumbers that he sent out to do the job were extremely professional, explained to me what they were doing, answered any questions I had, and went above and beyond with the plumbing. They worked two very long days. Highly highly recommended. Their pricing was competitive.

We used first Chicago Plumbing to reroute water service, add new service and cap old gas lines. From start to finish, they were amazing. Super responsive on emails. Clear on the estimate (which was reasonable). On time – both on the arrival and getting the job complete. And they did great work – the right way. I'm actually super excited to know I have a plumbing company I can trust for any future work. A new hot water heater is next... and their quote was so much better than one I received from a big name heating and cooling company.

I contacted First Chicago Plumbing last year as I was considering replacing a very old boiler system. This year, was ready to get the work done before winter. I dealt directly with the owner, Eugene, who from the first moment we were in contact was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. We ended up expanding the project quite a bit and I signed the estimate. There were a few other add-ons we had discussed depending on how the project progressed and how much they would end up adding to the cost. I ended up getting everything I wanted done. I was spending quite a bit already, but I felt overall the price was fair for the value I received.

Eugene’s crew followed the example he set. They were prompt, courteous, and very fast. All the while Eugene was in contact and personally ensured the job went smoothly. He took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions. His crew let me know when they were done and left the worksite clean and complete. But Eugene still came out to personally ensure all was well. I would highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing and will rely on them for my future plumbing needs.

We used First Chicago Plumbing to remove an old toilet that was acting up and install a new toilet we'd purchased. They are incredibly buttoned-up: We sent them photos of our existing toilet and specs of our new toilet and they sent back a detailed estimate.

Setting up an appointment was easy and our plumber arrived right on time, just as our text message from First Chicago said he would. Our plumber, Jacob, installed the toilet efficiently and kept our bathroom tidy. The contracted work included hauling our old toilet away.

First Chicago Plumbing was a bit higher in cost than other plumbers we reached out to but it was worth it for reliable, competent service. We'd rather invest in a good installation job and avoid nightmare scenarios with a shoddy installation. Would highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing!

Needed a facility plumbing inspection within the same week as I called & First Chicago was able to fit me in! Eugene was communicative and timeline was just as described. Inspection was thorough and follow up was excellent (same day report). Office was quite easy to work with, invoice in my inbox promptly the following morning.

Any future plumbing needs for our facility, we will plan to call First Chicago. Thanks!

I had a recirculation pump installed to quickly get hot water up to my home’s showers and faucets from the tankless water heater in the basement. Technician Christian did the install, had a great personality, and did an incredible job, explaining all the working details. He was very thorough, clean and communicative. Eugene and George were also helpful in answering all my questions and rescheduling my appointment after I experienced a family emergency. This company stands behind their work (I previously had a garbage disposal installed and it had a slow leak…they came back immediately to resolve the problem). Thanks for the hot water in 5 seconds!

Great first experience with First Chicago Plumbing. They arrived within 90 minutes of my initial call. Justin and Jonathan were friendly and explained what they were doing and why. When they fixed what originally seemed to be the problem, they made sure to test it out, and realized something else was wrong, then took the time to fix that right away. The pricing is competitive and much more fair than other plumbers in the area. We’ll definitely use them again!

Only 5 stars because I can't give 6. They are that good. Very pleased with the sewer repair: they relocated a malfunctioning 80 year old floor drain without tearing out any finished walls, or making much dust. Very clean job, very nice guys. Strongly recommended!

The tech was competent and friendly but I believe the charges were excessive especially since I had to go out and buy some parts myself before I could get the work finished. I will have second thoughts before I use this company again

Had a great experience with Jacob -- he was kind friendly and informative and fixed my spigot outside in no time & hopefully he will come back to fix some more things he identified were needed in my apartment!

Jacob was very professional and efficient! He replaced the bathroom sink faucet, which was exactly as quoted and expected. He helped me learn a few things about the pedestal sink and some of the difficulties that might arise in the future, but he did not pressure me to change the sink! (as another plumber at another company recently did...I switched to First Chicago as a result of the scammers at another business) I appreciate the work, and that he did not try to sell me on additional work that I could not undertake at this time.

First Chicago did a fantastic job with replacing my dead tankless water heater. Eugene and everyone were very flexible and understanding in working with us to get necessary approval from our HOA, and managed to have our new heater installed and running less than 24 hours after we got approval.

Great service, fast, friendly, honest! I had my ejector pump fixed in less than a couple hours.

I have used this company many times and you can't put a price tag on trust. They are excellent communicators. They go up and beyond with their communication and professionalism. Every person they have ever sent out is extremely knowledgeable and has completed the job efficiently. They are my first call every time.
They have done everything from a complete remodel to routing out the toughest clogged drains.

They were extremely quick and helpful. I submitted my request online at 7pm, I heard from them that same night and had a quote in the early AM (George was great). Jacob was our plumber and worked quickly to fix the problem (which I had incorrectly communicated based on a different company that came to look at my sink). Even though Jacob had to go out and get the replacement part the repair was done by 3pm (this was not an emergency and I told that to George and offered to be flexible). Will always be using them!

Selected First Chicago after seeing several good reviews. Really disappointed in our experience for the following reasons:

They asked for pictures of our toilet and shower and then sent us a $1000+ estimate to fix problems they hadn’t diagnosed.

When the plumber arrived he left toilet parts and pieces in the bathroom and gave no context / explanation of what work he actually did or if there was even an issue (we were asking for more maintenance related work as our house is just over 2 years old)

The plumber refused to take the credit card we had left with my sister in law to pay for the service (my husband and I were at the hospital at the time having our second child, unexpectedly) and insisted she pay with Zelle. She didn’t have Zelle setup so had to set it up and troubleshoot to accommodate while the plumber looked on annoyed that it was taking time.

We had also asked that the plumber help us diagnose a sump pump issue and acknowledged we would pay for the required service after diagnosis (all documented via email) - when he arrived, the plumber told
my sister in law that he wasn’t going to help and we needed to call the city if we wanted help. Just completely different than what we had scoped re the work and labor requested.

Felt very much like we were taken advantage of and I have no intention of ever working with First Chicago plumbing. Highly recommend you find a more integrity driven business to work with if you are looking for a plumber! We paid $450 for nothing.
