Kuhn is extremely professional and knowledgeable. They are worth every penny because they fix problems correctly the first time. I use them for multiple properties and no plumbing issue is too large or small.

Had a plumbing emergency last week, leaking toilet in highrise, potential disaster. Kuhn plumber showed up in less than hour. Quick, efficient, professional, and personable plumber fixed the problem in an hour. Highly recommend this company.

The most professional and knowledgeable plumbers I have worked with over many years in property management. These guys work fast, and the work site will be left as clean or cleaner than it was prior to the work being done. You'll understand why this company has been in business for over 100 year after you've used them.

We've used Kuhn for decades, and have never doubted the quality of the work, or their commitment to insuring that the work was completed successfully. In the last year Kuhn Plumbing has done a number of projects for us. These include installing a basement sink and setting up attachments for a washer, repairing a pipe under the kitchen sink, and improved the flow of our shower head. Each time they completed a quality job on schedule. Plus we had a number of plumbers look at our shower head problem, but only Tom was able to dramatically improve the flow.

Took 45 minutes to install a dishwasher (plumbers on-site complained about being installers now) and they charged $196 up front. Bill came 2 months later for an additional $506 and shows over 2 hours of service. They did end up crediting $100 off but not satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend a more buttoned up establishment unless you want to overpay for quick service during Covid.

Amazing service! Multi-unit condo and commercial building had a sewer clog and it wasn't at all clear where the access point to the sewer was. Nate was soooo helpful and thorough in trying to get access to the sewer and get our issue resolved! He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional! John and Kevin who worked on the sewer were also great! Would highly recommend Kuhn Plumbing.

I called Kuhn Plumbing because I needed help with the leak coming from the ceiling. 2 plumbers arrived and inspected the water damage. They were very kind to wear shoe protectors before going inside our house. They figured the leak was coming from the hot water pipe supplying our hallway bathroom. The plumbers took their time and got their materials from their car. They did a good job. I only wish they finished the job at a short time (plumbers would go in and out of the house to get materials or supplies together). I was charged $701 for the pipe repair.

I had a toilet that was backed up. I called them and was pleasantly surprised that they could come out in less than 90 minutes. They arrived promptly and had the problem fixed in less than 10 minutes. I have used them before and was happy with the results about another issue. I was extremely happy with their service and their professional quality. I will call them in the future if I need their services. Signed a Happy home owner.

Needed shut off valves replaced in the kitchen. Tom and his helper Luke arrived on time. They looked at the work to be done . made a plan and retrieved the necessary parts. The work was done quickly and the clean up and testing were performed before they left. They worked well with the Building maintenance staff. I would highly recommend Tom and Luke for any plumbing projects.

Kuhn Plumbing has been our plumber for years. They are very responsive, getting someone out in a couple of hours (for a non-emergent issue). They gave dispatch updates and Mike arrived at the stated time with mask in place. Since reading our file history of a potentially complicated water heater, they sent one of their more experienced plumbers who fixed it without any difficulty. He also checked with the manufacturer to be sure there wasn't another nuance. Then Mike explained the problem and how to fix it in the future. Professional and friendly throughout. Outstanding service.

We had a complicated shower problem. Tom and John from Kuhn plumbing came to our home. Kept us up to date on what they found, potential solutions, etc. They fixed the long standing problem. Our shower now works beautifully. Super happy.

Gotta love a family owned local business! I have rental properties plus my own and I wouldn’t call anyone else for service. They fix problems, not try to sell you new ones. Honest and upfront. I recommend Kuhn to all my friends and family.

Kuhn Plumbing is my hero… I feel reassured the minute I call them because they’ve always taken care of whatever plumbing crisis I have with professionalism, expertise, efficiency, and friendliness. My latest crisis was a washer flooding my kitchen. Thanks to Tom and John for not only doing a great job of fixing a clogged pipe very deep in the plumbing, explaining everything clearly to me, and cleaning everything as they went so things were spotless, they also brought materials to move my heavy, full sized stackable washer / dryer out of the closet without damaging the flooring and testing my washer. All of the plumbers who have come from Kuhn Plumbing have been fantastic, so thanks to all of them and to Mike who does a great job of getting the information needed when I call to send what’s needed for my repair.

Kuhn came in to provide a second opinion on the source of a leak in our lovely new kitchen. They were professional, thorough, and nice. They diagnosed a problem that the first plumbing company missed and gave me thoughtful advice on the options for fixing it. I would definitely call Kuhn FIRST the next time we have a plumbing issue.

We had a terrific experience with Kuhn Plumbing for our gas hot water heater replacement. The old water heater began to leak one evening. I called Kuhn around 7:30am the following morning and Tom was able to visit to inspect and provide a reasonable estimate by 9:00am. After discussing the options, Tom returned later that morning with the replacement hot water heater and was able to complete the replacement by early afternoon on the Friday before a holiday weekend, which enabled us to keep our plans. Each call to Kuhn has been promptly answered. All my questions were patiently and completely resolved. Overall, we definitely recommend Kuhn Plumbing.

Our water heater was old enough to go to a bar and order a beer! So after 24 years we called Kuhn Plumbing to work up a quote to replace that and straighten out some pipe mess, install a new expansion tank for furnace as well as install a new pressure reducing valve. The plumbers did a fantastic job and I'm pretty fussy. I also watched as they worked, not to be a PITA, but just because I like this sort of thing. I was probably a PITA anyway. Their prices seemed reasonable too. I am glad that I found and used them and wouldn't hesitate to call for other work since I am getting older and more horrible as time goes. by. Kuhn was responsive and easy to schedule, and they carried the necessary insurance required by my building. The plumber was experienced and successfully identified and repaired a minor leak in our bathroom faucet, which I appreciated. From a technical standpoint, this aspect of the service deserves a 5-star rating.

However, I’m rating the overall experience at 2.5 stars due to the pricing structure and billing practices. Kuhn charges $200 for the first 30 minutes of labor and $240 per hour thereafter, in addition to the cost of parts. They also pass parking charges onto the customer. In our case, they could have avoided this by calling ahead, as our building has available parking spots (-0.5 star).

More significantly, time spent traveling to a supply store for parts was also billed at the full hourly labor rate of $240. This felt unreasonable, as I would have preferred to handle the parts myself or schedule a follow-up visit once they were available. At that rate, I expected billable time to reflect active work on-site rather than travel.

While I’m glad the repair was completed, the overall billing approach left me less than fully satisfied.

Kuhn Plumbing is top notch. I hired them for a new water heater when my original unit died, and Kuhn was so extremely responsive, quick to find solutions, honest, and explained everything to me in detail. Pat was one of technicians who came out to help and he was great. I can’t recommend them enough for any plumbing needs- great group of people!
