I had to drive there to get a product that I found on line and only sold by two stores in the Chicago area. They were closer.
They were helpful over the phone and more so in person when I asked for assistance with my kitchen sink pipe.

Super friendly staff here! I had no idea just how large the showroom was from the outside, nor how many awesome ideas I'd leave with.... I'll definitely be back when it's time to redo some rooms at home!

Purchased a drum trap that I couldn’t find anywhere else , matched the original trap that was installed when the house was built in the 20’s. Amazing, they have pieces and fittings you can’t find anywhere else. I am a customer for life. The staff helped me out as well , knew what I was talking about ,what I was looking for and needed.

We renovated a 2 story / 4 unit building and Mark was our designer / consultant. He helped us stay within budget and had the best suggestions for color, style, and use of space. He was so helpful and responsive, never pushy. Their prices are so reasonable and fair that my GC told me just to buy straight from Consumer Supply because their prices were practically the same as the GC's cost for things like tiling and custom vanity, ktichen and bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, and countertops. What an amazing find! Thanks, Mark!

I placed an order for Burnham Baseray Cast iron baseboard heaters over the phone with Kenny on April 21. He was super helpful and even drew a diagram of how the baseboards were installed. He also added all of the accessories that we would need to install the baseboard to our order - valves etc...

We received the shipment via a freight company on May 5th. The delivery slip said one skid clear shrink wrapped intact and signed for the shipment.

My plumber opened the shrink wrap when he came to install the baseboard and called me to ask where all the accessories were and if there was a separate box. I immediately called Kenny inquiring if the accessories he added to my order were on the skid or in a separate box. He said a separate box and they would have been under the shrink wrap. I stated they weren't and even a sent a picture of the skid we received. He stated since it was over a month he would not send them, but I could pay for replacements. Why would I pay for something twice!! He didn't even check with his warehouse or employee who had packed the shipment.

I am sure there is a box in his warehouse that has my name on it. I was originally impressed with the customer service, but am appalled at how the transaction ended.

I had to place a rush order from another company to get the necessary parts for my plumber as he had us on his schedule for two days

I purchased a sump pump thru Consumers Supply Company and they were very helpful getting me the correct product. Recently I had a warranty issue with my pump and they were once again very helpful thru-out the whole process. I would highly recommend them.
    Thank You!!

Everyone there is so helpful especially for the non contractor home owner or do it yourself they never miss the small details. I pass by 10 big box stores to go there and come from Lombard it's worth the trip. Thanks especially Joe C you never make me feel rushed. Thank You. Dean

I had a part from a water filter that wasn't available on the market, I went to the Consumers Supply Company and they found a solution right away!
Of course that store has a huge collection of bathroom stuff and more things!
People are very friendly as well and they have built big screens for safety about Coronovirus.
You can park your car outside of the store for convenience.

Very bad toilet installation. Not to mention, they drove over 100 miles an hour, cutting off every car on I-90.

Absolutely the worst on line purchase I have ever made. I paid for a new tank and booster pump. I received a scratched up tank and a pump that didn't work at all. My plumber, $600 later (trouble shooting) had zero success. Consumers Plumbing accepted no liability. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS, EVER! $1,400 IN MATERIAL AND ANOTHER $600 LABOR, GONE...

Very Very Very disappointed. I am a plumber and I have been shopping here for years. We never try to push a product on our customers and always give them options. Unfortunately this time around our customer was pushed to purchase a item that we suggested not to use, a Consumers representative told the customer that I didn’t know what I was doing and to purchase the item and that they would give her a different contractor that will do the job. This was my last purchase made at Consumers, for a good place go Ferguson.

Very fast transaction. I arrived there with all the broken parts we needed for our sink. I was assisted very fast and accurately. My bad, I forgot to ask the name of the nice, knowledgeable guy who assisted me. However, Thank you very much. You're helping many people and saving us for spending a lot on our plumbing and kitchen sink needs. Good job!

Had a small disaster when the kitchen faucet busted a hose. Thought of these guys immediately and stopped by thinking they'd be the most likely to have the part in stock. Setup of the shop is well done for COIVD safety and the service was quick and very helpful. Part was in stock, advice was helpful, fixed before dinner. Thanks!

Came to return a faucet after two weeks of purchase. My plumber said that only cold water was coming out although they had water mixed. I informed him I wasn’t able to answer if it was defective or not. I informed the man who saw me that I can’t answer any more technical questions because I’m not a plumber. I also informed him that we were under a time constraint so our plumber brought a faucet himself.
The man repeated twice that the warranty requires them to talk to the plumber. I asked them if that means that despite it being less than 30 days since purchase if they are informing me that they would not refund. To which the man told me that I “have attitude” and they “don’t have time to waste on you”.
I informed the man that the statement was very rude and that I would have to record them on video so other people can see how the company representative talks to the customers. He promptly disappeared and then came back and offered a refund. After which he said that he was just trying to inform me of how they do things. I said I didn’t want to write a negative review I was just upset at how he talked to me and that 1) he called me rude, 2)told me I have attitude, 3) told me he doesn’t have time to waste on me. He responded with “do you even hear yourself right now”.
Have done a lot of business here before and recommended this place but no more. I don’t understand why people can’t handle their statements repeated back to them and why can’t people just be nice to their customers.

Interesting thing is a a I was leaving a gentleman behind me who was waiting was asked by one of the staff members if he has been helped and as the man started responding the staff member started repeating over him to call the phone number and the plaque as if he didn’t have time to listen to the answer he asked for. Another customer waiting in a vehicle laughed loudly at the stupidity of the situation. It seems like the attitude of disregard for their customers is a trademark for this company.

I always believe in second chances. Always.
Almost immediately after posting this review the owner responded and insisted I revisit so it could be made right.
That's good customer service. I adjusted from 1 to 3 stars and once I do revisit, I'll update.

My first experience there must've been at the end of someone's long, hard day. We've all been there.

I actually can't wait to return and check out the showroom- I'm wanting to give a showerhead and wand setup as a gift to myself and the one I share my shower with. And I know where I want to buy it.

I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic customer service and extremely helpful and knowledgeable employees. We received immediate support when we put in a request via the on-site message system, and were able to find exactly what we needed. We've received prompt responses to additional requests for help via email as well. We will definitely continue to shop at Consumers Supply for our plumbing and heating needs.

Excellent service, and great customer service. I was able to find a Left/Right nipple for a heating radiator.

I had a really good experience in the showroom and at the plumbing parts counter. Customer service over the phone can be a little hit or miss. I had one call where the woman who answered was pretty rude. Overall, great selection of fixtures, cabinets, and tile and very competitive prices.

I drove from St. Louis to purchase a 4x19x4 slenderized Burnham radiator for the steam heating system in my 100-year-old home. Staff at Consumers Supply were extremely helpful in making the purchase. They were just as helpful after the purchase by taking my long distance phone calls about painting and installing the radiator. It is now installed in a small bathroom where there has been no heat for over twenty years. The radiator works great.
