We had a fire breakout in our house due to a faulty battery charger. ServiceMaster was great to work with, and they took care of all of the smoke damage, right down to hauling rugs and other household items away for proper cleaning. I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. But, if it happens, it's nice to know there are people who can help you get back on track.

I recently hired ServiceMaster for carpet cleaning, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service! From the initial inquiry to the final result, everything was seamless. The team arrived on time, were professional, and took great care in moving furniture and protecting my home.
The carpets look like new, with all stains and dirt completely removed. They used eco-friendly products, which was important to me, and the drying time was much quicker than I expected. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality carpet cleaning. Truly excellent service!

Service Master scheduled an in-home visit within 24 hours, came and did an infrared and moisture meter analysis and provided me with on the spot results. They were professional and courteous and I highly recommend them.

despite an incredibly busy season, the team was able to come out, take care of business and help remove broken furniture within a few days. They also worked directly with our insurance, which was a big plus and saved us a lot of hassle.

Dan and team responded quickly to our water damage and offered us a more practical approach than another vendor. The machines arrived next day and the drying worked as expected. Dan was responsive to our questions and walked us through each step in the process.

I would not give this company SERVICE MASTER OF LINCOLN PARK even 1 star. Their idea if cleaning a wood floor was to MOP THE FLOOR. When they came out for an estimate they said they CLEANED FLOORS not ran a mop over the floor. When I said you can’t just mop the man said well they don’t scrub floors!!! That’s so ridiculous! I am so upset at their false promise of cleaning. This same man who came out for the estimate saw paint splatters on the floor and I told him they were new. He didn’t say anything about not being able (or the fact they they don’t WORK at getting them out).But when they came to do the job he said his boss told him not to do anything but mop the floor and that won’t get the paint off. MOPPING ALSO IS NOT CLEANING THE FLOOR ...ITS JUST MOVING DIRTY WATER AROUND. Worst case of misrepresentation of work that I have ever seen. The part of the floor that they ran their dirty mop over isn’t even remotely clean. But they are not bashful about charging an arm and a leg.They advertise that people should have this “cleaning” done every so often to get their floors really clean. THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF REALLY CLEAN! Swishing a dirty mop over the floor!!!! I asked them to leave. Now I am in a terrible situation with one day left before I have someone move in. I hope this review will help someone else not get duped into hiring them!

This ServiceMaster team was very well managed, effective and pleasant in a time that is difficult for a homeowner. In my case, they went above the call of duty moving a significant amount of contents stored in the water damaged area.

Can't say enough good things about this team! They came out on Easter Sunday, within two hours of calling, to dry us out after a broken hose pipe flooded the ceiling, walls and floor of our lower level condo. They were so responsive, courteous and just great throughout the whole ordeal. Such a relief we found them. Highly recommend!

Yikes. Appointment taker didn't even ask for my email. As appointment day drew near, I had no confirmation or updates. Had to call (I don't live where service was requested). Guy showed up and told me it was three times the cost to do the work, as they brought three guys (to clean 600 square foot apartment?). Shady social media presence should have given me a clue. All SM locations are independently owned and operated. Do not use this one.

Dan and David are the very best. I was dealing with water damage from an upstairs neighbor's overflowing w/d, and in a stressful situation, these two are top notch. They were incredibly helpful in explaining everything that was needed at each step, and they accommodated every issue that arose (not through their fault, but just the things that happen as you're going through a process like this). I highly recommend using ServiceMaster of LP for any projects, but if you come home to find wet floors at midnight on a Saturday, as I did, these are the guys to call!
