I am the treasurer for the 209 Ridge Condo Association. We had a flood in our basement and called ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons for a basement cleaning and to have our carpets cleaned. I could not be happier with the service. They showed up on time and worked with precision and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

It was recommended to contact ServiceMaster Restoration by a flooring contractor due to water damage in my condo unit. I called on Friday, and had an appointment for Monday.

Sam promptly came out to my condo unit to assess damages of my hardwood floor due to a shower leak underneath my sub-floor from a neighboring unit.

Sam listened patiently to my frustrations, as I have been pulled in many different directions as to how to resolve my issue.

Sam was very professional, knowledgeable, and forthcoming in providing recommendations, as to how to resolve my flooring problem.

I would not hesitate to contact Sam and Service Master in the future.

We had RAW SEWAGE gushing out of a pipe into my basement at 7pm on Saturday evening! After we shook the initial panic, my wife and I threw towels down to try to sop up the awful smelling water pooling on our hardwood floors in several rooms in our basement. Quickly realizing that was not going to do the job I started calling disaster relief companies, as you can imagine at 7pm on Saturday not many were answering or immediately available. I finally reached Sam at ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons. He was at our home to assess our issue within 30 minutes, he called his team and within 1 hour they were here with all of their equipment. We could not believe how fast they got to work and how professional they were considering with what they were deal with! They extracted the sewer water mopped and sanitized the floors and walls then they set up all of the equipment.
They brought in a hardwood floor system that is installed in panels and is taped onto the top of the hardwood floors and hooks up to a vacuum system and actually sucks up and removes the water and moisture through the seams of the floor boards with out putting holes in our floors…I have never seen anything like it!
The also brought in several dehumidifiers and air movers. It has been about a day and a half and the machines are still doing their job and the dehumidifiers are still pulling moisture from the air. I have to say that if you have a disaster and are in need of competent, caring, hardworking professionals with all of the right equipment HIRE SERVICEMASTER RESTORATION BY SIMONS!!

ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons could not have been a better partner in getting through a recent rain water infiltration episode at my lakefront high-rise rental condo.

These guys were prompt, professional and productive from the moment I called frantically looking for help right through final pick-up of their moisture mitigating equipment the next week. All the while, their excellent customer service approach kept me informed + updated (aka: "calm") about the processes being utilized to dry the unit out, remove the damaged flooring materials, etc. and help ward off secondary loss.

Obviously, I hope to never experience another disaster like this, but, if I do, I know having ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons as a resource will help me endure and emerge with my property protected and my sanity intact.

Sam (the owner) was fantastic. I called ServiceMaster regarding water damage to my hardwood. I called in the afternoon and Sam came out the next morning. He ran through all of my options with me, including ones where I wouldn't necessarily need his services, and offered me cost saving options as well. His prices are also extremely competitive. I am weighing my options but if I do go through with drying the wood, I won't hesitate to call Sam and ServiceMaster!

Sam at Service Master has professional integrity and is wonderfully supportive. After water poured through my light fixtures in my condo from a pipe break two floor above, Sam came to evaluate the water content of walls, floors, etc.
He assessed that a full on dry-out was not necessary even though my floors are clearly damaged. He gave me options versus imposing unecessary costs to my insurance company. All of this with no compensation for his time. Sam is an exemplary professional, honest and kind. He left his card with the offer to freely answer any questions I may have as I navigate this stressful process.
Hopefully, I will never never again need a visit from Service Master in the future (fingers AND toes crossed!), but if I do, I will definitely go with this company.

We hired ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons to do cleaning of the Evanston Art Center. They did an excellent job! The staff was professional and came on time. They worked hard to make the rooms sparkle!!! I would recommend them to anyone who has a major cleaning project. They are the best!

Our company was moving out of state. The old office in Chicago was quite a mess after all the furniture have been removed. Carpets were in really bad shape and I was sure I'd get in trouble with our landlord. A friend of a friend recommended Service Master. I was a little bit apprehensive at first, because they mostly advertise their fire and water restoration services, but they also provide cleaning services for homes and offices. They did a phenomenal job. Our office looked like a different place after their crew completed their job. Whatever they did to the carpets, it worked... carpets looked almost like new. No complaints from the landlord. I already recommended Service Master to our floor neighbors in our old office building and I would call them in a heartbeat again if they were here in Los Angeles...

I hired ServiceMaster to clean one couch, one recliner, one padded chair, and two couch pillows that hadn’t been cleaned in about 2years and we have two dogs that shed like there is not tomorrow. Bill and Sorry I forgot the other gentlemen’s name arrived promptly and were courteous and professional. The quality of their work was amazing and the furniture looks and felt practically brand new. We contacted the ServiceMaster hotline and ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons was sent out to our condo. They were very professional, and explained everything, every step of the way. Our home had to have a lot of the walls and ceilings removed and had to be dried out. ServiceMaster managed to do all of this without ruining the rest of our home, which we found impressive. They handled all of the business with our insurance and took that load off of our shoulders. All said and done, ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons did an impeccable job. Our 3 bedroom condo experienced water damage on a freezing / thawing Chicago winter weekend. Within hours, ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons-Chicago had confirmed their availability and scheduled an arrival appointment for early the next day. A polite, efficient crew arrived with over a dozen pieces of heavy duty restoration equipment. Sam explained the restoration process and outlined how everything worked with the insurance company. Product and service were outstanding.

This review is almost a year late but I wanted to share our good experience and express our appreciation for ServiceMaster by Simon's help - and to Sam Simon in particular - for their excellent service to help us restore our commercial building after a broken water heater flooded our home and two floors of commercial spaces below us. We detected the flood on a Saturday morning in May 2019 and less than 2 hours later Sam and his team were on site tearing out wet material and setting up their drying equipment.

For over 3 weeks, Sam and his team came out twice a day to set up and remove their drying equipment in one of our tenant's spaces - a bank that needed to stay open in the middle of the restoration period. They arrived early in the morning before the bank opened to set up and after the bank closed to take out the equipment. In addition, they set up drying equipment in the basement, our home and another tenant's space and diligently monitored the conditions until each area was properly dried out so we could move on to the repair phase. It was a major mess but Sam and his team were cheerful and calm every day and ensured we understood and were comfortable with their plan.

We are very pleased with our experience with ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons and highly recommend them for residential or commercial restoration needs. They are an excellent company and one that we would not hesitate to hire again if we need their services.

Water damage is one of those things you hope you'll never have to deal with, but when you do, having a great cleanup & restoration service is vital. The folks at Service Master were fantastic. I felt like I was in good hands through the entire process. They explained everything they were doing and answered all my question. I have put a lot of thought into this recommendation for ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons=Chicago .If it were not for this company and its owner, Sam Simon, I know for certain that the experience would have been extremely difficult to deal with.

I was away when my nephews stopped by to check on the house. They walked into darkness, no electricity and water everywhere on the first floor and basement due to a burst pipe under the kitchen sink. Sam was out to the house the very next morning with equipment to begin the water removal and drying out of all the wet surfaces both upstairs and down. They then proceeded to remove all the damaged flooring for the replacement process. Now, just a little more than two weeks later, my house is prepped and ready for replacement/repairs to begin so that I may move back into my home as soon as it is habitable.

Sam and his staff made the ENTIRE process as painless as possible while keeping me well informed and up to date as to what was being done. Sam was also just a phone call away when I had questions or needed further explanations as to what was going on. No matter how much I express my appreciation, it will never come remotely close to what he/they deserve and have earned. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for what Sam and his staff did to make this as painless a process as would be expected under the circumstances.

Whether navigating through who to choose for contractors or dealing with the insurance company, there was nothing more I could have asked from a friend, never mind a restoration specialist who had never met me before. I HIGHLY recommend Sam and his staff for your restoration needs.

I cant say enough good things about ServiceMaster by Simon. Had smoke damage from a fire in another unit in my condo building State Farm recommended ServiceMaster. I chose Sam Simon.. He was out to the building an hour later and cleanup started immediately. Very thorough job...no problems what so ever and in a matter of days complete cleanup of unit was finished and no smoke smell at all. Amazing how he did it. Kept me informed all the way and easy to get in touch with. Really nice job...I will not use anyone else if I require similar services. Nice job!
