ServiceMaster of Lincoln Park did a great job drying out my condo unit when the washing machine in the unit above mine flooded. Water from the flooded washing machine came pouring through my ceiling and every opening (into light fixtures, through openings for plumbing and HVAC, etc.) I called ServiceMaster of Lincoln Park and they arrived within one hour. They evaluated the situation and took steps to dry out my ceiling and walls. Their speedy service and efficient handling of the situation no doubt saved me from a lot more damage and more costly repairs! I would definitely recommend ServiceMaster of Lincoln Park for fast, professional, quality service. As a bonus, they work seamlessly with many home and condo insurance companies. Highly recommend!

Dan and David are incredible and very professional! Our neighbor's hot water broke and gallons of water came through our ceiling yesterday morning. Dan was so gracious to fit us in and came by to access the damage within a few hours of our initial call. He was great about explaining the process and sent us a detailed estimate within an hour of our appointment. His team worked late into the evening to get all the equipment set up so we could begin to dry out our condo ASAP. They work with your insurance as well and all we had to provide them was our claim number. They are the very best!

The staff worked diligently on my kitchen and bathroom for a significant amount of time. They were efficient, very skilled and offered advice to me that I can do inbetween visits. When they left my condo looked like a NEW place. I will definately have a date with these people in 6 months.

I can't recommend this ServiceMaster franchise highly enough! I awoke one morning to find water pouring in through my kitchen ceiling and immediately called my insurance company, who gave me the contact info for another group to call (it was around 6am on Sunday by the way). Although I was able to get ahold of this other company, they refused to come out until the leaking had stopped, which really did me no good. In a panic, I turned to google and called and left a message for this ServiceMaster franchise based on the two positive yelp reviews I saw. Sam, the owner, called me back within about a minute and told me not to worry and that he'd be at my place with his team within two hours.... And he was. Wow!

This sort of destructive event in your home can be pretty traumatic and make you feel a bit helpless... Sam has an awesome bedside manner and I could tell from the start that he was a very genuine, good person to work with. He really helped talk me down from freaking out and assured me not to worry and that everything was going to be ok. I believed him and was let down. It turns out he took over this franchise from his parents following a career traveling the world filming rock bands (it was time to settle down I guess). Pretty interesting background and not what I expected! You can tell he grew up around the business though, as he definitely knows his stuff and has all the proper certifications for this type of work.

So I gave Sam my key and let him do his thing. Not only did he figure out what was causing the leak (a plumbing issue) and get it stopped ASAP, he finished the repairs much sooner than I expected and did a fantastic job at that! His follow-up and communications were great during the process... Always updating me on the repair progress and texting me pics. He was also extremely fair with me when it came to pricing and was quick to suggest was he thought I might be able to save some money on the repairs, even if it meant not using him for some of them. He also went to bat for me directly with my insurance company when they were being difficult about payment and got the job down on that front as well.

When it comes to this type of emergency work, you really need someone who is responsive, trustworthy, competent, and emotionally aware. Sam is all these things and more! My only regret is that I didn't write this review sooner... I had meant to write it several months ago after the event had occurred, but got caught up in other things and spaced on it. Oh well... I hope if you're reading this now it helps you out in knowing this is a great company to call!

Our administrative offices in Chicago were affected by severe smoke damage as a result of a fire on another floor. ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons came out in a flash. They packed out our entire office and moved it to storage until the reconstruction of our offices was complete. Our office cubicles were disassembled and moved out as well. ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons cleaned and restored all of our office furniture just like it was before the fire. Working with them was very easy and we highly recommend ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons in the event of fire or smoke damage in Chicago.

This is a great company. I had some water damage from the unit above that damaged a lot of the walls in my bathroom. They arrive properly and dried everything out. They constantly followed up with us on every step of the process. I would definitely recommend an any water or fire loss.

Service Master sent a crew within an hour of being notified of my flooding disaster. The courteous team quickly cleared out and cleaned up my soggy basement. They positioned fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the premises. Three days later they returned to check the progress and reposition the machines. Three days later the machines were removed and the area was back to normal. I would call Service Master in a heart beat if I needed them again.

Servicemaster saved me time,, hassle and money hands-down. I am in/out of the area but have leaned on ServicePro for all needs, big and small. Simply... they got stuff done in Bucktown, Painter’s Row and Rogers Park.

Responsive, dedicated and honest. These guys were there for me to get the job done when I needed somebody in my corner. It was great to meet with the owner, responded to each concern and quickly, offered me honest advice each time to get me back up and running.

ServiceMaster has been a blessing ! 4 years ago we had water damage due to a busted bathroom pipe an their staff were very professional and friendly .They came out quickly and got to work immediately and did a wonderful job! So last month when we had water damage due to a frozen pipe we didn't think twice and called ServiceMaster and again they did a GREAT job!

Recently our family experienced the tragedy of losing a loved one after a long and severe illness. In his absence we had an overwhelming task of sorting through his contents and moving them out of his home. We had estimated that it would take well over a month to go through everything and find places to move the contents. From a former profession I held handling property insurance claims on the East Coast US, I had gotten to know ServiceMaster vendors as very professional and reputable to partner with. This led to me finding ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons in the Chicagoland area for a hoarder clean up job. They were no exception to the positive impact I had from working with the ServiceMaster Brand on the East Coast. Right away, my point of contact, Sue Mabwa, was empathetic and cooperative to our situation. She was very patient and flexible with us, particularly during the first planning phase when our family was still assessing the overall situation.

What impressed me most about my work with Sue was that she only met with me in person once and despite the job being significantly large, she always remembered key areas of uncertainty in the scope of the work better than I had remembered myself (i.e. what to do with an exercise bike in the living room, or collectables in bedroom 2, etc.) I was also amazed to find that ServiceMaster Restoration completed the entire job that would have taken us over a month in just 2-3 days. They were also very flexible in where we wanted the contents moved. We had some contents that needed to go into storage in Chicago and other contents that we needed moved to our home in the suburbs, which Service Masters was able to accomplish for us . As formerly paying for jobs such as these for insurance companies, I also felt that the overall cost for the entire job was a very fair and competitive price.

When the job was complete, it was truly amazing to see our loved one’s apartment restored to the state that it once was before he had accumulated so many things over the years. Sue and the team from ServiceMaster Restoration went above and beyond our expectations and addressed all of our family’s concerns professionally and were always available to discuss key questions we had during the process. I would highly recommend them for any line of work that they offer and give 5/5 stars.
