I had the great pleasure of meeting Luis, Giovanni, Anthony, Eddy, and Angel from Kats. When I woke up to my HVAC not operational and Chicago expected to have the coldest weather in years, I called Kats and they were at my home within a few hours!
The crew was very through about everything going on with my system and guided me in the right direction.
After a few hours, I had a whole new furnace installed.
These guys are WONDERFUL and I would recommend this company time and time again!

My furnace needed replacing. I got a couple estimates before choosing Kats. Kats owner Gio came out first and gave a superb presentation. I immediately felt comfortable with them. Kats sent out Eddy G to do the install. Eddy was a true professional from start to finish. Eddy went above and beyond by creating a little more space and giving it a much cleaner look than I anticipated. I was really impressed. The 2 stage Bryant system i chose is working flawlessly. I would recommend Kats without hesitation.

Kats Heating & Cooling is the perfect example of why I choose to work with small, local businesses. Their work and customer service has always been top tier, but a recent experience really went above and beyond.

A few years ago I had them install a new furnace and AC and as far as I knew, everything was functioning normally. During a service visit this winter, Kats identified that the furnace had been continuously overheating. (My bad, I didn’t even know what short cycling was! Don’t skip your yearly furnace and AC servicing!) Without any prompting on my end, Giovanni offered to replace the furnace they had installed with a brand new unit. Keep in mind, this is 4 years after the initial install! They took responsibility for the issue, stood behind the quality of their work, and made no excuses.

To say I was impressed with their integrity is an understatement. It’s one thing for a company to install equipment, but a company’s true character is tested when something isn’t right and Kats handled the entire situation professionally, quickly, and respectfully. Giovanni and his team truly care about their customers and their reputation. It’s clear they value doing the right thing and not cutting corners.

A big thank you to Kats Heating & Cooling, we are extremely grateful for how this situation was handled and would absolutely recommend this small business to anyone looking for an honest and dependable HVAC company.

We highly recommend Kats! Giovanni was able to come out same day and within a few hours of us noticing a smell coming from our furnace. He was able to help us figure out what was going on pretty quickly. He was very knowledgeable and professional and highly recommend them!

KATS was incredibly responsive and clearly committed to quality. They showed up within 10 minutes of my call on a Saturday, and had a new furnace installed by Monday.

What really impressed me was their process: they used reputable sizing tools and even 3D scanned my home to accurately confirm square footage and heat loss, so the system was sized correctly.

Angel, our tech, was a total pro. He walked me through the installation plan up front, addressed every concern I had, and then reviewed the commissioning process at the end. He ran the right tests to make sure everything was operating properly. Real professionalism from start to finish—highly recommend.

Eddy G and Angel were my install specialists this evening. Not only were they skilled at their craft, they were cheerful and left my home cleaner than they found it. They worked late into the night without a break in order to get my new heating system up and running.

Eddy showed me each part of my new equipment and explained what it was, what it did and how to change the filter (if applicable); he’s a great teacher, I hope I remember the lesson when I need it. If not, I’ll call Kats for service. :)

We called Kats to get a second opinion and we are so happy we did. Giovanni came out right away on a Saturday to provide us with an estimate and Eddy G replaced our furnace and air conditioner that Monday.

Overall great experience! They are extremely professional, informative, and caring company.
With such a large purchase we also felt their prices were reasonable. Giovanni provided a better quote with a better product and warranty compared to the other company.

We will be using them in the future for all our maintenance needs.

Very happy customer. Mike was extremely professional during our annual preventative maintenance checkup on our AC. He also offered a quote on replacing our water heater which is starting to show its age. Kudos to Mike and the entire Comfort Services team!

And, after evaluating the system, he got the a/c running properly, just in time, before our most recent heat wave. I called Comfort at 8am to report an issue with our AC unit. The weather forecast for the next couple of days was for extreme heat. They had a technician at my house by 9:30am the same morning. The technician Joseph D, was professional and had the problem resolved in under 30 minutes. I appreciated the quick response and HIGHLY recommend them for any HVAC services that you need.

I have been a customer of Comfort Services Heating and Air about 15 years. They have consistently provided good service and made repairs when necessary. Joe completed an annual review of my AC. He was professional and helpful, which is what I've come to expect with their services. Diane H

I highly recommend this company. I called them on a Saturday and didn’t expect a quick response, but in less than an hour, someone arrived. They were very organized and respectful. Jorge was amazing! He came to our house and conducted a thorough assessment of what needed to be done. He kept us updated and even called additional people to check the rest of the house that needed repairs. He was very transparent about the costs and didn’t pressure us into using their services. Instead, he provided several options tailored to our needs. Jorge also followed up with us and helped with the paperwork that our insurance required. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services.

Tristan and his co-worker were phenomenal, they were on time, courteous (wore shoe covers and laid out a rug), two of the hardest working guys I’ve seen, they cleaned up better then they found the HVAC, and were even earlier then their expected completion. Fantastic work, thank you!

Brandon Dbila with Comfort Services was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and made this senior very comfortable while servicing my AC. Did you know the arrow on the filter points to the unit and not always up? I was so pleased with his service I signed up for the Comfort+ Maintenance Plan and also referred my friend.

Brandon did our AC Annual maintenance last week. We are fully satisfied with his service. He knows what he is doing and he gave us pointers on how to take care of our AC to make it last longer. We are one of the first customer when Comfort Services started as I recall in the 90'S.

Orlando and his crew were awesome. Timely, very hard working guys that took their time to make sure everything was in working order, additionally, they cleaned up after the work was done.
