I am sooooo happy I listened to my Dad and went with Lockwood!! From start to finish, they are just an all around amazing company. Every person that I have dealt with has been very knowledgeable, respectful, and honest. I will be referring everyone I know to them! Do not just get one quote from a company either, get a few! Lockwood saved me so much money compared to other companies and they did an amazing job. I even left when they were at my house and came back, I trusted them in my house alone and I never do that! LOCKWOOD FURNACE COMPANY installed a new furnace for me. I sincerely wish that my knowledge of the English language was better. That way, I'd be able to elaborate on how pleased I was with every step. From Bob coming out to look at it to Andy and Zack installing it. And another thumbs up to the lady on the phone. One thing I must expound on is that there were '0' additions to the price. So in short, if you need a furnace, I highly recommend them. 2 brand names with 2 versions each.

I have been a satisfied customer for over 5 years. I had my 20 year old furnace replaced when the blower motor and heat exchanger showed problems during a routine maintenance inspection. I got a thorough explanation of my options and had an estimate in about 2 hours. The installers were very professional and answered all my questions. Lockwood has been around forever and has a great reputation. I highly recommend them.

They were on time, professional, and considerate. The lead tech explained what they were going to do, gave me an idea of the time involved, and when possible, gave me options (mostly cosmetic). The price was less than expected and when finished, the landscape looked untouched, except for the bare space left by the old Rheem. The York AC was a perfect fit for our York furnace...no extra space required

Great customer service. Very dependable . I’ve been using them for years. I always use Dave who does a great job keeping my Heating and Air conditioning systems going. He’s very courteous and knowledgeable. Explains everything to me so I can understand and is very professional.

I woke up to a cold house and the furnace blowing cool air. I called Johansen & Anderson and explained the problem. The dispatcher thought it may be a sensor and asked if I feel comfortable cleaning the sensor in order to save me the fee for the technician visit. I did not but appreciated her attempts to save me money. She did a great job scheduling the call so my Saturday was not ruined waiting for an unknown arrival time. When the technician arrived, he was courteous and professional. Sure enough it was a sensor. The tech even showed me how to clean it in order to save me money in the future. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and highly recommend them!

Called them to come service an apartment building we purchased in new lenox. They were the original installers of the boiler, so naturally I called them first as they are familiar with system. Lady on phone said they will not come service their own boiler because it may be costly?!? We manage several hundred units and this is the first time I ever had a response like that. She literally said it might be too expensive. I would say to anyone considering this company that after install they may never come back if something goes wrong. Extremely unprofessional, how do you run a business with a response like that? We will call someone else but disappointing that the original installer will not honor their own work.

The staff is very pleasant, from Michelle (the phone dispatcher) to Jorge (the tech) who came to my home. They were upfront about all costs and fees, so there were no surprises. Jorge was very thorough in his work. We have used Johansen & Anderson several times over the past 20 years and have always had a positive experience.

If you need emergency work, you will want to call Johansen. Our worker, Jose was thorough, quick, and competent. He had our air handler problem fixed in the middle of a heat wave on a Saturday. So grateful that he was able to come out and help us. Thank you!

Very impressive...I called and within the hour Scott arrived. I hoped just a bad capacitor was needed. He quickly diagnosed and luckily it was in fact a faulty cap. In 30 mins he has the AC compressor working again and was both friendly and professional. The cost was extremely fair and reasonable especially for such immediate service. I will surely recommend J&A to family and friends. Thank you very much!

The installation was seamless. The installer’s were professional, respected our home, very clean and any mess they may have made was cleaned up before they left the house. Including my family, we have been customers of Johansen & Anderson for over 50 years and that will continue for years to come.

Of course my furnace broke down on the coldest day of the year. The technician was knowledgeable while troubleshooting the reason my furnace wasn't working properly. The repair was in the circuit board. The tech. went to the business and picked up a circuit board, not sure if it would be compatible. The option if it didn't work was full replacement maybe by Wed. due to the holiday the next 2 days. God Bless it did work. Thanks we have been nice and warm since. You are the best!!!

This is my first internet review ever. The service I received today from Tony and Jason was so exceptional that I won’t consider calling anyone else in the future. We had another company come out on Tuesday for our yearly clean and check. They claimed to have found a gas leak, shut down our furnace, and then left us with outrageous quotes for repair or replacement and a cold house. I knew we needed a 2nd opinion and a coworker recommended Johansen & Anderson. Tony’s quote for a replacement furnace was thousands less than the other company. He also sent Jason out to confirm a gas leak before proceeding with replacing the furnace. Jason checked for a gas leak and any other major issues. Ultimately, he didn’t find a leak and recommended that we NOT replace our furnace at this time. Who does that these days? I can’t thank you guys enough for your integrity!

Our air conditioned recently stopped working, had another HVAC company come out and quote me $3,000 for a repair, then recommended I replace the entire system. I opted to get another opinion from J&A, turns out all I needed was a new fuse - drastically less expensive. I would recommend the professionalism and honesty of J&A to anyone!

My air conditioner on the outside of my house wouldn’t stop running. It was after 5:00pm on September 2, 2023.
I called Johansen and Anderson regarding the problem.
They relayed the message to the service technician on duty Luis. He called me within 2 minutes after I hung up from the
Emergency phone service. Luis said he could come right over. He was here in a half hour. He was very professional, polite, and fixed the problem in no time at all. He made sure the air was turned on and turned off before he left. We used the air conditioner the next day and had been running fine ever since he left.
Luis deserves a raise for the excellent service he provided.
