Horrible customer service by branch manager Mike . This pos had the Audacity to raise his voice at me or nobody was arguing as I voice my opinion on the stock of parts that they were missing from a failure that occurred a week After I installed a furnace that they did not have parts for . Tradesman save your time and aggravation go to a different branch ! It’s not what you say it’s how you say it MIKE ! On another note you were not groomed how presentable should a counter person be? At least comb your gray hair and for the love of god shave you look like a bum!

No Support over holidays left numerous messages via text message customer where willing to open a branch but never returned one after hours request. Called Monday been on hold since 830am for 1.5 hours no one answers. I would recommend using the other distributors. (Munchs, TEC, Birkheimer) Where all very responsive. I would never use a rheem/rudd product because of this ever

Mark shouldn't be answering phones at this company. Rude as hell. Heard his inaccurate version of what I was telling him...In fact, I was trying to give him business that could have totaled to about $10K. Your loss.

Dutchman has replaced our furnace and ac over the last 3 years and we have been very happy with their work. The service people are friendly, knowledgeable and make sure everything is taken care of. Very reliable! Today they replaced our water heater and did a great job, they were here right away. Impressive company, the responded to our emergency right away.

Matt did a great job servicing our furnace. He was fast efficient and very courteous.

Jose was my tech for my furnace check up. Jose was extremely nice and explained everything when he found my blower motor not working properly.

All of the techs and staff at Dutchman are super courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. In addition to getting a new HVAC system installed, we really enjoy their maintenance program twice a year. They keep our system at peek performance as if it were their own. We had a tech named Andrew come to our home on 7/21/25 to repair our air conditioner and he was simply wonderful! Very knowledgeable, courteous and he explained things so we could understand what the problems were. We have had Andrew come over before and he is just a nice person. He also treated my husband (who has dementia) with compassion, which is difficult sometimes because my husband is very slow.
So grateful for Dutchman! And thankful to be cool in this weather.

Dutchman recently installed a Mitsubishi mini-split system as part of a home addition and we are extremely happy with the result!

In the beginning we weren’t sure what equipment would meet our needs. I called Dutchman and made an appointment, and Mike Bakker (the owner) came to our house to assess our addition and its HVAC needs. He explained the difference between a mini-split and a PTAC, and offered his thoughts on which was the best solution for us. We talked about equipment location, and what to expect from both a noise perspective as well as aesthetics of the equipment. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and answered all our questions as well as educating us on our options.

We decided on a mini-split, which is a heat pump unit consisting of a compressor unit located outside of our addition, and an interior unit inside the addition. We set up an installation date and Mike arranged for three installers to perform the installation. All three men were courteous and professional, and over the course of the day they installed the exterior compressor unit and the wall mounted interior unit, always checking with us to ensure the locations were as we expected and addressing any questions we had along the way. The installation went smoothly, and when they were done, they explained the operation and use of the controls, as well as maintenance and cleaning needs.

This is the first time we had used Dutchman, and both me and my wife were very impressed with the level of service as well as the end result. The mini-split is whisper quiet, and looks great in the addition. We’ve been using it for about a week now, and the heat it provides on cold mornings quickly warms the addition in a matter of minutes. We haven’t tried the cooling feature, but expect it to perform just as well.

Dutchman filled out the product registration for us, extending the manufacturer's warranty, and followed up after installation to make sure we were happy. Mike takes a lot of pride in his company, and we always felt we were in the best of hands. We’ll be using Dutchman to maintain the unit, and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for other HVAC needs as well.

Had a quote to replace heating and a/c. The salesman was very knowledgeable and professional. I didn’t use them because they were overpriced. I got 4 quotes and they were the highest by a lot.
