On November 4th, I reached out to Northside Plumbing for a leaking upstairs master shower. A technician came, assessed the situation quickly, and informed us that the shower would need to be replaced. We agreed, and the next day received a quote: $5,867 for the shower, $260 for the faucet, and $1,303 for a glass door. The shower installation was scheduled for Monday, November 25th, with completion on Wednesday, November 27th.

Initially, everything went well—the shower was installed and looked great. Later that day, the glass company arrived but informed us that Northside Plumbing had provided incorrect dimensions, and the door didn’t fit. They promised a rush order for delivery the following week.

After Thanksgiving, I heard nothing from Northside Plumbing. I called on Tuesday, December 3rd, and the representative had no idea the shower wasn’t finished. He promised the installer would call me. By that afternoon, the installer called, apologizing and explaining his frustration with the glass company. He assured me the door would arrive by the end of the workweek. However, no updates came throughout the week.

On Friday, December 6th, I received an invoice from Northside Plumbing, but no communication about the door. I replied that I wouldn’t pay until the door was installed. On Monday, December 9th, I called again, and the representative promised the installer would get back to me. Hours later, the installer called, mostly defending the glass company and stating that he would personally ensure the door was installed by the end of the week. Still, no updates came.

On Thursday, December 12th, my husband called the glass company directly, and they promised the glass would be delivered on December 16th, with installation scheduled for December 17th. The glass company arrived on the 17th, but the first door didn’t fit, so they returned to their shop to find a suitable one. By the afternoon, they successfully installed the door.

Northside Plumbing never reached out to follow up, leaving us to work directly with the glass company. In total, it took 43 days without a shower and 22 days for the project to complete. What should’ve been a three-day job turned into a month-long ordeal. The only reason the project was finished at all was due to bypassing Northside Plumbing and contacting the glass company directly.

Northside Plumbing’s communication was abysmal, and their lack of follow-up was frustrating. While the shower installation itself was flawless, the overall experience was a disaster. Northside Plumbing should reevaluate how they operate because their incompetence, or potential obstruction, was unacceptable.

Nick Fowler from North side plumbing & heating replaced our sewer pump last week and I’m extremely pleased with the job. He was very professional, did a great & a tidy job replacing the sewer pump ,and cleaning up after himself. Will request for him and use North side plumbing again for any future plumbing needs. 👍🏼

Highly recommend plumber Nick from Northside Plumbing. He worked hard and very thoroughly to get our battery back up sump pump installed and went above and beyond.

The people who work here are very knowledgeable and if you take an old part they will tell you what it is and what is needed to make the necessary repairs.
They are also competitively priced.
Unless it is off hours, skip the big box stores and go to these guys.

I was called to see if they could come early & I was available so I figured why not. Sean & Kevin were very efficient, completely replacing my washer box in about an hour. A job I expected to take all day was done before my original appointment time even started!

Nick was awesome. Replaced my sump pump, back up pump and a toilet today and he was very thorough and professional. Have some more work that needs to be done and will 100% call them again to do it and will request Nick.

We had Northside Plumbing & Heating come to our home to clear a kitchen sink drain. We left a message with the company on Sunday evening and they arrived at our house promptly at 9:00am Monday morning. Shawn was extremely personable and professional and efficiently worked to clear the drain in record time! We would highly recommend the company and have used them for past issues. I don't know what kind of company this is. Called them up to send someone out to do a estimate to get some busted water pipes fixed. They sent a guy out to inspect and now it's been almost a week since then and still no estimate. I call and all they say is it's been busy. How can you do an inspection without given them their estimate. If you didn't want to do the job just say so. I have been without water for almost 2 weeks now. 1 week just waiting on this company. Lousy customer relations. Do not recommend them.

We have a very old tub and the faucets attached were leaking and literally falling apart. Nick was very professional and took extra care to replace our faucets the most affordable option possible without having to rip it all out and being more costly. We really appreciated him explaining everything as he went along. Nick is amazing and we will ask for him next time we need any plumbing services.

I would recommend Northside any day! I originally called because my kitchen sink was clogged and was dripping at one junction that I couldn’t fix myself. Shaun was great and fixed that quickly and efficiently! While he was here, I asked him about a different problem that we had been having with a smell that I thought was coming from a floor drain or the water heater. I had asked the company that installed the water heater multiple times about it and had received a variety of answers that all amounted to them honestly just brushing it off and us just having to deal with it. Shaun gladly looked at the issue, which ended up actually being the drain of my washer, and within 10 minutes (max) had the problem identified and a solution in the works. I cannot express how excited we are to have a solution and not have to deal with the smell anymore!! I’ve worked with Northside a couple other times before and they have always been personable, efficient, helpful and willing to do what it takes to get everything right. I will definitely be working with them in the future if the need arises!

Side note, I first heard about Northside at the little league park because they are a team sponsor. As a former coach I can tell you that sponsors mean the world to youth leagues. And, in turn, it means a lot to be able to support those local businesses that give back to our community!

We had a main drain that was backed up. When I called I asked about using a camera pricing etc.. they ran into problems at another job so we needed to wait a few days which was ok. Since it wasn’t causing any major issues at the moment. When the service guy came out I confirmed that we wanted a camera used. He said he would need to clean out the drain and then run the camera which would take @ 1/2-1 hr. 2 1/2 hrs later he had the drain unplugged however we never received the images which was the main reason we hired someone else to come out. We are greatly disappointed as we didn’t get the service we requested and payed them quite a bit of money.

Rob was extremely professional and courteous, got the job done in a timely manner. We would definitely use him and roto rooter again. Rob is an asset to the company. Five stars to him

My sub pump went out last night and called this morning to get it fixed or replaced. The company sent someone (NICK) over first thing in the morning. He was a very nice person, friendly, and professional. He let me know what the problem was and gave a quote before he started installing. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do and what he did after. He cleaned up his area and took all the old broken stuff with him! I would definitely recommend this company and NICK as your Guy! Thank you for the speedy service!

Rob quoted me a price and stuck to it!!! I've had experiences with companies that try to upsell additional services, mostly not needed. Rob was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable.
