Have worked with B&W / Homesense for the last 10 years. Always had a great experience. Specifically love working with Darren. He’s extremely knowledgeable and really takes the time to educate us on the best ways to maximize and care for our HVAC systems.

B&W is awesome! I’ve been using them since 2017, when they installed my new HVAC system. They come out twice a year (paid subscription) to make sure everything is in proper working order. Just had a great furnace service today. I will continue to work with them! Thank you Max, Nathan, and B&W!!

During my routine maintenance on my furnace, I was let down by my HVAC company and left with no heat and no plan to fix the furnace knowing that we would have sub zero temps within 48 hours! I called B&W at 3:30pm on Thursday and explained the situation. They had someone out by noon the next day and determined that I did not need parts after all and that a bracket was bent during the previous service call that was preventing the pressure switches from grounding. So, we saved over $500 and got the furance fixed during the same service call with B&W. And, I did not need new parts! I will be signing up with them and highly recommend the B&W service crew as well as the office personnel. Great company!

I used B&W for the first time and have finally found a reliable plumber !!! Got home from out of town and my sump pump was making loud humming noise like it was running but not emptying the pit. Dave came out and diagnosed the issue and a new sump pump was needed. There was also another major issue because the outside drainage pipe was frozen and there is no access under my new deck. He resolved the drainage issue with a temporary solution. I could not be happier !!! Dave is experienced, professional, friendly and communicated everything so I knew his plan and cost. Both Dave and Jeffry were hard working, polite and respected my home. I will use them for all future plumbing needs and I will recommend to my friends.

We purchased B&W's maintanence club in June 2025 which essentially included two HVAC tune ups, 10% discount on any repairs and filters to be included as clearly laid out on contract. On the first service, the tech asked if the filter was included so he went to the store to purchase. However, on the winter maintenance, the tech explained the company stopped providing filters back in October 2025. Our contract with them is one year and it was supposed to cover the filters for 2 maintenance visits. When we called, they stood firm on their decision that no filter will be given based on a new policy even though it was contrary to the terms of our contract. I talked to Chuck and he just dismissed what was written on contract- said "he had to draw a line in the sand". It was not even about the filter anymore, it was the issue of HONORING what was written on the contract when we signed it and paid for it. The winter tech empathized with our concern but was unable to fix the management level issue.
If B&W can not honor this basic component of their contract, what will they do if there was a more serious concern. The fact that they explained they have had similar concersations about filters with 2,500 customers says everything. I could understand adjusting the terms at renewal after the contract is satisfied, but this action breaks the trust moving forward.

I had a sump pump issue that could have been a disaster. I called B&W and that same day they sent out Mitchell Stone. Mitchell came and quickly assessed the cause of the issue. Mitchell is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and left the area better than he found it! Sump pump issue is resolved and a disaster was avoided!

It was determined by Citizens Gas that I had a leak inside my home and I called B&W for help. They arrived not long after I called, found and repaired the leak. The guys were very professional and personable. I thank them for their quick response and knowledge of the issue.
I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Hi, just wanted to post another good experience with B&W Plumbing and heating. They quickly came and got a sewer line unclogged at my house in Indianapolis. I like the way they notify before arrival and include the name and photo pf the service rep. They have handled our properties in Speedway for over 13 years. Definitely recommend B&W. Philip

One year ago Homesense put in a new furnace and air conditioner for me. They were great. Today Maxwell came out to do the yearly maintenance on my furnace and he couldn’t have been nicer. He was very professional and explained everything he was going to do. I couldn’t be happier. For once I finally feel like I have found a company I can totally trust and depend on.

Every service man I've ever had is full of wisdom knowledge kindness compassion and understanding to make a perfect employee and a huge difference on their other employees I think they deserve a raise. Just saying I'm pleased. God bless maybe they deserve a bonus some kind of recognition. Peace

We’ll be giving thanks for Plumber Dave and his big, beautiful black truck this Thanksgiving! He was happy to come replace our leaking water heater on a Sunday afternoon, so that the work would be complete before our out of town holiday visitors arrive Monday. A pleasure to work with. Great communication, prompt and took time to talk through other plumbing questions I had as well. Thank you Dave and team!

Chas was out to complete my semi-annual maintenance on my furnace. Chas was really friendly & engaging, taking time to explain everything I needed to know about my 20-year-old furnace and humidifier! She was thorough in the tuneup and very respectful of our home! I’m definitely keeping B&W HomeSense as my Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical provider!

From setting the appointment to the finished work, I can highly recommend Plumber Dave and Jeff as well as the staff. Plumber Dave understood my Kohler products. He was efficient and went above and beyond the original request of faucets replacements by fixing another plumber’s poor work. I highly recommend this company and Plumber Dave. He and Jeff even gave my rambunctious puppy some attention 🤗

We had our HVAC system replaced by B&W and the process couldn’t have been easier! Steve didn’t waste our time trying to sell us on more expensive equipment like other companies have. He took a few measurements and pictures, talked to us for about 15 minutes and sent us a quote on what we said we were looking for. He also informed us about all of the financing options available. Ben and Angelo installed the equipment the following week. They were very professional, considerate and finished up in one day. I would definitely recommend using this company to anyone in need of a new HVAC system!

I have a service agreement for AC and furnace tune-ups with B&W. I called them yesterday when my furnace started blowing cold air. Max and Ben stopped by later that day and got everything working again along with giving me some advice on filters and general upkeep. These folks do really great work, and I recommend the service agreement to everyone. Going to be reaching out to them about some plumbing work next!

I've used Plumber Dave with B&W for a LONG time (you see their black and orange trucks everywhere! Can't miss them) and he is the BEST! Always on time, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Great service for our annual furnace check. We ended up needing it cleaned and Blake took a picture to show us why it was necessary. We received phone calls letting us know when he was on his way within the appropriate time frame and the process from payment to scheduling was very easy.

I have been a customer with Home sense since buying our house in 2020. They provide great service every time they are here. They also installed a whole new HVAC system in 2023. I would highly recommend them

I highly recommend B&W! They came highly recommended from a colleague at work. While another plumbing company quoted me thousands of dollars to redo the whole upstairs bathroom due to a leak, B&W came out and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours. Since then, I’ve signed up for their home (furnace, plumbing, electrical) maintenance program and love their work. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

Recently had to have weekend service for a heater that quit and the Max was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and communicated very well. We were very fortunate to have had a service technician who knew how to fix the problem and handle getting parts on the weekend.
