We had an emergency at my short term rental property and L.D.Smith Plumbing was able to come out, diagnose and fix the problem so the guests could stay in the home. It was an expensive fix but it had to be done and I’m glad they could fix it asap.

I’m super satisfied with their service, especially last year. I had a bit of a problem with my sump pump. They came and replaced it for free, but they only charged for the labor.
Yesterday, My backup sample activated , and I called them right away. They arrived within a day and explained everything to me. If anything goes wrong, They’re going to replace it, and I’m super happy about it so far!

We have a plumbing maintenance plan with LD Smith. Wesley M. has come to our house last year and again recently to perform an annual flush of our tankless water heater. He is professional, personable, and does great work. I would recommend Wesley and LD Smith for any household plumbing needs.

David worked quickly & efficiently. He was honest & transparent about the “worst case scenario,” although it wasn’t the case. Plus—he was thoroughly nice to talk to!

We have used LD Smith several times, and their work has been excellent. This time we needed them to replace our water heater that was leaking. We were in a bind since we were leaving on vacation in two days. They went out of their way to fit us in the schedule, and Mark did a great job in the installation, as well as reconnecting our water softener. Can’t say enough good things about their work!

Wes was my serviceman. He is a skillful technician and wonderful guy overall. Wes is knowledgeable, patient, communicative, and tailors the repair to the job AND customer needs. Wes walked me through several repair options and even considered additional options based on questions I had that were non specific to the repair type.

I had LD Smith Plumbing repair a leak in my hot water pipes below the slab floor. Nick and his partner were courteous, professional, and got the job done in a few hours. Even though they had to run a jackhammer in my kitchen to get at the leak, they had it exposed, repaired, and new concrete in place within a few hours with minimal mess and disruption. They cleaned up after themselves and finished up the job by delivering all the paperwork I needed for my insurance company. Top notch!

I had a wonderful experience working with Mason. He could diagnose the probably immediately and was swift in action. He was easy to talk to and upfront about everything.

Our technician, Nick, was great. He showed up on time, looked at our problem, answered our questions, and fixed the faucet. He was upbeat, knowledgeable, and professional.

Our plumber, Jacob, was polite, knowledgeable, and very pleasant overall. He explained what he was doing carefully and thoroughly, and spent some time educating me about how the repair would be done and how the equipment worked so that I could make adjustments if I wished. I appreciated his willingness to perform a repair rather than replacement.

We were in a major pinch with no hot water. LD Smith came through when we needed them and replaced 2 hot water heaters and reconfigured our plumbing for better efficiency! The LD Smith team did a great job. I highly recommend them.

I called as my plumber was no longer working in the area. I had several things that needed to be done. Toilet needed a stronger flush, kitchen sink had a grease clog, shower head ball joint frozen, outside picket needed replacing, re attach hose that was leaking. When I called to make an appointment the girl said that I could tell the plumber when he came to the house. 2 young guys showed up at my house. The one guy said they didn't do drains and another division of the company would have to come out. The girl who scheduled the appointment failed to mention that! He just adjusted the water pressure in the back of the tank. He did get the ball joint off the shower and put on a new shower head. He would not clean out my shower drain. We went outside and he did re attach the hose on the outside faucet. He had an iPad. I asked him what everything would cost. He had a smirk on his face. My bill was $164. I was kind of shocked as they were not able to do many of the things I needed. I paid the bill anyway thinking I could negotiate later. Big mistake. I never got a copy of the bill. I did call the office once my credit card came through. The office manager Jessica gave me a hard time for even questioning the bill. She threw it back in my face and came off like an agressive bully. I have to laugh every time I drive past their billboard in Broad Ripple. It says they pipe, they pipe it real good. Well I felt like I had been piped but it does not refer to plumbing. Thanks for ripping me off and for misleading me when I booked the appointment.

I want to clarify first that the person who worked with us was very kind and doing his job and fixed our problem. Otherwise it would be 1 star.

Me and my husband didn’t have hot water going to our shower, everywhere else in the house was fine. We were quoted $600 for parts and labor stating it was a high quality part. We paid half up front and they came in swiftly two days later to replace. My husband was there for the replacement. He was told a gasket in the original part was simply stuck. They replaced the part even though my husband asked and they clarified that the original part probably was working fine. The part itself is $80 dollars. I feel like we got ripped off. Would have much preferred to keep our original part if it was such a simple fix like a gasket stuck and we didn’t need an entirely new piece. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank you for fixing our problem, but I wish more consideration was put into how we would feel about having a part that isn’t broken being replaced for a quick buck. Get your bag, though. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am very happy with Dave’s work to repair my toilet. It was a complicated issue, which he was able to repair without doing more costly work. He explained what would need to be done in the future, but was able to fix my immediate problem quickly and at a very reasonable prize.

Nick did a great job servicing our water heater. He was friendly and was upfront with us before he began repairing the water heater. We were satisfied with his work.

LD Smith Plumbing sent Mason to my house to help us with a plumbing issue that we were having. Mason presented himself well and communicated effectively. I felt comfortable with the resolution and would definitely have LD come back out when it is time to replace our water heater. Thanks for the pleasant and knowledgeable LD representatives!

Jacob was on time, communicated well, friendly, respectful and got a part to be fixed under warranty for us (though we didn’t realize it was under warranty). He also replaced our backup sump battery that was at the end of its life. I’d highly recommend LD Smith and Jacob.
