Nick Kern was very thorough & professional. Toilet replacement options and pricing clearly explained. He was able to pick up the selected toilet & install it the same day....he even cleaned the tile underneath the old toilet before installing the new one :)

Issac and AJ arrived on time, and were courteous, knowledgeable and did a great job replacing our old gas water heater which was leaking with a new Rheem 50 gallon water heater. They cleaned everything up after the work was done. Very pleased with their work.

I had a leaking Flushmaster in my old toilet. They replaced the toilet with a new one. Took away the old one. Very nice guy did the work. Work was very professional. Couldn’t ask for more.

Nick showed up early within the time window. I explained my water issue. Immediately he explained how it could be fixed. Took extra time with details connected to original leak. Very good experience & Nick was really customer focused.
Will definitely call again if I have other plumbing needs.

We moved to L. D. Smith plumbing after our prior plumber shut down. L. D. Smith has been wonderful to work with having replaced our sump pump/back up
battery, installed our tankless water heater and replaced our master shower system. Their team has always been professional, on time, clean, knowledgeable and done great work. They are honest and no pressure. Would highly recommend them.

After years of workmen coming to my house and many of them disappointing, I was so VERY HAPPY AND RELIEVED when I saw the work that L D Plumbing & Drains did for me! Wes and Nick came out to my home and repaired the broken pipe in my meter pit. Their work is impeccable. Their professionalism is impressive. Their efficiency and timeliness is spot on! That’s why I went with LD. They did not.
We got on the schedule to have the work done thanks to the office staff. Our well water stopped working and that was super stressful.
Austin was knowledgeable about replacing the well pressure tank. And answered all of my questions. The whole team was very polite.

I was extremely impressed with Nick and his professionalism and honesty in dealing with a plumbing issue I had recently. He took the time to explain what types of issues my old home might face down the road. I will definitely be calling this company again.

After years of dealing with tree roots taking over my sewer line I had L.D. Smith Plumbing come out to evaluate and quote me on replacing the line. Joe was so thorough with the camera evaluation and explanation, more so than anyone else has been. From the beginning of scheduling with Devyn, to obtaining all the certificates necessary with the town, to the actual work with Trevor and his crew it all could not have been handled any better. This was a big project that was completed with care to my yard and flower beds. All the young men were so knowledgeable keeping me informed and taking pictures throughout the job. Additionally I had my old water heater replaced and a new kitchen faucet installed and Zach did a great job. Definitely recommend L.D. Smith Plumbing and will be a repeat customer for further plumbing needs.

Wes is a true professional in every sense of the word. The work he did for us was flawless everything was absolutely 100% installed and quality of the items installed. He improved what was already a very well done project and he made some adjustments to make our system run even more efficiently. The service we received was exceptional. We would absolutely hire LD Smith and Wes back again. And absolutely fantastic experience all the way around.

Mason did a great job! He was knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I appreciated how comfortable he made the whole process. While my issue wasn’t fully resolved, he offered options I could try. They also gave me a courtesy inspection, which I really appreciated. I would gladly use their services again in the future.

We have had L.D. Smith do one huge repair for us which included replacing the sewer line all the way from the house to the alley behind the house. This required digging 10 ft into the ground for about 50 ft. They had to remove our patio. They did the work perfectly with the greatest most polite technicians we could have asked for. Recently we had to have them replace a pump on a wastewater cistern. They came out and did the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend working with this company. They have always taken great care of us.

I had a superlative experience with L.D. Smith on an exterior water main shut-off replacement and internal shut-off valve replacement and repair. This was performed through a UtilityShield claim (now run through HomeServe).

First things first... I tried other companies, and even big names (aka Gluf Plumbing), thought that repairing a water shut off in the water main pit wasn't "code" or "frowned upon" by Citizens Energy. This is simply not true.

Second, L.D. Smith managed to work with HomeServe, so they must have the patience of a saint. Home warranty companies are nearly universally bad in my experience.

Third - and most importantly - both the folks L.D. Smith sent out were timely, professional, and broke things down to me in a way I could understand.

Last, if you have a commercial repair, I would give these people your money over other folks in town, that's for sure.

Trevor, Russell and Micah installed an external clean out for us. They also did a two-direction sewer cleaning and a camera inspection. They did a meticulous job and went above and beyond in making sure that we won’t continue to have main drain backups. Thanks guys! See you next Spring.

Very positive experiences this week with 3 visits from L.D. Smith plumbers. First, Tim came out regarding a slow floor drain. He was thorough and helpful in explaining my options. Next, Jacob was here to replace the kitchen faucet and one of the water shutoff valves. His work was great and he gave extra effort in his cleanup of the existing hard water stains. 2 days later Tim returned with Mark to perform the drain cleaning. Their work was excellent. Mark then stayed to talk over some other plumbing concerns in my 100 year old house and was very helpful. He followed up by emailing estimates for each of these. It is a good feeling to know where to turn for plumbing issues.

We recently had our clay tile break apart in our sewer system running under our bi-level home.
After contacting several different companies to determine who we felt would do the best job for us, at a reasonable price, we settled on LD Smith, plumbing. It was the right choice. We worked closely with Joe Garza. He was extremely understanding and concerned about our Being able to use the sewer system as quickly as possible. He stayed in touch with us while they were working on it and followed through to make sure we were happy.

It was not an easy job since they had to tear up the concrete floor in our bedroom. They completed the job In three days. Their workmen were fantastic to work with, they were respectful and went out of their way to determine a workaround for a surprise situation.

We would recommend their services to anyone without any hesitation.
