DO NOT BUY A HOME PLUMBED BY RT MOORE OR HIRE THEM FOR PLUMBING. RT Moore plumbed my brand new house, and within a week of moving in, we’ve found multiple huge issues. They connected my exterior line to my main line and the refrigerator line to the hose bib shutoff. They labeled my water softener rough-in backwards and now are unwilling to take responsibility for the issue and refund me anything for the $1000 I’ve paid toward a water softener and install that are now defective. They do not stand behind their work and are unwilling to take responsibility for plumbing my house incorrectly.

Sam and Peter from RT Moore arrived at my home to take care of a water leak. They diagnosed the problem, informed me what it was and fixed it. They were professional, efficient and courteous. They were polite and patient with my many questions. I have no doubt who I will call again if I need any work done. And I'll let anyone know that too that needs a recommendation.

Kim, a senior technician arrived on time and got to work immediately! He was super professional and polite and identified the problem right away. RT Moore originally installed the plumbing when my house was built and did a fantastic job, this was my first issue in 5 years. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They were the installers for Pulte Homes. House built 2020. They have made 3 calls regarding my hot water heater..and water softener for improper installation. called them yesterday as no hot water, was leaking, and corroded (less than 2.5years old).. their response was sorry, earliest we can come is Nov 1st..I said.. it’s leaking, and no hot water.. response is sorry, we don’t have techs.. Nov 1st is best we can do. Called a competitor, had a tech in 4 hours, and replaced in 24hrs. Will not use them again

Our toilets were making lots of noise so we called RT Moore for assistance. The booking process was easy and the customer service people were helpful and efficient. Luke, our assigned plumber, called the day of our appointment to let us know he was on the way. When he arrived he introduced himself and asked me to describe the problem. He quickly inspected our toilets and diagnosed it as failing fill valves. He provided a cost estimate and indicated he could replace them. After replacing the valves he showed me how to adjust them and gave me some things to watch for over the next few weeks. The cost was reasonable, the problem was addressed and the job work had a warranty. Luke was pleasant, knowledgeable, very respectful of our property and took appropriate Covid precautions while on premise. I would use RT Moore and ask for Luke again for future needs.

Wow! What an EXCELLENT customer service experience I had this morning with Luke! He arrived right on time, was professional and efficient and did an excellent job to correct my issue in the laundry room! He explained what he had done and answered all of my questions including a question about an issue I have with my kitchen faucet. He immediately looked into it for me and went the "second mile" in Customer Service by helping me understand how the touch faucet system worked and then helped me correct it. I told him he would make a great teacher b/c he courteously validated all my questions (I had a lot!) and made sure I understood. Because of his expertise & kindness, I will soon be calling R. T. Moore to ask for a plumbing upgrade feature he told me about in my new home. Luke is an incredible asset to your company and your brand! I wish I could give him 10 stars!!!

The repair personnel at RT Moore are truly the best! I had extensive work done on my heating/cooling system earlier this summer. The technicians respond quickly, they thoroughly explain the problem and options for the repair, complete repairs quickly, and are clean and courteous while working. I would recommend RT Moore.

Kurt was professional, knowledgeable and overall pleasant to have as our technician. He built rapport with us while also completing the job in a timely manner. Ask for Kurt!

We have used RT Moore several times over the years for our plumbing needs and have always been pleased with the service. We had them back out today and our technician Jacob was knowledgeable, polite, and fixed our issues quickly. We have continued to experience great customer service and full resolution to our plumbing issues over the years.

Two stars because we did have RT Moore out to do some work a few years ago and all went well. Unfortunately not so much the second time and it all boils down to communication. I called on Wednesday 12/27/23 because we had a pipe leaking out of our basement ejector pit. We had an event happening at our house Friday night 12/29/23 which I told them so I was pleased they said they could be at our house between 12-4pm on Thursday 12/28/23. At about 3:45 on Thursday, I still had not heard from anyone so I called the office just to double check they were still coming. I was told the technician got stuck at a house with a big plumbing issue and it was taking longer than expected which was certainly understandable. I was told, however, that even though he would be later than the 12-4 window, he would still be coming on Thursday. Late afternoon turned to evening and nobody ever showed up or called to say they weren't coming. I fully suspected I would at least get a call from them on Friday morning and that they would be at my house early Friday. By 10am I decided to just call them myself. I was told there was a "scheduling conflict" and that they now could not come until Tuesday 1/2/24. In the meantime, I called another company Friday at 10am and had the problem fixed by 3:30pm, just in time for our Friday night gathering. A little communication goes a long way. A no call, no show is just not okay, and pushing a customer out 5 more days after a no call, no show just makes it worse.

RT Moore plumbed my new house and now for the second week raw sewage is backing up in my house and the response has been insulting.

Service Technician, Jeff Funk, arrived with a smile and a very pleasant attitude. He efficiently repaired our toilet and discussed with us the possibility of getting a water softener from R.T. Moore. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and expertise. We will certainly request Jeff, if we need additional services from R.T. Moore.

Another excellent experience with the plumbing side of RT Moore. The failure of the hot water heater was quickly diagnosed and repaired. Technician response time was prompt and efficient. RT Moore did all the plumbing, hardware and installation, in my production home. I recommend them highly. Also, know just how bad Indiana hard water is on your house if you don't have a water softener. New stuff can degrade quickly without one.

Service technician Austin did an exceptional job setting up the new water heater. His assistant was great as well.
They definitely deserve a pay raise.
Will definitely recommend RT home to all my friends going forward.

No one ever wants to deal with home repairs. The very thought of who's the right company to contact, how much will it be, and how efficient the technician will be floods my mind. So, when I reached out to RT Moore, I wasn't too sure what to expect, but they completely surpassed my expectations. When the work order was submitted, I was contacted immediately and a repair visit was scheduled.

Mr. Large called me first to let me know of his eta and even via phone wanted a first hand understanding of what the job entailed to make sure he was properly prepared. When he arrived, he was so pleasant and cheerful. He made me feel at ease working on the issue. His professionalism was unmatched and something I've never experienced before. He not only worked on the issue, but explained what he was doing and why (something he didn't have to do.) He even educated me on how to prevent issues in the future and ways to improve my plumbing system.

I truly appreciate all the help from Mr. Large and I will always go to RT Moore for my future needs. If you ever need help with any and all things plumbing ask for Mr. Large, he's the absolute best!

    Stay Away!

If you must engage with this company, record every phone call and document every interaction—they will deny what they previously said without hesitation.
See what their service manager, Jacob, officially responded me through Email when I confronted him with his untrustworthy.

"I am the Service Manager. I am not going to give you my boss’s contact information."
"I am more than willing to explain to the BBB what happened as well."

They arrived and performed a visual inspection that lasted less than 20 minutes for a bathroom leak, then immediately handed me a $278 bill. I disputed the charge and what they concluded, and the service manager, Jacob, stated they would return for a second visit free of charge, with the understanding that if nothing was found again, I would then pay the $278 on site—which I did.

Later, my builder agreed to cover the first bill, and I would pay the second, based on Jacob's promise that the second visit would be free. That’s when the situation became a nightmare.

Jacob denied ever saying I was responsible for the second bill and instead claimed I was paying the first. When I reminded him of his original statement—“first bill is $278, second bill is $189” I paid $278, not $189—he changed his story again, insisting now that the second bill was also $278.

When I asked for Jacob's supervisor’s contact information, his written response was:

"I am not going to give you my boss’s contact information."
"I am more than willing to explain to the BBB what happened as well."

What kind of service manager responds to a customer like this?

Summary: Avoid this company. If you must work with them, record and document everything. Their lack of accountability and shifting stories are unacceptable and unprofessional.

We had a sewer back up in a 2 month old brand new house. When RT Morre came to the rescue they also noticed the water heater did not meet Indiana code. Everyone who came out to the rescue over a 2 day period(Trevor, Jeff, Kurt and Jackson) all did an amazing job coming up with a solution to help us. Everyone was very informative and patient with all of our questions. We were very impressed with all the knowledge and great customer service. Thank you!

We highly recommend RT Moore and the team of men who came out to help us!

They installed our water heater and it never worked right. Several R.T. Moore technicians have looked at it and it still doesn't work. We had a different company look at it and they pointed out how things we're installed backwards. Do not use them unless you are very comfortable with professional incompetence.

On 11/4 our water heater started leaking and we called RT Moore which had installed it originally 4 years ago. Austin came out very quickly and did great work. He informed us our water heater had initially been installed incorrectly and that was the cause of the leak. They replaced our water heater and didn’t charge us anything! That was great! If this review is ended here I would give them 5/5.

However, unfortunately when the technician was bringing the old water heater down our stairs he slipped and lost control causing some damage to our drywall and a picture frame. Not a big deal, we understand that accidents happen and we were just happy that he didn’t injure himself when he fell. He assured us that RT Moore would take care of the damage and that they would reach out about fixing it. We waited a few days and didn’t hear anything. We called them and they said they have an outside company do repairs/remediation and they assured us that this other company would reach out to us soon. We waited another week and still didn’t hear anything. We called them back and now they are telling us we should contact our original home builder…

I’ve gotten the impression that the person on the phone will pretty much tell us whatever we we want to hear so that we will hang up but then they don’t actually do anything about it. Feels like they are hopping we will forget about it. Would like to get this resolved soon.

It isn’t a huge repair or anything but we were told they would take care of it and they haven’t.

Purchased a new construction home through pulte. RT moor had the plumbing contract and did a terrible job. Zero craftsman ship! their solution to out of level and crooked pipes is a roll of duck tape. These are not skilled tradesman and don’t even know how to use a level tape or square. Be aware of this before allowing them to touch anything on your home. If they can’t execute the basics it’s a scary and expensive thought to what other short cuts this company takes.
