Stay away from this company. I moved into a new build they handled and there has been numerous issues. Wrong color pex, sharkbite fittings, missing plates on hose bibs, etc. Upon bringing up these issues during the building process I was given all the excuses in the world as to why they had to use sharkbites. For anyone not aware any real plumbing company would NEVER use a sharkbite fitting. They cause tons of damage, and are generally only used by handymen or plumbers looking to save a buck. I have a 1 year warranty through RT Moore, but I’d rather pay a company to come fix it then ever have them in my home again.

We had a blocked drain line. New construction. Debris was in the line. The service was Tech Charlie Maclean. He was tenacious. Never gave up to get all the material out of the line. Would highly recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Michael from RT Moore. His customer-focused approach, friendly demeanor, and impressive expertise in his field have made a significant impact every time I've needed a warranty repair. His dedication to going above and beyond does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Michael, for consistently delivering outstanding service and for your unwavering commitment to excellence.

Unresponsive and don't stand behind their work. They installed the water heaters at our home and when they both started leaking they said they couldn't come out for two weeks. The builder put us in touch with a better option and doesn't use these guys anymore. Buyer beware

RTmoore replaced our water heater, we had a small leak in the wall that developed afterwards, within a week. I sent pictures to the service manager (Jacob) who made it right for us on the same day.
As a manager, protecting the reputation of the company is important and he did that, no extra charge.
Solid recovery, earned our trust. -
Hope Plumbing presents a frustrating contradiction. Their front end field technicians are exceptional absolute superheroes who deserve five stars and instant commendation. However, the administrative back end scheduling, communication, and general customer service is so monumentally incompetent and actively antagonistic that it threatens to destroy the entire business's reputation. When a technician from Hope Plumbing arrives on site, the experience is top tier. Our complex issue was diagnosed and resolved with surgical precision and speed. The plumber was knowledgeable, professional, and left the workspace immaculate, demonstrating genuine mastery of their craft. They are truly the best in the business and the company’s only asset worth saving. Unfortunately, accessing that excellent technical help requires navigating a black hole of communication manned by the most defensive and dismissive customer service staff I have ever encountered. The scheduling process was chaotic. When calling for updates, the phone staff were condescending, defensive, and dismissive, treating the customer as an annoyance rather than a valued client. Their administrative incompetence reflects a complete disregard for the customer experience. The back office is, frankly, a liability and a disgrace to the highly skilled technicians they employ. I highly recommend the field service team with the highest possible praise, but I strongly warn any potential customer to prepare for an abysmal administrative experience. Until Hope Plumbing completely overhauls its scheduling and customer service departments, the exceptional talent of their plumbers will be wasted on clients who are alienated and infuriated by the people who answer the phone.

We have a house in Indy that we rent to our daughter. The main drain line was clogged and found that a section needed to be replaced due to tree roots. Everyone my daughter and I dealt with were very nice and professional. They were maining able to deal with her with just a couple phone calls to me to confirm things. They were very upfront about everything and even gave us photos of the problem area and also the repair during different stages of it. We will definately be using Hope Plumbing if any future needs arise and would highly suggest them to others in need of their services.

I can not stress it enough how happy I am that I met this guy . I was having a horrible day and he turned it around with his amazing energy and fast service. Shout out to both. Thank you guys for having amazing people on your staff board

Giving a 1 star rating due to sleazy, unethical sales practices.
My furnace went out Saturday night. HVAC Service guy came out on Monday afternoon and explained that it was an older unit and that I would be better off just getting a new one considering the costly repairs.
It was around 6pm when the HVAC Comfort Advisor Mario Wilson arrived, and I was on day 3 of no heat in 30 degree weather. I live in a 1,000 sq condo, and just needed a basic furnace install. No frills, no duct work, no gas line repairs or any extras. Just swapping out the existing unit. He quoted me $10,000 for that basic install.
I countered with $6,000 and he accepted without batting an eye. Based on my research, $6,000 is at the high end for what I needed, but still within the expected price range. The fact that he led with such an outrageous, over market value quote, tells me that he was taking advantage of the fact that it was freezing and I was on day 3 with no furnace.
I have no issue with companies adding a mark up and sales people making a commission, but that was just over the top. He did not even try to give me a fair market quote.
It was a very sleazy experience that leaves me feeling not great about the company. -
I hired hope plumbing to come out and replace a hot water heater and re plumb the piping.
Austin was the main tech that came out. He took his time explaining all the work he was going to do. After the job, he explained everything he did and how my hot water heater was set up now.
We had some crazy piping for our hot water heaters and he replaced all of it and cleaned it up. (See before and after pics.)
He and his partner did an outstanding job and ensured that I did not have any more questions before leaving. I highly recommend Hope Plumbing and Austin. -
My experience with Hope Plumbing has been nothing short of a nightmare — filled with miscommunication, inflated pricing, and lack of transparency.
It started with a sewage backup at my home in 2020. Hope Plumbing came out and eventually discovered that they had severed my sewer line during prior work done for my neighbor. the year before. Their technician openly admitted this during excavation. Despite that, they still billed me over $4,800 to fix damage they caused. After submitting documentation of the what went down day-by-day and conversation after conversation, they blamed the invoicing on miscommunication and refunded me the cost for their own damage....so much for specializing in older homes.
I continued my membership with them, hoping for better treatment. Big mistake. I called them recently for a free drain clearing included with my membership. They snaked the line but said it wasn’t enough and upsold me a $1,900 line jetting. Of course, in these situations when you are desperate for a solution its hard to shop around. I had them come Jet the line thinking it would solve the problem but unfortunately it didn't. They quoted me over $30,000 to replace my sewer line — and told me I’d have to pay out of pocket to cut down a tree on top of that.
Thankfully, at that point, I had enough wherewithal and I got a second opinion. Another plumbing company completed the job for under $9,000, hand-dug the entire line with minimal impact to my yard, rerouted the line, and no trees had to be removed. It was done faster, cleaner, and more honestly — everything Hope Plumbing failed to deliver.
After all of this, I’ve come to the conclusion: Hope Plumbing is not just unprofessional — they are a scam. They take advantage of customers and inflate prices nearly 3 times as much as any other company. Be very cautious. Get a second opinion. And document everything if you make the mistake of hiring them.
I would never recommend Hope Plumbing to anyone. -
Our experience was completely unsatisfacory. The salesperson who came out was shown the dual flush toilets that were to be repaired, but he recommended replacement. He said they would be top of the line toilets from their warehouse. Not only are they not top of the line, they are not dual flush. Only dual flush toilets were discussed with the salesperson, who did not show a booklet or any photos of toilets to choose from as was done in our previous dealings with Hope for faucets. He wrote up an order, asked for a signature on his ipad without showing the actual information and ordered the wrong toilets for the price that had been discussed. He took a down payment which was supposed to be deducted from the invoice price, but was not.

We had a leaky bathroom faucet in an older (50,70+, who knows how old, really?) home. We were able to contact Hope Plumbing, and the office staff was able to take pictures and check that they were able to do the work before sending the technician out. "We showed with our manager and we can do it!"
The Technician, Michael, called 30 min before arrival. He was knowledgeable and to the point. He checked the water main shutoff, sump pump, and softener shutoff before starting work. Then he started work on the valve problem. When he was unable to pull the valve stems out (broke off in the valve piping), he went and got a new 2-handle valve fixture and installed it. He was transparent, knowledgeable, and explained what was going on as he worked. He took care with his tools and equipment to keep the area clean, and was timely and thorough in his work. He finished the valve replacement, including cutting out the old valve fixture and soldering the new fixture in, installed new corresponding handles, and caulked the handle openings (picture taken before caulking complete).
The finished product looks good and doesn't leak! Plus we're now comfortable that we have hardware that will last a long time. All in all, very happy with the experience, and we'll be back to Hope Plumbing for our future old-house plumbing needs.
Photos are some before-and-after, you will be able to tell which is which! -
Seth drove from Anderson to Franklin on a rainy afternoon to install an outdoor water spigot that was broken. We had been gathering estimates to no avail. He was nice enough to come the afternoon we called. He did an excellent job during a thunderstorm. The price was reasonable and he was able to reconstruct other plumbers mistakes and we are very grateful. I recommend Seth highly and will spread the word to family and friends. Will trust Seth with any plumbing work needed in the future.

I had a clogged drain. I called Monday evening and they were able to get someone out Tuesday morning! Cartavious did a great job! Even recommended what products to use and where to get them to help keep the drain lines clean! I really appreciated the great customer service from the person who set up the appointment and Cartavious who came out!

I had an excellent experience with Hope Plumbing! Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and very respectful throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made sure the job was done right. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and courteous—Brian truly went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend Hope Plumbing and will call again in the future.

We called in the morning with an active leak and Hope plumbing showed up very quickly. Brandon was friendly and communicated each step of the way. Price was very reasonable for all of the work that he was able to perform.

This gentleman was amazing!! He was exceptionally polite, during our crisis, & walked us through everything. He took the time to explain where the influx of water was coming from and answered all of our questions. His customer service was impeccable as he walked us through what needed to be done. This was after 10pm and we sure appreciated his prompt response & professional expertise! We will be using your services from this point forward. I appreciate your rapid response. His honesty was also recognized by my husband and I. Thank you!!

Came and blew out the blockage—-will be scoped this afternoon. Service was same day I called. Everything was explained before the service was done. Will definitely call Hope again. Got the membership—best deal.

We had a sewage emergency three days prior to Thanksgiving. I gave Hope plumbing a call and they came out the very next day to assess what was going on. Unfortunately, our tree had grown into our clay pipes (because of course they were clay pipes). Our main sewage line busted and was leaking into our crawl space. The following day we had the Excavation crew out digging up our yard and tearing down said tree. Specifically, Cody did a fantastic job. He kept us up on everything that they were doing and was unbelievably kind. They did a very fast and efficient job. The price was below what was shown as 'average' for a full house to street excavation and we were also given a lifetime transferable warranty. Having the crew come out and finish the job so quickly was very kind and they made a stressful situation much more bearable. If you're ever in our unfortunate situation (which I truly hope you aren't) I would recommend giving them a call.

I’m really disappointed in how many times things have been rescheduled. The techs were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but the right tech wasn’t sent for the original thing we wanted which was a sewer scope to determine depth before we put in our new driveway. We signed up for the membership and have thus far been disappointed in the service we have received. Timeliness and follow through on commitment is really important to me as a customer; if this is important to you as a customer, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
