Had an amazing experience when Gurney Bush came and fixed a very specific, long-standing plumbing problem we had. There was a bit of miscommunication which caused a delay in service, but aside from that everything was perfect and great value. The problem has been 99% resolved, which is even better than what we anticipated!

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! So we are having issues with our ejector pit pump including having sewage bubble up in our downstairs bathroom. My wife called them initially around 4 PM and was told we were fourth in line on the list for service. We waited for several hours, and she called them several times back to inquire when he would be arriving. We were finally able to get a hold of the technician named Tyler. He called us at approximately 11 PM and said he would be leaving Westfield and arriving at our house in Fishers very soon. After 90 minutes of not having him arrive, we texted and called him back. He said he was “still out at this job trying to get it sorted”. We then tried calling him, but he would not answer his phone. My wife sent him a couple more texts inquiring when he might arrive, and then to please call before he leaves the job there. He went completely dark on us, and we haven’t heard anything since. We stayed up most of the night waiting for this guy. The lack of professionalism and compassion is extraordinary from this plumber and his company. DO NOT use this company under ANY circumstances!!!

DO NOT USE THEM!!! Our kitchen sink was backed up. Based on Next-door reviews I gave Gurney Bush a call. A technician came out on a Thursday but looked at the plumbing and said he couldn't snake the drain. It would need to be replummed so he scheduled their plumber to come out the following Tuesday morning and I would get a call 30 minutes before arrival. By late afternoon I called them. They were sorry. Still on a big job ... can they come tomorrow. I said yes, but please come this time because I have standing water in my kitchen sink. Received a call on Wednesday morning ... still busy can they come Thursday morning. Received a call Thursday morning ... can they come Thursday afternoon. That was the last I heard from them. They didn't show up. They didn't call. They left me with a week of standing water and clogged drain in my kitchen sink. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Gurney Bush is awesome. They are competent, professional, and most of all honest. There is more disparity in this field than any other. I once had Roto Rooter give me an estimate for $12000 to clear a sewer line; it ended up being a $75 service call. You can expect the truth from zGurney Bush!

I was referred to this company as I had a clogged kitchen sink drain. Fortunately the clogged drain was fixed but unfortunately I had new issues of a leak in the plumbing and a leak in the garbage disposal caused from the person fixing the clogged drain. So - I called to have them come out under warranty and fix the leak. It took multiple requests but they came after several days and fixed the plumbing leak cased by their drain tech putting the compression fitting on the wrong way and also advised that they could replace the garbage disposal as ours was rusted and not able to be fixed. I then paid for them to replace the garbage disposal but now I have a new leak from under the sink caused by the tugging and pulling of pipes when installing the garbage disposal. This company wanted to charge a new service call fee to come out and fix the leak they caused when installing the garbage disposal. We disagreed, excuses were given and the call ended abruptly. I will never use this company again. I have never written a bad review but I felt the need to based on how my last phone conversation went with this company. Very disappointed.

I called them a week in advance for service and scheduled a time for them to come and clean my main line drain. We informed them that the repairs had to get be done in a specific time frame because we were purchasing the property. A technician came to the property, refused to service the property, and then the technician wouldn't answer when I called him back to try and reschedule. This was a large inconvenience and put us way behind schedule.

Called them on a Sunday night. Quoted me $250 to clear the main line to the street. $240 was the next best price I could find but I would be 5 hours longer. The technician, Dave, arrived early. He was professional and courteous, cleaned up his mess and got out quickly. I didn't like paying that much for service on a Sunday night, but would call them again if I was in the same situation.

I called out Gurney Bush to clean a main drain at a home my wife and have owned for about 20 years. We had them out last year in June for the exact same service to open a the main drain through a clean-out in the basement and the technician Scott did a great job even vacuuming the floor drain with a wet vac. at a very reasonable $85. This time we had a similar problem caused by sanitary wipes or something like it and the technician that came out left a big mess behind after snaking the line; telling my wife that she should call MR. Plumber and they could clean up the mess around the floor drain. The cost was $270. After bringing this to the attention at Gurney Bush I was told this was their charge and the technician were on commission and had lots of freedom in how much they charge the there was nothing else they could do.

After another company claimed parts of my sewer line would need to be replaced due to tree roots clogging it, I called Gurney Bush. They were able to remove over 98% of the tree roots and said the cleaning should last for 5-10 years and found there was not damage to the pipes that would require repairs. They were quick, honest about the problem, and saved me thousands in sewer line replacement costs. Will absolutely do business with them again!

Tom and John run a high integrity business! The technician unclogged a main drain for me and explained to me how to keep things clear and what to do in the future if there was another problem. In addition, I had an old corroded cap that was nearly impossible to remove. They replaced it and didn't even charge me. Highly, highly recommend.

Called this company on the recommendation of another company for service because I had a clogged main line. I made my first call at 10:30am and they told me someone would be out. It took 12 hours and 4 phone calls before a tech actually arrived. The tech was able to clear the clog but less then three weeks later I started hearing the same issues with the plumbing. They sent the tech back out and again he ran the line and didn't find anything that would be causing issues. I was charged another service fee and nothing was resolved. I've paid almost $400 in less than three weeks and still don't feel comfortable that it's not going to have issues.

I will 100% use Gurney Bush again. I had Gurney Bush replace a drain line on the exterior of my house. This was a very big project that required tearing out the driveway and connecting to the sewer line. My house is 100 years old (had clay pipes, bellies, backup etc) so we ran into some issues when we started digging but Gurney came up with some solutions and worked with me on getting it done. I was very pleased with their pricing, the guys that came to work on the project everyday, and their front office communication. Definitely recommend them for big projects like this.

Do NOT use. Don't show up when scheduled, don't call if going to be late, don't announce that they have arrived and just start working without any estimate, than when finished overcharge the work and try to make you pay.
Find another company, I did and paid a fraction of what this company charged for the exact job.

I had a late night plumbing emergency at a vacation rental house I own. The main sewer line was clogged causing the toilet on the main floor to overflow when someone used the upstairs shower. Scott at Gurney Bush came out at 11pm at night and resolved the issue and also educated us on how to prevent the issue in the future. And the charge for late night emergency service was very reasonable. Best overall plumbing experience in years across all of the properties we own/manage. Would definitely recommend and will use again. A++++++

Sheer Excellence! Long story short, a continuing problem over 2 years in the making in which an electrical contractor had accidentally bored through a lateral septic line leading to the main. Gurney J. Bush was able to discover the cause by camera, clear the blockage, then coordinate us to resolve the issue with Engineering and Contractors. Top Notch operators, equipment, punctuality, performance, and most importantly, communication.

I called Gurney Bush when I had our external sewer drain out of our business was clogged. They sent a team out quickly and within the hour of showing up the sewer drain was opened and taken care of. They were very reasonable and professional. I had them quote me a yearly contract to jet and clean the drain and i received it within a few days. Great bunch of folks! Highly recommend!

I love using this company they always come through for us here at Pull Up Grill. Their on call services have helped us late night more than once. The ladies in the office are always very prompt. Take the time to help the customer understand services and billing. We highly recommend them for all your drain needs.

Gurney Bush is one of the best plumbing companies. We use them at my job commercially but I had never used them for my personal home issues until yesterday. My home warranty sent them out to do a repair to my home kitchen plumbing issues as Gurney is a preferred vendor of my home warranty company.

The tech, Josh was prompt, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant to deal with. He understood my issue fully immediately & resolve my issue while getting everything approved w/warranty company simultaneously. Talk about a completely smooth experience.

This company is great, had a problem and a different company came out on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, spent 6 hours at my house, said they needed to dig up my yard and replace some piping, quotes $3000. I called Gurney Bush and the came out that evening, came back Friday diagnosed and fixed the problem in less that 2 hours for less than $800. I would highly recommend this company, the gentlemen that came to my house were very pleasant, clean, and efficient, explained things in terms I could understand! 5+ stars!!!

Nate was Superb ! He was the best plumbing technician we have ever had to our house {and we've had many} ! He was so hard~working, very knowledgeable, neat and efficient. They gave me a time window of 0900-1200. They called and said they would arrive in 30 minutes. Steve and Riley arrived promptly. I showed them my drain problem, and the Steve and his apprentice fixed the issue quickly.

$175 for a basement floor drain cleanout. Very satisfied with the professionalism, price, and work.
