Plumbing reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

About A year ago I purchased a $2000+ water softening system from R&R Plumbing. I’ve been trying to get someone to call me back because it’s not working. It’s been two weeks and no response. I would not recommend R&R Plumbing

I was given RR plumbing as a reference to restore an outdated piece of plumbing. Before going there I had been to several hardware stores and then a plumbing supply. Nobody had the part. When I walked in to RR they had the piece ready and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the great service and going the extra mile.

Awful plumbers. They installed a defective water heater in my home which failed after two years and flooded my home. I acknowledge that the defective water heater itself is not their fault, however, they did not install it sitting in a drain pan or elevate it. It was simple sitting on the floor. Then they did not return any of the 4 emergency calls I placed to them. Avoid these plumbers at all costs.

I am very happy to report an excellent service epefience/story. I had a water heater serviced becuse it kept shutting off. The electronic control had failed and required replacement. I was charged way less than I planning on paying. In fact, they could have sold me a complete watef heater but did not take advantage. On the initial visit they were friendly, professional and the technician cleaned up after himself. Had to go get part was back and finished same day. The replacement failed a few months later but I was always able to get it relit. Last night I couldn't. I called them this morning and was connected to a very pleasant man who looked up the original service order. After a brief explaination he asked if someone would be around which I told, luckily yes. He said the tech who did the original work was in today and that he would send him over to have a look. Becore lunch i received word from my wife that the tech had been in, detected the faulty part, replaced it, apologized and had gone. Even better, the charge was zero. After 8 months there was no haggling, no automatic visit charge, nothing except pride in their work and fairness to this guaranteed retun customer for all of my future needs.

DO NOT use this company. I have called this company MULTIPLE times to fix my water heater. All my calls were ignored, including the emergency line. When I finally got ahold of someone the woman on the phone was incredibly rude. I was told someone would be at my home between 10-12 and no one has showed up. Completely awful service.

I had a faulty gas shut off valve on my water heater and furnace. I called r&r and they were here same day thank you to Tammy. Ron came over in a timely manner and replaced my gas shut off valves good quality work professional and was very understanding when I asked him questions. Thanks Dan

This “company” and I use that term very lightly is a subcontractor for D.R. Horton.
They have no business installing plumbing, especially on New Construction Homes.
We moved in to our newly built home in November 2021 and used a preferred plumbing service to install a new water softener system, THANK GOODNESS we called someone other than RR Plumbing.
The plumber discovered that the water lines were all installed and attached to the “outside walls of the home” and then insulation was installed from the inside to “hide the incorrect installation”!!!
Had this gone undetected we would have serious issues now in the cold of winter.
So I call the builder and am told this is a “warranty issue” and it is my responsibility now to call RR plumbing to get the issues fixed. (Thanks DR Horton, see your review also)
I called RR Plumbing and spoke to JR..He proceeded to tell me they only do the Warranty repairs if something’s broken, and further said it was not their problem as they just install the plumbing....What?!!!
So I call DR Horton back and tell them what happens. They come by and see the issue and I am told they will call RR Plumbing and “see if they can get them to come out and fix this incorrect installation”
So a few days later we get a call and RR Plumbing says they will come out and fix the issues. The end result was they “did fix the lines” but come on man, really?
Would NEVER recommend this plumbing service to anyone. Hire at your own risk!!!! -
They might provide good service, but they need to install governors on their vans. I certainly don't appreciate being tailgated within inches of my bumper on I865 by the gentleman with plate #AWI282 when I'm already doing 80, and then watching him nearly rear-end a semi in a construction zone. Oh, and it's all on my dash cam if the owners of the business would like to see it.

Unsafe and untrained is honestly the best way to describe both the employees and the business. After witnessing the damages they have caused to multiple clients - I have to honestly warn to avoid this service. Quality General Contractors have this company on the black list. If you do see their vehicles on the road, such as i74, be very careful as they will run you off the road or almost rear-end you.

These guys just finished plumbing a new house for us. I wouldn't let them plumb an outhouse after this experience. As of today, I have personally had to fix three separate issues. The latest was a poorly installed ejector pit. We called their Emergency line on Sunday the 6th because we had septic backing up into our brand new basement. Their response was "Just don't use the downstairs bathroom until we can get out there". Called that Monday because no one had come out yet. They came out at 2:30 on Tuesday, but didn't have everything they needed, so they rescheduled for Thursday. Then did a horrible job which included attempting to seal the lid of the ejector pit with Tapcon screws put in at an angle, which only served to lift the edge of the lid up off the seal. This was the third issue of theirs that we had to fix ourselves. Don't waste your time with this company.

The service is terrible and the workmanship is worse. +1 to these guys being reckless on the road, and acting like an absolute fools. These guys are amateur at best. Driving around cussing people out, flipping the bird, all while their company name is plastered on the Van. I hope that people read these comments and understand they are not professional and shouldn't be trusted with something as important as plumbing. Take these one stars to heart people, before you hire them and find out the hard way.

I’ve had R&R plumbing do warranty work on my home for three separate issues. Twice they’ve had to make multiple trips for simple repairs (things like leaky toilet seals and shutoff valves) before getting it right. The other time they broke the tip off the PVC drain line under my kitchen sink, had to cut the drywall open to fix it and did a HORRIBLE job repairing it. When they got to the point in the photo I told them to leave so I could fix it myself. I understand that things happen and jobs don’t always go as planned, but when they can’t ever seem to get a simple fix done right the first time it says something.

DO NOT have these people come into your home to work on ANYTHING. Our landlord didn't want to pay for Mr Quick price so he hired these people and they absolutely delivered cheap work! They just screwed this part into the wall and didn't even put our shelf back up so my husband had to. But you can't put it back in any of this cut piece because if you push ANYWHERE on the little box, it falls into the wall. I'm so pissed. Yes, I rent but I still live here and want "my" place to look nice. Also, we had to TELL HIM to put the piece BACK UP because he was just gonna leave an open hole!!!!

Awful display of ownership.
Another review of a driver being careless on the road while my child was in the car with me!
Passed me on the shoulder of I70!! Hit my mirror and busted the whole thing. The employee finally pulled over once trying to flee the scene. Then became irate so I pulled away as I had my 5yr old daughter in the car with me!!!
Their insurance said won’t cover the damage because of conflicting stories.
Hire better people… that simple. Or at least hold them accountable.
STAY AWAY FROM ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY ON THE ROAD.
Heaven forbid allow them into your home and trust them to give you quality service. -
One of their drivers attempted to brake check me and run me off of I-69(in an older Ford E350 white van, with an American flag decal). Can’t imagine that a company whose employees behave like that would do any sort of quality work.

Brian pulled a toilet to access the drain and unclogged the main drain, then reset the toilet. Very happy with the job and communication throughout the process. I will call them again when I have plumbing issues. Great job!!
-
Did a Great job explained everything in detail I will definitely call them back again if need be and recommend to others. thank you, and God bless

They do good work but but recently the communication about when they're coming has gotten very confusing. For instance, I went to go meet the plumber and when I got there, I got a notice saying that he'd already been there. I called the office and they said that he was on his way and he'd give me a call when he got there. I never got a call. And then I got an email asking me to review my experience??

This repair experience was very good. Travis explained everything before he started. Everyone involved was very friendly and did a great job. The cost was half the price of the other quotes I got. Highly reccomend.
-
Seth did a great job!! Friendly, good communications Q and A. Helped understand warranty limits. Contacted another co to determine if any water damage. Hot water heater under warranty so paid only labor for install. Price seemed high but no comparison.

Brian was amazing. He had to wait on me to get home (which I was super grateful) and was kind / professional throughout the entire process - not to mention fixing an issue in my house!
