I am a single father whose daughter is coming home from college for the summer and I wanted to have our apartment as clean as it could be. I went online last Thursday night and read numerous reviews of just about every company that was listed on Google and only one company stood out from the rest. Cottage Care’s website presentation depicted everything I was looking for in a cleaning company.

On Friday, I called Cottage Care and spoke to a lovely woman whose name is Destiny. After describing what I was looking for in a cleaning company, Destiny explained everything in detail on what they offer and how they make sure every customer is satisfied.

I explained to Destiny I have not been able to keep up with my home as good as I should have and I wanted my daughter to come back from school to a clean home. Destiny completely understood and believed I would be happy with their services.

My apartment is 950 sq feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I have a cat and it likes to shed everywhere, especially on my leather couch. I advised Destiny that both bathrooms were a complete disaster and the kitchen was going to need equal work. Destiny said she could have one of their best people come out the following Monday morning, and for just $188.00 my whole apartment would be cleaned. I was over-the-moon ecstatic.

On Monday, a very pleasant young lady named Erica came in and began right away working on my daughter’s bathroom. An hour and a half later, Erica began on the guest bathroom. So, 2 1/2 hours gone just on bathroom deep cleaning. Next was the microwave, stove, and vacuum of the living room and dining area.

After 3 1/2 hours Erica had to go to another appointment, so the bedroom’s weren’t touched and neither was the kitchen floor or furniture. Destiny called from the Cottage Care office to see how everything went. I told her I wished I could have kept Erica longer as some things weren’t done do to her having to leave. Destiny immediately apologized and said everything should have been done prior to Erica leaving, but she was newer and her previous employer put strict time constraints for a cleaning job. Destiny reassured me time constraints is never an issue with Cottage Care and they will stay for as long as it takes to complete the job to their clients satisfaction. Destiny said she would have someone come out the very next day to complete the cleaning.

This morning, a whirlwind showed up at my door. Her name was Karen. Karen came in and immediately started on the kitchen, wiping down everything, hand scrubbing the kitchen floor and even scouring the trash can. My kitchen is cleaner now than when I moved in 8 years ago.

Next, Karen cleaned my daughter’s bedroom and even made her bed in a way I could never duplicate.

Karen finished off my bedroom in short order, did a bit of ceiling fan and lights dusting before packing it up to go home.

All in all, about 6 hours total cleaning between Erica and Karen. My home looks immaculate and I can’t wait to see my daughter’s face when she comes home on Friday night. Thank you Destiny, Erica, and Karen for a job well done and surpassing all my expectations. I will definitely be calling Cottage Care again for my home cleaning needs.

My Aunt Twyla always says great things about the service she receives from Cottage Care. She has a great relationship with her cleaner Erica. When I visit my aunt her home is always so clean and smelling great. I look forward to doing business in the near future for my home.

We have our home cleaned biweekly. Beth did an excellent job for our most recent cleaning. The house smelled fresh and clean and we did not notice any missed areas. Beth is always friendly and professional.

We had used Cottage Care periodically for several years and just recently decided to set up a twice monthly regular schedule. Amanda has been our provider and is a godsend for us. Since she has been taking care of our housecleaning needs, I have noticed a definite reduction in my personal stress levels (which I experience when my house needs attention and I can't physically do what needs to be done). The house smells clean, the hard surface floors and bathrooms are clean and neat ... even the microwave oven interior is clean. I don't know what we'd do without her!

The cleaners at CottageCare always do a great job cleaning our house! They ask if there is anything that was missed in the previous clean or if there are any special requests which is always nice. Tina did our most recent clean and she was just wonderful!

We have used Cottage Care repeatedly, including gifting the service to my mother. Recently, we requested a regularly scheduled service. Amanda comes every other Monday She is timely, attentive and friendly She knows about our sensitivity to certain cleaning supplies and is careful to only use those we are safe to be around. The office staff and the occasional time we have had a substitute have also been very professional and attentive.

I’ve been using CottageCare for four years and have never had a single issue. Every cleaner they’ve sent has done an excellent job, and I always come home to a house that looks amazing. They truly make my life easier. The management team is just as wonderful- great at reminders, flexible with rescheduling, and always helpful when needed. I couldn’t be happier with their service!

I highly recommend Cottage Care cleaners in Des Moines! They are great to work with and super flexible to my needs. For my recent “first” visit, both Erica and Tannah did an exceptional job, especially given some of the areas needed some extra TLC, lol. I can’t say enough how pleased I was with their work, and also how pleasant and friendly they were when I was around. I can’t wait for my recurring monthly cleaning this year!

A few months ago we set up a recurrent cleaning schedule with Cottage Care in order to keep our home well-maintained. Amanda has been our service person and she does a wonderful job keeping our bathrooms, kitchen and hard floor surfaces clean and shining. My family loves CottageCare Cleaning! They are always so responsive and accommodating with our schedule. Emi is absolutely stellar. Not only is she extremely kind and thoughtful, she also always cleans our home with such thoroughness and care. Definitely give them a call if you are looking for a great house cleaning service!

While the results of my yard speaks for itself. I’d like to comment on how anytime I engage with a support rep, sales rep, or the person out spraying/aerating the yard has been pleasant and positive. Always willing to answer questions and get back to me if it needs a follow-up! My experience has been great since we brought aboard Naturescape to help manage our hard a little better than we were before!

We switched to Naturescape this year and I am really impressed so far. They come when they say they will and knock on the front door before entering the backyard so we can keep the dogs inside. I appreciate the pamphlet they leave every time that explains the treatment provided. The employees who have come to treat the lawn are friendly and respectful. They even picked up the dogs balls left in the yard before treating, I didnt even think to do this but will try to have that done before treatments future forward.
