Omg and amazing company!!! I called and had someone here and my central air fixed within 24 hrs. Chris was so kind and explained everything as he was fixing my air. This is truly a great company and if you need honest hard working company please call them.

These guys are amazing. I wouldn't even think to call anyone else for my HVAC needs!!!

Summary: Do NOT count on them to show up or even let you know they won't be able to. Lost $150 deposit and had to cancel a vacation because of their inability to keep an appointment. Three weeks and multiple calls and promises later, we still haven't heard from or seen anyone.

Full version:

We called on a Wednesday to ask about repairs to the AC on our camper and mentioned that we needed it done before a trip the following Friday. We were promised that they would be able to fit us in early next week but were not given a firm date. We called back on Friday since we still didn't have a date. The person we spoke to remembered the details of our job and again told us that they would be out early next week but not an actual date. We should have looked for someone else at that point.

On Wednesday night the next week (the week of our vacation), we still hadn't heard from Moore's or had anyone come out, so we had to cancel our trip and eat a $150 deposit and a bunch of wasted vacation days from work.

Waited the entire following week, and finally called back that Friday to ask if they were still planning to come out at some point. Spoke to the same gentleman for a third time who apologized for not making it out and told us...you guessed it, they'd be out early next week.

We're now at the end of that third week and have neither heard a peep from the company nor had anyone come out to do any of the work we arranged.

Great company and honest. My mom’s air went out and they were there that day.
My son recommended them. Used their services a few times and was very pleased with their service.

My furnace stopped sparking on Wednesday in early December in the middle of the night. They were able to come right away the next morning. Chris was awesome, and fixed the problem, replacing the module, very quickly. I asked him to also do some routine maintenance while there and he did, checking and replacing the capacitor, oiling the inducer fan, and cleaning the flame sensor. He gave us great advice about maintenance and educated me on my system and thermostat. Friendly, experienced, and professional. Highly recommend.

This company was very unprofessional and they we 3 hours late and didnt even call to tell me they were gonna be late then got angry because i called them. I would not recommend this company. They were very unprofessional and very rude. They don't even deserve 1 star.

Beware. ACM told me I needed a new unit ($4,000). I called a different company who flipped the switch in the back of my house to "on" and my AC has worked ever since.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would.

ACM did some electrical work on our house before we moved in, and about two weeks after we moved in, everything they had worked on had started to not work. Between my wife and I, we called 6 times in a 3 week span to have them come and fix what they had messed up, and no one ever called me back to set up anything. At that point we got our realtor involved to have him resolve the problem. When our realtor called, the owner of ACM yelled at our realtor, and refused to come and fix his mistakes.

The lack of professionalism, respect, and courtesy from this company is extremely dissatisfying, and I will urge everyone to never hire ACM.

I would probably not recommend ACM . The AC was put in in phases and even though they had the materials they let our family sit for four days in 100 degree weather because they didn't want our insurance company to "stiff" them. They also gave their word to fix a small electrical problem, his words, and then refused to do it. The 3 people that helped were wonderful.

Naturally one of the coldest days of this winter my furnace would not start. Called ACM and they were out within a half hour. After a little time they figured out my gas valve was bad. They went to the supply house picked up a new gas valve and had me going within a few hours. Courteous and a decent price. Thank you ACM. 👍

Have had Al and his crew out over the years to replace things and they are always prompt and courteous. During an extreme cold snap Al even asked if we wanted to borrow heaters until they could get our part in the next morning. Our neighbors had recommended them after many positive experiences with them and now my Mom uses them also.

I had Al Ruby replace my A/C and heater which they left a bad weld so all of the coolant leaked out of the A/C. He told me to use the warranty. Well the warranty is only for parts ( which they don’t tell you) and not their workmanship. I will now have to spend an additional $1,200 to fix his flawed work and lack of ownership for his work. Hire anyone other than this company if you want credible service.

The tech discovered our flue pipe had a slight back-draft issue during a routine furnace inspection. Installed a draft inducer fan to ensure proper exhaust venting and prevent CO from potentially backing up into the house. Tested CO levels before and after. Critical safety fix we had no idea about!

A wonderful encounter with Council Bluffs Heating & Cooling! The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and amiable. He worked quickly and got there early. He left the room immaculate after making sure I understood everything. The service was first-rate and the price was reasonable. Council Bluffs Heating & Cooling really fulfilled all of their commitments. Strongly advised!
