Luke was very professional and upfront pricing. I needed to have a part replaced on my furnace and he went above and beyond to make extra calls to try to find the most cost-effective part to lower the price for me. I would strongly recommend Holy and I will be using them in the future.

We woke up to a cold house. My husband called Holt before 8:00, someone was at our house by 8:30. The whole process was professional and speedy - we had a plan that morning and a team worked all of the next day to install a new system. We're grateful and happy customers!

I had Alberto at my home to fix a wiring issue that was not approved by the building inspector when my furnace was originally Installed. What made this visit so nice was that I was able to set up a specific time to meet with him and he was very informative about what he was doing and why. Normally doing business with Holt requires that you agreed to a time of 830 to 4:30 PM To be seen. This policy is not of benefit to working people. We are not always able to be home all day awaiting a phone call from a technician, but in the case of having Alberto come to my home I had the benefit of being able to have a specific time scheduled. If Holte could schedule specific times for people instead of an all day appointment, I think they would have more business.

Lucas was great! He made a stressful situation bearable and his work was perfect. He explained ever step as to what he was doing. I appreciated his humor and the care he showed Inn getting to my l job done right. He went thru all no options and helped me to make decisions with trust and ease!

This was for installing a new water heater.

Jeremiah Adam's and Josh were out to replace pipes to washing machine as thet were severely corroded. Jeremiah told me that I wouldnt necessarily have to replace the hoses since I was purchasing a new washer and the hoses would come with new unit. He didnt have to tell me that, but I appreciate not wasting $300.on something I was going to get the very next day. He didnt try to upsell me like their last tech did when I had work done in the Fall. Last Fall.what I thought would be a relstively minor.visit was over 6k. Not exaggerating. I was truly giving them 1 last chance to keep my business.

The price was not even close to competitive!! We were quoted $9300.00 to install a new tankless water heater and expansion tank. After expressing our desire to look for a better price point, the “manager” gave us a discount to $8500! We declined that as well.
We found another company to replace both for $3300 with a $600 rebate! Our total price of $2700 was 1/3 of the price quoted by your company!

Holt Plumbing was outstanding! JD and Joe were fantastic to work with, professional, friendly, and extremely careful about keeping my home clean and orderly throughout the entire process. Their communication was excellent, they finished ahead of schedule, and everything came in right on budget. Truly the best experience I’ve had with any plumbing company in Des Moines. Holt did an outstanding job installing our new water softener and replacing four faucets and a shower in one day. Holts customer service is second to none!

Long message, but needed to include details! We are impressed with their communication and follow through with their actions and THEIR words. We had Holt come out in January to replace our hot water heater, sump pump, toilet, garbage disposer and install a water softener. They were efficient and we thought for all the work they did, it was a great price and they were able to get everything done in one day. Fast forward to August, we were selling our house and the new buyers inspector found a small leak coming from the toilet Holt installed. After further inspection, there was some mold that developed from the leak. We contacted Holt and they sent a guy out right away. We had to hire a mold remediation company and Nate Beenken (Manager from Holt) agreed to pay for the remediation and had his guy (Joe Grismer) come out after the remediation was done, and fix the plumbing and reinstall the toilet AND repaired the dry wall AND retiled the bathroom at no cost to us. We truly appreciate the fact that Holt took ownership of the issue and helped us immediately so our move could go smooth.

Also shout out to Joe Burkle who moved the water softener from our old house to our new house and actually cared abut moving carefully! thank you for taking the time to put stuff on the floor and walls to ensure no damage to our houses and also letting the movers use your walkways. We appreciate his preparedness when the movers were not.

All the men were super knowledgeable, helpful and timely with their work and are greatly appreciated.

Trenton is as good as it gets. Efficiently analyzed our furnace’s multiple system failures and clearly explained the issues and all options. He made the time to educate and review about all of our options while listening. Wildly impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. Not just a technician but was a full consultant to us about our HVAC needs.

Daniel and Ryan came for a routine maintenance check!!! Very respectful of our home and friendly to our “needy” pets. A thorough inspection of our furnace was done ( not ever complaining of our uncomfortable crawl space condition). Daniel was excellent at explaining tests performed on the unit; answering effectively questions I asked. He is very knowledgeable of the work he does and is able to put information in layman’s terms!! Thank you for your dedication and quality service!!!!

Sam was very polite and knew what he was selling. He is very knowledgeable. He did mention it would cost 50 dollars to have it inspected every year to make sure the warranty is covered. I hope he was truthful about the 50 dollars

Trent though took the time to explain everything to me about my HVAC system and help me understand what was wrong. He took the time to make sure I selected the best replacement unit for my needs. Logan was very friendly and professional. He assessed our situation quickly and shared options regarding our hot water heater & water softener. We appreciated him being able to complete all the work the day he came out.

Knowledgeable and friendly. David was on time and fixed our issue. We had multiple techs at our house today for various reasons. I did offer the techs $20 to fight on my front lawn for my own entertainment reasons. My offer was politely declined. Holt always has the most professional staff. Would recommend. Thanks!

Wow... Trenton was wonderful. Listened to the issue and went right to work on resolving it. For 5 years my furnace vent on the roof would freeze up in January and I would be 1-2 weeks without heat. I had other services come out who offered no solution. But Trenton had the wisdom and skill to not only get the furnace running again, but to diagnose the issue in my pipes in the attic that were not insulated. Insulation maintenance scheduled for tomorrow. I am so very grateful to Trenton and Holt for excellent and dependable workmanship. I would highly recommend them.
