Schaal did an amazing job responding to our emergency tankless water heater situation! We had an old unit that was going bad and accidentally broke a valve while checking on it. We called the 24-hr service number late evening and were able to arrange for a morning appointment the very next day.

Chad W, our service rep & the installation team did a super incredible job!! Chad is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. They not only replaced the unit, they also repaired & replaced copper piping, tubing, etc.

In addition, we had also been considering a dual filtration system and asked Chad about available options. We were very pleased to discover that they could make this part of the same work order at a very reasonable price.

Everyone was very courteous and took extreme care, while working in the house and bringing equipment in and out. We were very impressed at how efficiently they installed the water heater, filtration system, and piping that very same day in just a few hours.

Super responsive with helpful phone and online communication. Technician (Cooper) was professional, polite and very informative. He carefully explained my current leak situation and was happy to answer any questions about current plumbing issue and other unrelated plumbing questions.

The repair was on a ball valve that had been installed by Schaal 3 years earlier. Of course, I didn’t like the idea of paying for repair but the situation was carefully explained as to labor and material warranties. In the end, plumbing repairs are expensive but having a quick response, reasonable explanation and professional/honest technician helps soothe the pain.

I received excellent, courteous and professional same day service by Larry Robins for my electrical needs. He was very attentive and answered all of my questions. He fixed my electrical issue in no time and the service fee was reasonable as it could have been a much bigger problem. I would definitely hire him again.

Showed up promptly on time. Wore booties inside so not to track mud in. They did forget to double check if they got one of the cold air returns all cleaned out and blew dust all over the living room. Broke one of my floor vents and left dirt and debris on downstairs bathroom counter. They cleaned up the living room as best they could and offered to mop but I told them I would do it.

Our old furnace that hadn't been serviced for many years went out. Called Schaal and they were quick to send someone out to see what was wrong. While he couldn't find the exact cause, he was able to wiggle some wires and get it going again. He performed a very thorough diagnostic and provided some very useful info/details and left his card so we could discuss and get back to him about the route we wanted to take. (Hence why Schaals get some stars in my review.)
There were a lot of overwhelming problems/safety issues that he found so we decided it would be a better investment to get a brand new furnace. We called the technicians number that was on his business card to get a quote, and he never called back. We waited five days to hear back from him but ultimately ended up reaching out to Golden Rule and they were able to get us set up with a brand new furnace/AC combo the next day! Would've loved to go through Schaal since they were so diligent in their inspection, but it was a time-sensitive matter and not getting a call back put a damper in that plan.

Chad is terrific! He did a great job and explained the entire process and the charges before he started. Very friendly and thorough and left no evidence he was even here--other than a new toilet!
He provided the type of service we've come expect from Schaal.

I like how easy it is to schedule or reschedule appts — just send a text! Scheduling staff is always very responsive and accommodating. Sam is great to work with! He is very knowledgeable regarding products and services and always takes time to show me what needs attention and how to maintain things for the best efficiency. Sam is also comfortable with our dogs, which is a bonus.

I had a furnace issue and called some places and only Schaal was able to come on a Saturday. The technician, Cole was great. He worked quickly and explained everything very well after he finished. He did a great job and I would recommend them.

I had a great experience with the HVAC technician Quinn who came out to fix my heater. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the entire process, what needed to be repaired, what might need to be replaced in the future, and how I can properly maintain the system to keep it running well. I really appreciated how transparent and thorough he was. It made me feel confident that the job was done right. Highly recommend!
