I got a great AC unit installed in my garage by Dayton. They took the time to make sure I understood everything and gave me options (good, better, best). There was an issue with the electrical circuit they installed, but they came back and got that resolved before the end of the day.

Every interaction we had with Dayton through the process of getting our air conditioner checked out and ultimately replaced was nothing but positive! Every employee was kind, timely and knowledgeable. They were respectful and did a wonderful job explaining things to us and answering questions. Highly recommend!

Dayton was a great choice for us. Starting with the first call there was a genuine interest in my business, and the small family-type atmosphere really showed up throughout. Nick was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the sales side and made sure we would be happy with the end product. The install crew was helpful, friendly, careful, quick, and neat and dealt with our giant, enthusiastic dog very well! The mini split we got installed just before the most recent heat wave and it has really improved the situation in our house - specifically a room that lost a lot of shade due to the tornado that hit Urbandale last year. We consider it one of the best purchases we've made to date for this house! Thanks to all the Dayton crew!

What started as a great experience, working towards a long term partnership for our personal and business HVAC needs, evaporated over a single phone call. Customer service, and communication are really not that difficult. It's all in the approach and attitude. Unfortunately, that needs improvement here.

Dayton Heating and Air Conditioning have replaced every major system in my home over a number of years (furnace, air conditioner, gas fireplace water heater and softener) The level of service, industry knowledge and responsiveness is second to none. In addition, I participate in their maintenance contract program which gives me peace of mind with biannual service and inspections of my systems, in addition to loyalty discounts! Most importantly, everyone you encounter from the owners, admin staff and field service technicians are professional and courteous. I have recommended Dayton to over a dozen associates who have become loyal customers like me. Thank you to everyone at Dayton. Keep up the good work!

I was very impressed with Mark and Dayton's staff! On a Thursday night I requested for a quote to have an Aprilaire humidifier installed and by Friday morning Mark had sent me a response and was willing to meet that afternoon to provide me an on-site quote. That following Monday they had a technician on-site installing the humidifier/routine furnace cleaning. Overall I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of work.

We just had a mini split system installed by Dayton Heating and Cooling. It replaced numerous window ac's. We don't have a forced air furnace so we couldn't do a conventional AC install. The difference is astounding. These are quieter than any system I've ever heard. Inside and out. And between Nick and Mark helping to figure out the best configuration then Austin, Jesus and the rest of the guys doing the install, I couldn't be happier. Every time one of the guys entered the home they made sure to wear the booties to protect my floors (eventhough we said they didn't need to, lol). They were always respectful of us and our home. Everyone seemed to know their job and did them well. They didn't leave until i was completely satisfied. I certainly would recommend these guys for any hvac work you have.

Not sure what the guys name is that fixed our heat tonight but THAK YOUUUUU a million times. Not only was he professional and friendly he was also caring. Drove all the way back to the shop to fix our heat on a Friday night at 6:30pm just so our daughter doesn’t get cold. 10/10 would recommend. Wonderful company with such wonderful workers!

Dayton Heating & Air Conditioning recently installed a Trane 97% efficiency 2-stage furnace, Trane 16 SEER 2-stage AC system, Aprilaire humidifier, and State water heater. They also expanded the air return system to increase air flow, which included adding a new, larger capacity air filter box. We are satisfied with the quality of work, as well as patience with all of my questions when making a decision. During installation of the water heater, our old and seeping water manifold system burst and started spraying water all over. Thankfully, Dayton had a licensed plumber that was able to address the issue, so they could finish installation of the water heater. Dayton also beat estimates I had received from other major HVAC businesses in the area on comparable equipment and has better pricing on annual maintenance service without requiring a contract with monthly payments. I would definitely recommend obtaining an estimate from Dayton for your next HVAC system installation or service.

Nick and team were great to work with. I bought a mini-split and the Dayton team was very helpful in ensuring I got the right one for my space/needs. Highly recommended crew for new HVAC installation.

Everything was fantastic. Nick came out and reviewed our whole HVAC system that needed to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable and had no up sales pitch! Nick sent us a couple op and went over each in detail! No pressure! We ended choosing a system that would accommodate our house Floor plan! Axel, Willy, and Rick did a wonderful job installing the new system, so pleased with this great crew! Thanks Nick, and team! We have love our new system!

Dayton did a great job installing our new Trane variable speed furnace. Nick stopped by and gave us a fair quote. Loved how they gave the options and then we could pick what was best for us and our budget. Installers, Zach and Austin, were proficient, professional and hard working! They both smiled and got the job done. Everything was picked up and perfect. And the furnace is already heating our home better than it’s ever been! We have a 2nd story home that has NEVER heated or cooled our upstairs very well. Our new variable speed Trane furnace from Dayton has FINALLY solved the problem! So happy!! Thanks Dayton!!!

Great service! They installed a new furnace system for me and made the entire process incredibly easy. My heat went out on a Sunday, and the owner personally walked me through troubleshooting my old boiler over the phone. I ultimately decided to upgrade to a furnace, and they had a rep come out the same day to provide a quote. Everything was fast, professional, and stress-free. I couldn’t be happier!

Our A/C died late Sunday night. Dayton's outstanding sales manager was at our house Monday and the install crew began installing our new A/C on Tuesday morning. Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Love the new system and even feel good about the cost after receiving four quotes from other companies the same day. I had an awesome experience with Dayton Heating and Cooling!
My furnace was about 25 years old and after a couple weeks of fighting it, it finally gave up on me. It was a Trane and it outlasted my expectations so I was sold on the brand. That led me to Dayton Heating and Cooling. I checked their reviews and felt they were a trustworthy company. Being a smaller mom and pop shop made me feel like I was important to them and that feeling was carried through from Dana who answered the phone when I first called to Jason who was the first tech to come out to look at my furnace. Nick visited with me about options and just made me feel relaxed and most importantly there was no pressure. He told me he would email me some options and a short time after they left he texted me to let me know he had done just that.
The next morning I let Nick know I had made my decision and the morning after that Jesus, Willy and Hunter were here to install my new furnace and water heater. Let me tell you, these guys were phenomenal!!! They got right after it. I was so impressed with how well they worked together. They weren’t long on chit chat, just one hard working crew. They worked for me the way I would work for my dad when I was younger. I felt like I mattered to them.
I want to thank Dana, Jason, Nick, Jesus, Willy and Hunter for their follow through, and straight forward, no nonsense professionalism and hard work that so many businesses seem to lack these days.
