This is my first year of using A+ and so far, so good, with the first two lawn applications of spring 2024! They’ve lived up to their name!

What I’ve noticed the most is how lush and green the lawn is. I’ve pulled only one dandelion which was curbside. 😀

The email notifications of the lawn applications are prompt and invoices easy to read.

My husband strives to have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood and A+ has helped him accomplish that for several years! They also take care of our sprinkler system. The technicians are always knowledgeable and explain things well.

Staff is unprofessional and rude. Additionally they make false claims regarding the safety of the chemicals used in relation to animals and pets. We spoke to the manufacturers for their products who are willing to help us out should it become a legal battle with them because the claims they’ve made are unsafe.

I’ve been using their lawn services for over a year, and one day I got a call from a collection agency about a missed payment. I immediately contacted the company, and it turns out my payment was declined because I had gotten a new card and forgot to update my autopay information. Instead of calling me to resolve the issue, they sent it straight to collections, which I found ridiculous. On top of that, their lawn services were subpar, with weeds constantly in the yard, yet I never complained. And then this happens.

Had my riding mower blade sharpened and the mower lubed. I've forgotten the technicians name, but he did a very good job. He was quick and efficient. I had mowed prior to the service. My 2nd time mowing was much better after the service. Quite pleased with how my lawn looks.

I am very happy with the service I received getting my yard treatment set up within my tight budget. Jamyle was very pleasant to work with. I recommend this company for your lawn care

A plus has been great 👍. The same person comes most times and is very professional and quick. I only had one problem when a different person showed and did aeration. It was definitely not done. I had no little round dirt pieces on my lawn. I called and they sent someone to look at it. Unfortunately I happen not to be home and they left a message on my door I was wrong and it was done. If I was home I would have had them show me. If it happens again I won't be signed up for aeration.

Terrible communication along with continual missed and late to appointments. Do not attempt to have a landscaping project done with them, you will never receive a design and therefore be able to schedule or get a project completed.

Great people to work with, their office staff member Christina was so helpful and a joy to work with. We had a billing issue that she explained fully and took care of. She is a keeper, and the gentleman that did the work was absolutely professional, it was a great experience all the way around. 5 star company in my book.

The landscaping was great but I didn't know what day you were coming. In fact I got the notice the day I got the bill. The men who put the design in place did a great job. It is hard work and they did it with a good attitude. The design was well thought out. And she listened to what I wanted.

Amazing service! With a phone call, we arranged service that came to our driveway, rapidly completed. Lawn mower clean as new, with sharp clean cuts and no smoke. We’re delighted and will definitely be return customers. Recommended!

David is a very polite & conscious young man. Talked with him a few minutes about our yard & property since this was our first treatment after signing up with A+. He explained everything very clearly and asked to contact him with any questions. He was very careful spraying near flower beds but still making sure to get all areas of our lawn covered. Great job David!

A + Lawn Service restored the life of my yard. My yard looks great. When I called them the owner explained everything to me and then sent out an email and then paper invoice to explain the services I bought and when they will come. You don't have to be home. They know what they are doing. The people are curtious.

Have had a + for several years and unfortunately been disappointed. My lawn is the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood they don’t even bother to spray the weeds. I get emails they are going to service my yard on Thursday and they come days prior with no notice. Don’t bother to move the kids toys (since I had no heads up) and didn’t spray 1/4 the yard. Time to move on from a+ and find a company that actually cares.

They have been very helpful in getting our yard back in better shape. Had a tech come out and take a soil sample, tell me what the issues were and how to fix them. With the recent rain the yard is looking much better. Also the office staff has been great to work with.

The guy that came to apply weed control was great. He applied the weed control where it was needed. He even sprayed it by hand around where the flowers were at. Great job.

Very disappointed with our experience although we have used A+ for years. We were told that we needed a completely new backflow system for $700. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion the same day—and the other licensed company confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our system. It felt like an attempt to upsell or pressure us into an unnecessary and costly repair. I’d strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major work with them.

We had a scheduled sprinkler turn on that was postponed a few hours - no big deal. The tech didn’t arrive until 7:30 - still not a big deal, but for the second year in a row we were told the back-flow device was broken and he couldn’t turn the system on and we would need to buy a replacement.. we called another company that came out and turned the system on and told us our back flow was working just fine..

A+ then sent us an invoice for all of it so we sent them a message letting them know that none of the invoiced services occurred so we would be happy to pay a travel fee or whatnot but not for all the services they didn’t actually do on top of trying to make us buy ANOTHER back-flow device. Eventually someone said they would be in contact with us to chat about it, we received another invoice and late notice, we still haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone and now they found our credit card from the previous year and just billed it instead for the full invoice amount… still not hearing back from them.

Definitely would not recommend this company.

Had these guys come out to place flags on the sprinkler heads at at a home we just purchase so a fence could be installed. We used them because they previously serviced the home. They did not inform us of a cost. They proceeded to bill us $90 for it. That seems excessive but the work was done. The first invoice I received showed the cost as well as interest and a late fee. Poor business practices and poor customer service. We will not be using what should be called D- Landscaping going forward: you all are far from an A+. Find a better option friends!

Aplus was hired by the city of Clive to do a Soil Restore project on my lawn. I experienced very poor communication from Aplus. They used a compost full of plastics and covered my yard with what I consider very low quality compost.
As you can see by many other 1 star reviews, i'm not the only one who wishes this company never stepped foot on my yard. I've hired other lawn contractors and they have been night and day better.
The photos shows just how much plastic was in a very small part of my yard. Too much to try to pick up.

Abundant Design created a thoughtful layout for my landscaping project. We had a great experience from planning to execution.
