From the scheduling team to the engineers that come to my house I have always recognized and come to expect a very professional and high-quality service delivered. Summit is now my new go to company for all my heating and cooling services. Had to get a quote to replace a furnace. Got two other quotes from reputable companies in town. However, Victor from Summit was the only rep who told me that the furnace was still serviceable and reviewed all viable options. He was honest and practical in his solutions. I have finally found a company I can trust. Very impressed.

We had an excellent experience with Summit Heating & Cooling. Mike gave us a great estimate on what we needed done. He walked us through the payment process, which was extremely easy to navigate. Nick and Javier did a fantastic job installing everything and explaining to us, step-by-step, how to operate our new systems. Justin came out the next day to inspect everything that was installed. We appreciated having a second set of eyes to double check the work that was done. I have not heard of companies doing that before and it really is a comfort to know the company fully guarantees the proper installation and maintenance of the work done. Every single person involved in the project was friendly, respectful and answered all our questions. And a huge thank you to those working in the office who took care of all the paperwork and scheduling involved. You all are VERY much appreciated!

We've had Summit H/C providing services for our HVAC systems for about a year. We've been very happy with them. SH&C communicates extremely well and every encounter we've had with their staff has been positive. Their staff seem happy to work for SH&C. They arrive when they say they will. They are clear and up front with their costs and are never pushy or use "scare tactics" to promote their services. We recently had Ryan at our home to install some additional duct work for air intake to our HVAC system. Work was done in a reasonable amount of time and at the original quoted cost despite a small bit of additional work being necessary. We use and find value in their annual service plan. I definitely recommend SH&C.

Buyer Beware.
I'll start by saying the AC/Furnace we purchased and had installed works well, does what it needs to do, and we haven't had an issue with it yet.

Update from Robert Botz about their company causing damage mentioned in review at Summit: "Summit will honor lifetime warranty, plus an added year of maintenance. Our condition is to remove the negative Google review. If you agree to remove, we will notate on your customer profile for all repairs to be done for the water heaters.

But we paid $4900 for the "Zoning" part, and that apparently didn't include replacing our dampers that were already installed, but are 18 years old. When I asked the sales technician what was included in the $4900 cost he says he can't tell me, and I should have asked prior to install.

We paid $19,500+ for the AC/Furnace. Plus $4900, a little over $24,000 for our 4Ton AC/Furnace. If this is what you're looking for, Summit is fine for that.

The install technician also damaged our brand new water heaters while removing / installing the new AC. (brand new, as in we got them 2 days before the AC install)

Summit is willing to take over the warranty on them and give us 1 extra year of service. For the damage. The sales technician told me on the phone that they are willing to do that even though they don't even know if they damaged them. (The install technician admitted to doing it right after, when I noticed it.)

We've been working on getting a resolution for weeks and keep getting told "It'll happen today." Or being gaslit with "I sent the paperwork." - "I sent it to the wrong email."

The resolution they've given isn't great considering the trouble caused and now has a stipulation attached. And the misunderstandings on pricing that we are being told is our fault, but Mike Barker won't show the invoice breakdown for the Zoning.

Worked with Jim and Brendan! This company is reliable and locally owned. I highly recommend!

Really had a great experience from everyone at Summit from Mike on the sales side, to V and the installation team and even with Keith in the follow up appointment, they all did a fantastic job with our complete Furnace and AC replacement. Each person was extremely kind and never felt like they were pushing to get off the job. They took their time, did the job right and gave a very competitive deal as well. I'm excited to be working with a group that is also staying local and is employee owned. Thanks Summit!

We’ve had really good luck with Summit. Chris, Ethan and Jose were all really helpful. We had an issue that required a follow up visit. Summit came out quickly to fix the issue. Everything is working correctly now.

Omar came as our certified Summit Heating and Cooling repairman today. He performed an annual inspection of all of our HVAC equipment and then gave us a detailed report of what he found. Omar is a fine representative of the company he works for. Highly recommend Summit. Best service in Kansas City.

Tyler arrived on time, knew what he was doing, and made quick work of resolving the AC problem. He had the tools on hand to fix it, ensured the system was cleaned, and confirmed the power, fan, and thermostat were safe and working properly after the repair. Awesome job. They know their trade, they're very reasonably priced, and I'd highly recommend them as someone you can trust.

Dean is must be one of the finest technicians ever to have walked this earth. One of the most valuable things that inspires me most about him, is his ability to take the time needed in understanding the client's needs, and how presents them in an easy understandable language that is not foreign to the common homeowner without undermining there intelligence and with great respect. This man even took the time to perform a complimentary snake camera inspection to make sure that our furnace would be safe for my family throughout the winter months. I wonder recommend Summit Heating and Cooling to everyone!

I highly recommend Summit Heating and Cooling. We were having a problem with our air conditioning unit and I called Summit Heating and Cooling to schedule a service call. They were able to send a technician out THE SAME DAY! The technician - Chris Marshment - arrived around 5pm and stayed until after 8pm in order to resolve our issue. This was absolutely above and beyond!
