Charlie was our technician, he was absolutely awesome, very knowledgeable on what he was doing ! If and when I need to use them again, I hope I get Charlie again ! Great service?

My A/C has been down since last Thursday. Called cooks to get a second opinion on the problem and wasn’t given a bid because there were too many problems. I’ve since been told that any other company wouldn’t have problems because he claimed my NON FUNCTIONAL fire place was wood burning even though it’s gas and there’s clearly a gas pipe leading to it. Thus no bid because “you can’t mix a wood burning and gas burning appliance” so many things overlooked and problems created that aren’t legitimate. I thought the guy was experienced and he clearly is not.

I have had Cooks do my HVAC work and installations for many, many years and the work has always been good, in each of my two homes. The first system in Belle Plaine, a Carrier, still runs good after almost 40 years. My new system at my Wichita home, a Carrier, was installed today by David and Lalo, and they were very courteous as well as competent. I always use Cook's for service also. I appreciate Cook's work.

I called Monday for an appointment, and Friday was the earliest they had so I took it. They called today (Wednesday) with a cancellation, so they told me 12 to 3:00. Technician Ricky got here early at 11:45, checked out the system, found a wiring issue that was preventing it from running, and had my heater running in 20 minutes. He even noticed the housing was labeled with the wrong size air filter and replaced that. I appreciated Ricky and the friendly, professional, prompt service from him and Cook's.

First, I currently rent and landlord is aware of this issue. An employee came to “service” my ac unit about a month ago. At that time, my ac was working amazing!! A few days later, my ac unit freezes. Same guy comes and says, “I’m not sure what I did when I came or if I even did anything. You were my last job over here and I was just ready to be done with my day.” Well, it’s apparent he didn’t add any refrigerant…He states I have an issue that would require them to order a part. A different guy comes out for a 3rd time the following week and states the first guy was wrong about what’s going on with my unit and that they’ll need to order another part. Same guy comes out for the FOURTH TIME and says he has my ac working good and we are good to go. A week later AND…MY AC ISNT WORKING AGAIN!!! Landlord called them. Receptionist called me to schedule a time for them to come out for the FIFTH time. At this point, I’m a little passed irritated. I have to take off during the day to fit THEIR time slots and sometimes they aren’t even on time. I don’t get paid to take off. I feel at this point they should be paying me for my time or working off hours to fix my ac for good! I do NOT recommend this company. The first guy wasn’t friendly. The second guy was friendly but still…I’m having issues. The lady that called about scheduling said she could do 12-3 tomorrow. I said I prefer later as I can’t continue to keep taking off work; this is the FIFTH time now. She had no apology or any sincere in her voice, just stated we can TRY to do 3-5pm. I give them a ONE star for the fact that ONE employee was actually nice. Not sure how they have 5* with all the issues I’m having with them!

I have known Gerry for 30+ years. I have always used him for all my HVAC needs, always great pricing, and the workmanship is second to none. He just installed these three beauties, top of the line Trane systems. If you are looking for a World Champion HVAC company to work with, look no further, hurry and call Gerry.

Great service. Have had Bob Stith do two furnaces and air conditioners at 2 different houses. Made recommendations, corrected duct work that a previous HVAC company had made. His recommendations made a difference in our heating and AC. Always on time, professional and great to work with. We highly recommend Bob Stith.

Absolutely awful. I had to work, so my wife was taking care of this. Did very little work before recommending a new unit. After explaining we weren't looking for a new unit and wanted the part numbers/quote to fix it, they just wrapped up their things and left, leaving no quote and stating that it would be Monday(4 days later) before I could just get NUMBERS. That's absolutely ridiculous. What a huge joke... I wasn't asking for a miracle to have it done in minutes, but I do expect pricing to be done in a timely manner so I can make my informed decisions, not be left without ventilation for 4 days. I've taken my business elsewhere, this was my first and last time calling this company.

UPDATE: I called another company out to repair this unit. It was a capacitor... that's it. I have cooling now. Want a company that will treat you right? Moody Heating and Air did good, honest work for me, and even waived the labor fees after the story I told them. Avoid Bob Stith as much as possible.

We got affordable, same day service on our broken air conditioner! (The other guys couldn't even come take a look for a week...) Tyler, our technician, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast! Would definitely recommend Bob Stith. :)

Jack did a hell of a job and I couldn’t be happier with Fahnestock. Highly recommend!!!
