A water leak inside the house is never a fun experience, especially when it happens late Friday night. We were able to turn off the main valve in the laundry room and realized it was the culprit! Some quick research gave me confidence to call Mr. Rooter and they were able to get a plumber to our house around noon Saturday. Dean was great and apologized for being a little later than expected because he had stopped to help a stranded motorist. Points for Dean! He is personable and efficient. He had the parts on his truck to replace the master valve, cleaned up and tested the flow. Would recommend, will call again.

Dean came out to do a leak detection- he was polite, knowledgeable, and was able to accurately find the leak. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for your help

Needed a permanent solution to the continuous problem of tree roots in an older and compromised sewer line. Did NOT want to dig up yard as sewer line was 8-10 feet underground. Inserted a liner which avoids digging up the yard and restored the integrity of the sewer line. Colby and the entire team were great! Colby was very professional and knowledgeable in arriving at a solution which would work.

We have used Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Lexington (as well as other services in the Neighborly group) and always have been pleased.

Today, Trevor Smith and his brother, Tyler, came to our home to replace a shower valve, faucet and shower head, and to address some plumbing problem areas that had become a concern elsewhere in the home.

For the shower, we wanted stainless steel fixtures, and they went to the plumbing supply contractor, snapped photos of what was available and messaged them so that we could decide before proceeding, which was very helpful.

They returned and set about working. They finished the shower installs and replaced valves, pipes and compression fittings that had become problematic.

It was a lot of work and I expected they would need to continue into the evening. However, they did the new install, the repairs, clean up and explained everything ahead of my expectations.

Trevor and Tyler work well together, are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Each step was explained and I was able to inspect as they went along, and again at the completion of the job when all fixtures throughout the home were tested.

The new shower package is such an improvement, and I no longer have those nagging concerns about the condition of the rest of the plumbing that they replaced.

I tell family and friends that when you can find someone who can do the work, do it well and who doesn’t start changing their estimates in the middle of the job, it’s a genuine asset. It’s why I will stick with Mr. Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and the “dynamic duo” of Trevor and Tyler Smith without reservation.

I called around 730 pm with what I thought was an emergency. I looked on Nextdoor and called/texted/emailed several companies and within MINUTES the nicest rep called from Mr. Rooter. She listened and explained I would get a call first thing once she knew we were set for the night.

Mr. Rooter called first thing this morning as promised - wow. Great concept that I hope spreads.

Mr. Rooter was the only return call or response I received.

Steve Smith from Mr Rooter arrived on time. Before knocking he covered his shoes and first thing took the time to listen. Mr. Smith inspected everything and explained needed repairs and before working provided an estimate.

Not one time did he ask about whether I was filing a claim (similar issue in past and they all asked; keep in mind I received crazy quotes much more than needed work. Like if insurance paying , you will need all need new cabinets experience).

Believe it or not the final price was the quoted price - just honest company with a super nice guy who did a major repair without making me worry.

Steve was very professional and let me know if after the repair during the inspection, if he found something, he would again provide another quote.

Such a pleasure to do business with a company who responds faster than they quote, has knowledgeable polite Employees and got the job done.

Highly recommend Mr Rooter for plumbing needs and Highly recommend Steve Smith.

Anthony was courteous and patient during the inspection, giving me time to take notes. He also took took photos while in the crawl space which was so helpful as getting down there is difficult with my arthritis. The pump was working but I couldn't remember how old it was and it was so rusted reading the serial number was impossible. Obviously it was very old! He did not exert any pressure on me to make a purchase but gave financial quotes (with options). He even gave me the courtesy of answering a question I had about an unrelated issue involving a water pooling in another area.

When he came to install he took a lot of time explaining things and again, was very courteous and respectful. The job took longer than estimated but I did not feel he took "shortcuts" to hurry it along, as I've experienced with other repairmen, and I paid the originally quoted price. I would feel confident using him again if I have future plumbing issues.

I would give more stars if I could. I contacted the office on the website late afternoon on Thursday for a water pressure issue and was contacted the next morning by Lara, then a tech, Steve, was at my door that afternoon. Steve was very professional in appearance and in his knowledge of my issue. He had me back and running quickly and gave me great advice on how to maintain my system. Thank you for a great experience!

Tech replace main shutoff valve to home but cut out drywall to get to the bad shut-off valve. I would have given a better rating, but I have to spend even more money to replace the drywall now to make it look like it was before the job was done. Tech said that they don't replace drywall, but I feel like some money should be taken off for me having to replace the drywall. After seeing someone from the company respond to my initial post saying call back to discuss if there was something they could do but did not give a name. So when I did call back the person who answered the phone did not know what I was talking about. So the rating went from a 3 star to 1 star, because of the management team

At 3:30 a.m. a few days ago I got up and turned on the bathroom faucet. Water gushed out - and wouldn't stop! And we couldn't find our home's water shut-off valve. It took a bucket brigade to keep the sink from overflowing. Naturally, I began phoning plumbers that offered 24 hour service. Mr. Rooter was the first - and I struck out. I succeeded with Pipe Surgeon who sent someone within the hour. I can't speak for the quality of Mr. Rooter's service, but I wouldn't call him for an emergency.

Lead tech Steve Smith represents what I look for in crafts in my day job (industrial contracting). Friendly, knowledgeable, and exudes trustworthiness. Will be utilizing Mr. Rooter and requesting Steve for all upcoming work.

Kevin did a great job. He was friendly, professional, and did the job well. He explained everything to us and made sure everything was working before he left.

Price was very costly to run less than 50 feet. The technician was very friendly an knowledgeable.
The cutting knife on the cutting rooter was only about 2 in and the line was 4. Although the line opened up it only opened 2 in instead of 4

I had Mr. Rooter to come and fix an issue I had with a leaking toilet yesterday (05/20/24) and while the technician was here I had him give me a estimate on how much to purchase and replace my kitchen sink. The quote I felt was very reasonable so I had them return today (05/21/24) to replace my kitchen sink. The technician Trevor Smith was friendly, understanding, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The instillation was done well and in a timely fashion and Trevor did a great job of cleaning up after the work was complete including replacing all items in the cabinet below the sink and in a more organized fashion then I had them originally. This is the 3rd job I have had done by Mr. Rooter and I have been very please with every time I had them to the house to do work.

Steve was great and scheduling an appointment was a breeze. They narrow down the issue when you schedule the appointment & then notified me of when my plumber Steve would arrive right before he left for this job. He was great, prompt and relayed all the relevant info during the process to make sure I was aware of what was happening & showed me visuals. Had a significant drain clog and was given 2 estimates. He preformed the first method and realized it needed the full snake cleaning layed out in second estimate. Sink works great now, doesn’t back up & drains smoothly now. Pricing was reasonable & he worked quick. Very satisfied with Mr Rooter & Steve. Highly recommend!

Steve smith was a very friendly technician and did a very well job fixing our bath tub faucet. I called on Monday and they had him out here the following Wednesday. Price was also very reasonable as well.
