Highly recommend Ace! Easy to schedule and punctual. The inspection team was courteous, personable and knowledgeable. They sat down with me after the inspection to review the report in detail and provided my options and estimates. A follow up email with my detailed report and estimates were sent shortly after they concluded inspection.

Mike and Zach did a great job of keeping our home as they found it, and going into detail about the findings of the fireplace inspection. They were on time and completed the job efficiently.

Ace was fast, and professional. They also didn't charge as much as they quoted over the phone as I didn't know what kind of fireplace we had. So, they are also honest. They got the fireplace up and running and helped me know how to operate it correctly as it was a new to me fireplace. I'll be calling them next time we need something done.

Everything went very well. Michael and his crew were very professional. My problem was corrected and at an extremely good price!

I highly recommend Ace Chimney Sweeps for any fireplace related issues. They showed up on time and were very knowledgeable. Dustin, the owner, helped me by explaining what I did and didn't need and showed me pictures of the inside of my chimney. He answered my numerous questions very patiently. His prices were very reasonable. Again, I would recommend them to anyone who needs fireplace services.

I have used ACE Chimney before and was happy with their work. On 2/6/19, I had an appointment to have my rear fireplace panel replaced because it was cracked, as well as possible cleaning and inspection if needed. I work from home and Dustin arrived a little before 12 noon. It was a busy day at work so I told him I would be in my office if he needed anything. After a few minutes, he told me my fireplace needing cleaning so I okayed the cleaning and inspection.

A little more than an hour later, he was done and the bill was $529. I did not watch him so I asked about how dirty my fireplace was and how the outside chimney was. His response was it was dirty gesturing that a few inches of creosote came out and that the chimney needed some painted so it wouldn’t rust. Also he explained to have a small fire to cure the new back panel but the fireplace was closed up so I did not look at the time. I had to get back to work.

Later that night, I decided to start the small fire and open up the fireplace. I noticed as much as a ½ inch gap with a jagged cut on the left side between back and side panels. I could fit my finger in parts and touch the metal behind (Yes I have more pictures). This upset me especially because this gap was larger than the crack in my old panel which I had been told was getting to be unsafe. As a result of finding this, I reviewed my video surveillance clips. Dustin arrived at 11:52am and left at 12:55pm. He never got a ladder off his truck to get on my roof and check my chimney. He got the poles out of his truck for cleaning at 12:02 and put them back at 12:05. Needless to say, I was upset. I had paid for services that I did not receive as well as got a very poor quality job.

The next morning I called ACE Chimney and asked the lady that answered first to verify what services I should receive for the $179 cleaning and inspection. I was told it includes inside and outside roof inspection, running video camera down it and the actual cleaning. Explained the above including that I have videos to back my claims, as well as expressed my dissatisfaction with the gap and jagged cut of the panel. It seemed unsafe. She said she would talk to Dustin.

Dustin called me early in the afternoon. Went through the above again and let him know I was upset to have paid for services I didn’t receive. He finally admitted he did not get on the roof or run the camera because that is for “mason fireplaces only”. (Why do they not tell you that on the phone prior? Why do I pay that price then? Why did they do all these things last year?) When asking about having the pole out for 3 minutes, he said the fireplace wasn’t that dirty. (Why did he give the impression the day before it was extremely dirty? $179 for 3 minutes?) When discussing the back panel gap and cut, he said they are difficult to cut!! (Isn’t that why I paid a supposed professional to do it?) Offered to patch the gap (I guess using caulk or a mortar type material?!?) but previous panel was not mortared together.

In conclusion, I got a full refund. I never mind paying for professional services I need but I expect a professional job as well as getting ALL the services I pay for. What has happened to ethics and professionalism? Thank goodness for my outside cameras!
I have struggled with posting this review because it is something I have rarely done. My brother though made a good point. If they did that to you, they are probably doing it to others and they should be warned. BEWARE!

Guys came out to give estimate. Were very courteous, easy to talk to and careful of the property. They explained everything extremely well.
Customer service has also been so sweet and helpful. They get back to me almost immediately.
So far, this is has been a wonderful company to work with!!

UPDATE: Installation completed and it's rained since. No dripping noises! They did a wonderful job. It looks amazing. Hubby and I are very happy.
Would and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Absolutely professional, fast, and great pricing! We are in Taylorsville. I called Ace the week before to set up an appointment and they were here on time and finished within an hour for a yearly chimney cleaning and inspection of our woodburning stove. I highly recommend this company. I'm sorry to see it looks like they've had some unfair reviews recently.

Ace Chimney just finished a stunning fireplace in our family room. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Austin Cooledge is a master builder and artist. He and his team were exceptional! We could not be happier.

Michael and Kyle went out to my grandmothers house and did a stellar job! They were both very knowledgeable and explained everything to her in a way she would understand. They were super professional and I highly recommend their services to anyone who is needing their gas appliances checked out! Their office staff was also by far the best customer service we’ve received Chloey, Sharon, and Liz are the best!

We had a young guy come to our house to do an inspection for the buyers. He busted up our fireplace! Never said a word that he would fix it. Now I’m stuck with a damaged fireplace! Not only that he checked the plumbing and tore up our wall in the bathroom upstairs. Tore down our shelving as well. We want to know how your company is going to take care of this horrible experience and horrible situation that one of your employees created. This is against the law for an inspector to destroy your property.

Oh I am a real person that this happened to ! I personally contacted the company & guess what they are trying to push it under the rug ! I’m a professional and business owner myself and definitely wouldn’t be ignoring this incident.

ACE Chimney did a great job renovating my living room fireplace. They finished the project on Feb 16th. I wanted to wait some time to let the finished project sink in before I posted anything. Charles, Ethan, and Austin did an amazing job with their work. They were also great interacting with my 12 year old when she wanted to pass notes to them. They also answered any questions I had during the construction. Would recommend them to anyone that were looking for a new fireplace. Will attach a few pics of before and after. Now, off to the next project, shelves and cabinets along the wall. Thanks for the great new look.

The technicians from ACE answered my questions and were professional in their work . They explained what they found wrong in detail and prioritized issues from worst to minor. Ace Chimney and Fireplace sent a three-man team to inspect and clean our chimney and answer questions about a prospective wood-burning insert. They were prompt, thorough and efficient in performing the work. Mike, the supervisor, showed many pictures of the inside and outside of our chimney, explained the findings and detailed the steps necessary to prepare for a safe insert installation. An eleven-page report was e-mailed the next day. Detailed recommendations and estimates for restoration services were sent, too.
Mike was friendly and took his time answering our questions and pointed out features of inserts to avoid as well as those to seek. He has a wealth of knowledge and applied no pressure to make any decisions. We appreciate Ace Chimney and Fireplace and look forward to working with them.

This company provided an excellent dryer vent cleaning service. The technician was punctual, polite, and very thorough. They showed me the lint buildup inside the vent and explained how dangerous it could be. After the cleaning, the dryer worked more efficiently, drying clothes much faster. I also feel reassured knowing the fire hazard was eliminated. The technician worked quickly but carefully, leaving everything neat and clean. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. Their professionalism and thorough work make them easy to recommend.
