Johnson's Chimney came out to inspect our Chimney & gas fireplace. He was honest, and thoroughly checked on all issues. He gave us a very reasonable quote for all the work and he was very personable. We plan on working with Johnson's to do the job we need. Highly recommend you check them out for an inspection before using a fireplace you have never used before.

The installers, Joshua & Joshua, did a great job with new wood fireplace insert! Called in advance to tell me on the way, moved furniture, used drop clothes, and cleaned up afterwards. Both very nice! Overall great experience!

Christian was very professional and performed a comprehensive evaluation of our chimney. He created a detailed report with photos and reviewed each item with me in detail. I wouldn’t use another service for chimney repair/inspection.

Christian came to inspect and clean our wood burning stove chimney flue (I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms) for the winter. He was friendly, clean, professional, and made sure I understood everything he explained. I will definitely use American Chimney and Fireplace next year.

We had American Chimney come prepare an estimate in January 2026. They took the time to take photos and give us bad news and an extremely high estimate. (Even the cost of the estimate was high) They never followed up, but we called them twice to get the promised report. The second time we received it but the manager that called us back insisted it was our error in not being able to find the report. In the meantime, another chimney company provided an estimate for FREE, sent the report within a few minutes (that we received and reviewed), and followed up with phone calls.

I had a great experience with American Chimney. I had my seasonal service performed and Sean did an amazing job. Everything is good as new and looks perfect going into the winter months. Thanks so much for another quality job.

Christian and Daniel were awesome. I have 3 fireplaces that haven’t been used in awhile that they serviced. They were professional and courteous. They did a great job with the fireplaces they look and run good as new.

Christian and Daniel called ahead and arrived early for my appointment. That's always nice. They were both polite and professional, taking the time to explain exactly what the inspection would entail and providing chimney anatomy 101 so I could understand the work. Christian shared the camera footage with me as he did the interior inspection and explained what we were seeing and what it meant for the condition of my chimney. I live in a 75 year old house and the chimney is original.

Not surprisingly the interior is in need of significant repair and updating to ensure safe use of the wood burning fireplace. Christian explained each step of the process of repair and provided a detailed itemized cost for parts and labor. That seldom happens these days. Though it's never a happy occupance to have unplanned expense, I feel confident about the proposed work and look forward to having a safe to operate fireplace!

Christin came out and looked over my wood burning fire place and gas log fireplace, walked me thru all the issues that I had and explained to me what it will take to correct issues and get me up to code. No pressure to sign contracts just what is needed. Very professional. Would recommend if you need help with both gas log and wood burning fireplaces.
