I began this process with Pelican Roofing because I knew someone that worked for them. With the storm damage I had on my roof, my insurance company denied my claim. Pelican Roofing walked me step by step through the process of challenging the denial by my insurance company, including securing an attorney for my favorable outcome.

Along through this process, my original sales rep left the company for another job and I was assigned a sales rep that I was not pleased or comfortable working with. After speaking with my attorney, he was able to provide a solution by having Pelican reassign me to a new sales person. Rob Noe was the second sales person I was assigned. I can't say enough positive things about him. He listened to my needs, my concerns and my goals. He helped me by providing options that were not previously offered. We discussed my budget and what I was looking for in regards to helping financially with options that could qualify me for discounts through my insurance company, a better roof for our climate here in Louisiana and that didn't constrict to only 1 or 2 color options. Rob was able to keep us within our budget, even with the additional damage found during the install.

My husband and I weren't looking for the cheaper option, we were looking for the right option for Louisiana climate(cause we all know we have 4 seasons in 1 day). That's exactly what we got! I would HIGHLY recommend if you need a roof, inspection or estimate, contacting Pelican Roofing and asking for Rob Noe to be the person to come out. He turned a negative experience to a positive one, so much so that we will be doing gutters through their company in the near future.

After four years of fighting with our insurance company over hail damage, Pelican Roofing was the only company that truly stayed with us and got results. Other claims had been denied multiple times, but Pelican found additional damage and was willing to take on our difficult insurance company.

Tammy was amazing throughout the entire process—she kept us informed every step of the way and never gave up, even when the insurance company initially offered only $1,200 for repairs. Pelican continued to advocate for us until the full roof replacement was finally approved.

The crew showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up thoroughly. After installation, we noticed a small leak near the chimney during a rainstorm. Tammy responded immediately, and her team was back the very next day to help. The issue wasn’t their work, but they still sealed it until a chimney company could repair the pipe.

We are extremely satisfied with Pelican Roofing and would recommend them to anyone—especially those dealing with stubborn insurance companies!

There are a lot of roofers out there, but very few that pride themselves on the work that leads up to the project itself. Pelican is one of them.

Jason with Pelican went above and beyond to get my roof replaced. My insurance carrier is notorious for denying claims. He went to battle for me, showed up at every inspection (all 4 of them), helped me compile evidence I could submit, and answered every question I had. It’s hard to do major work on your home, even harder when it’s an insurance claim. Pelican stepped up and helped me get it handled. Once the job got going, Brandon came over with his crew, was there the entire time to make sure the job got done, and answered any questions my wife and I had. He even cleared areas for us to take the dog out to use the restroom! Communication was fast and accurate, the work was done right, and the process was exponentially less painful solely because Pelican advocated for me the entire time. Can’t recommend them enough!

We have had a great experience with Pelican Roofing with our roof replacement. Jason Laneaux has been a tremendous resource from start to finish. His experience navigating the insurance claim process was invaluable. Jason made himself available for every inspection, documented many things that were being missed and supported our claim. His commitment to the project and communication with both us and our insurance made all the difference.

Brandon Richardson, our project manager, did an excellent job coordinating his crew on site. I couldn't believe how efficiently they were able to strip down the old shingles and install the new roof. Also did a great cleanup job after, I haven't found a single nail with my mower!

I had an outstanding experience with Pelican Roofing for replacement of my 35+ year old roof--a mixture of shingles and flat roof.

I didn't go through insurance, but the price was very reasonable. I got quotes from three companies, and they were all very close, so cost really wasn't a factor.   It was the attention to detail and other intangibles that made Pelican stand apart. It was clear they're in it for the long haul, and safeguarding and delivering on their reputation is of utmost importance.  Their workmanship warranty was also more than double what the other companies offered--5 years instead of 2.

Dion, who prepared my estimate, was personable, thorough, and proactive.  He took time to answer all my questions, and at no point did I feel under pressure. He was accessible and responsive throughout the process and even showed up for the install although it was his day off. I could tell from the first meeting that I was in good hands.

Brandon, the project manager, was ON THE JOB.  He took the mission seriously.  On install day, he was engaged and friendly, and addressed my questions and found solutions for any concerns as they emerged.   As a former manager, I was impressed at how well he interfaced with the crew.  He was in it with them, as if his job was to help them succeed.  And he did.

The crew showed up at 6:30 AM, right when they said they would, and the whole job was completed and cleaned up by early afternoon. The crew was professional and friendly and worked steadily in the blistering heat. Plus, they worked on a Saturday, to accommodate my schedule.

I'm very pleased with the final result.  The roof replacement project has been hanging over my head (literally) for awhile and I feel like that issue is now well handled for the next few decades.

I have no hesitation recommending Pelican for your roofing needs.

The whole process from beginning to end was, surprisingly, a very satisfying experience. I received a flyer in the mail from Pelican, a company I never heard of before. I was in the market for a new roof and was going with the big boys…you know…Premier, Garcia etc. But I called and made an appointment, I was contacted by Dion. Ah Dion…explained everything:

And in the end, the workers showed up on time and began removing shingles at 6:15 am and by 2 pm were finished (I have a small house). Two site managers, Dion and Brandon were on site the whole time.
Bottom line, for me, I highly recommend these guys and Pelican Roofing!!

Love, love, love my new roof! Pelican Roofing and especially Dion Adams held our hands and guided us through the roofing process making it seem easy! The end product has us amazed!!

Roof was done with architectural shingles plus two turbines, typical suburban house for $16,000 with warranty about 4 months ago. We are pretty happy the results! Job was done in one day, with careful consideration with rain. We don’t have any issues with it, and we can request fixes should we find them (we haven’t) at any time within warranty.

Everyone from Pelican was friendly and helpful (Jason, Brandon, Leah). They’ll put the effort in to work with insurance and get proper coverage. If anything comes up, they’ll explain thoroughly with you.

Do not use their service. They will scam you. If you do make sure you have everything on documents or else they will literally screw you over. All the friends we have in city hall and government, I have to told everyone I know to boycott servpro.
