Referred by home warrenty company should’ve checked the reviews. It speaks the truth.
They started off great came right away gave a diagnostic ordered the part .
The Company took a entire month to say the part finally came in , yet never called to communicate that to its customer or to schedule a appointment. only respond to the warranty company when they called them . they would respond with lies and promises about calling to schedule the appointment for the repair. I called from my number and other numbers with different area codes , no answers are returned calls from messages left . Im not sure why they are still in business because business shouldn’t be ran in this manner and shame on American Home Warrenty for referring them .

Ray was dispatched through HWA. I placed a claim around 7:00 AM and he was at my home an hour away by 10:30 AM. I have 3 small kids and had no AC but Ray did what it took to get the repair made that day. The whole family very much appreciated his efforts. Highly recommend.

I was extremely impressed by how quickly Mr. Ray got to my house to check my A/C issue out; within 30 minutes of my call he was at my house. We were having some issues with the A/C cutting off and he got us back up and running. He told me ways to eliminate the problem in the future. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Great Experience! I used Cavin's through HWA. I contacted HWA after 4pm and got an appointment with Cavin's the next morning. HWA kept me updated on his arrival time. Ray arrived on time and greeted me professionally. He was quick but very thorough with the evaluation and repair of the problem. He explained the issue and how to handle any further leaks. He also answered any questions I had about home warranties in general.

Read your contracts and do your preventative maintenance (PM). PM is NOT included in your warranty, however most companies will let you schedule PM through their dispatch system.

Ray was both swift and flexible. I was running late getting home he still managed to come by with no problem. Checked and washed my system, didn't attempt to sell me on unexpected repairs. In and out in less than 30 minutes!

Ray was so professional, prompt and easy to work with. We had our HVAC maintenances and a thermostat wire repaired. He gave us great advice and we plan to continue to use this business for our next home soon. You can't beat professionalism, promptness and fair pricing.

My unit unfortunately quit working and I was assigned to Cavin’s through Lowe’s to replace my unit. The communication was A+ throughout the process and even after. It was a refreshing and pleasant experience granted the circumstances. Job well done!

Cavin’s was referred to me by Choice Home Warranty. My heat pump was not working properly. I asked the tech with Cavin’s to call me before he made the visit to my home. I have a zoned heating system and had Warrenty questions. The tech called and was very forthcoming with me. He answered all of my questions and we decided that he could not help me with my heating problem because the Warrenty company would not cover it. He saved me the $45 service call and any other charges that might have been unnecessary. I appreciated his honesty and would call him in the future if I needed heat pump service. As for Choice Warrenty I could not get any help with my questions.

I needed a new A/c unit and this company was recommended to me. The customer service was exceptional. Everyone was kind and professional from start to finish. I would certainly suggest this company for any a/c repairs or maintenance. Thank you again for a job well done and a much cooler home for myself and family. Thanks guys!

Ray came out, on time, to give me a quote on fixing a couple of concerns I had with my AC unit. He was very knowledgeable and genuine and he took his time to break down and explain my options and the process I’d need to go through instead of just telling me a number like most companies do. Over all, great customer service!

The absolute worse. I have called for service for several months. They scheduled but cancelled because of an “EMERGENCY “. I have called at least 15 more but they won’t respond. They installed it nearly 4 years ago. Now it has stopped even answering. Don’t deal with them. I hope I can find a honest company that will honor warranty.

Our AC stopped working on the 4th of July. I called Ray the next day and he was able to come out within a few hours. I got a text when he was on his way which was great. When he arrived, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get the AC working again. He sent me a text receipt so I could keep it for my records. Very professional and great communication!

Most of the reviews I've read are related to the home warranty program, which can be frustrating. However, Ray at Cavin's AC came out the day after I requested a service call, and made the repairs immediately when parts were available. They were professional and knowledgeable, and provided great service! Would definitely recommend.

This company was assigned via our home warranty HWA. We saw the awful reviews and were slightly skeptical but continued with the process. We submitted our claim yesterday at 4:30 PM and someone was at our house at 9:30 AM the following morning. We received text messages through the entire process with updates and info. When the tech arrived he was prompt and friendly. He checked everything out and showed us the problem and also showed us how to maintain it better ourselves so that we wouldn’t have to spend $100 for them to come out every time. Overall we had a fantastic experience with Cavin’s and would definitely recommend them.

My service was awesome! I actually had a later appointment made by my home warranty but once he saw in the order what my a/c was doing i got a call and they was able to come out that very next day which was very convenient for me! Also he gave me informative information on keeping up my a/c unit that was very helpful and he was very nice and polite. My experience was great and he was accurate and efficient! I contacted Mr. Ray after returning from vacation and my thermostat would not switch over to cool. He advised me that it sounded as if the thermostat had shorted out. I went and bought the exact thermostat and replaced it because Mr. Ray was also out of town at this time. That did not resolve my issue, it actually had seemed to bring forth more issues with my unit. So I decided to contact another company to come out. They showed up and basically by the time they were through, they had tried to convince me that my entire hvac system needed replacement. This did not sit right with me for a system that was only 6 years old. When Mr. Ray returned from out of town he graciously came out to look at my unit. Mr. Ray bypassed the thermostat and was able to figure out my issue. The new thermostat had been miss labeled as to where the appropriate wires needed to be. All because of one wire installed improperly another company was trying to convince me that my entire unit needed to be replaced. Mr. Ray was a true god send to me. He was honest, caring and very knowledgeable. This family owned business is top notch in my opinion and I will continue to support them and do business with them. Thank you!

This company was an absolute pleasure to work with. Getting an appointment was quick and easy. The service tech arrived on time and explained in detail everything that he was going to do. My air conditioner stopped working and it was 100 degrees outside so I was in a panic. I had purchased the unit a little over a year ago from Lowe’s, so I contacted the Lowe’s service provider and was told that repairs wouldn’t be covered since it was over a year. Cavin’s was a lifesaver! They were able to come out quickly and they easily diagnosed the problem and took care of the repair. I would highly recommend their service. Communication was excellent, they came out quickly and during the promised time, and they’re very professional and courteous. This was my second time using Cavin’s, and I will be using them for all of my future AC and heating needs.

Horrible service. Ray has come up with every lie he can think of to avoid fixing what he installed. He has “scheduled” appointments with us and never shows up.

I wish I would have listened to the complaints posted to Facebook. I would never recommend this company to anyone. He’s quick to take your money, but will never follow through with anything he says.
