UPDATE 9/27/24: I am soooo happy to update this review after our first hurricane since Best Services of Louisiana installed our Kohler generator! We have 3 large dogs, 2 cats and 3 kids. It is virtually impossible for us to evacuate with this menagerie. Because of this, the power going out is really my biggest immediate concern during a storm. The power went out, as expected, during Francine. Our generator took over right away!
I can not recommend getting a whole house generator enough to anyone that has the means!
Right before Francine, and after seeing our generator being installed, our neighbors asked us about our experience with Best Services. We recommended them highly. We're happy to have seen Best Services van over there since Francine! We have recommended them to family members as well! Mel, Renee and team are a great mom and pop local company that do great work and make you feel like part of the family.
We have no control over mother nature but I can not stress enough the feeling of relief knowing if a storm comes, we won't lose the food in the fridge, we won't have to be hot and miserable or try to find a hotel willing to house our zoo.
If you can get a stand alone generator, do it! And if you do, use Best Services of Louisiana!

When no one showed up last week to our scheduled appointment in regards to buying a stand alone generator, I called to check on the delay. I'm not sure exactly what happened but they didn't have us scheduled. Mel was very apologetic and made sure we were seen, not only that day, but within an hour. My husband met with Rene at the house and was very impressed with the knowledge and service. We purchased the generator that day. We haven't received the generator yet, but so far we are very pleased with this small company!

Very poor communication skills muddle what would otherwise be a great review. In the off chance that your phone calls and messages aren’t blatantly ignored, you get pretty good technical work. Would love to rate higher if I could.

I am not sure if we caught him at a bad time in his life, but that’s no excuse for the poor customer service I received! After not showing up for the day we scheduled for and texting me after 7PM to try to come the next day (which I wasn’t available) I asked if he could come Wednesday. He never answered. I texted him the next day to ask again if we could come Wednesday and he seemed to have a problem with the day saying “I guess that’s the only time your available.” Yes there are still working people out here! I will be taking my business elsewhere!

I highly recommend Billy Ledet and his company. I contacted him after atrocious service from another HVAC company. He and his crew are the hardest working group. They are knowledgeable and go above and beyond the basics. It is rare to find this kind of ethical and knowledgeable and caring business. We had a great experience with the company. Billy came on a Sunday afternoon, during a heat advisory, to check on our AC. He was responsive on the phone and everything was solved in one visit. Very happy with the service!

I was out of town on vacation and my house sitter told me that my a.c. was out. I called Billy and he passed by that same day to diagnose the problem. And I had to leave my house open for him with no one home. Needless to say there was no problem with me leaving my house open for him. I recommend him to everyone I know; very trustworthy.

My mother found Billy’s company for after a received service from another company. Billy was extremely affordable and came out the very same day we contacted him and replaced my ac unit. I will definitely call him for any other problems I may have at home. He also provides other home services such as plumbing ,drain cleaning ,under slab repairs, all major appliances.

My window unit quit on me during a 113° heat advisory. I called about 15 different people before connecting with Billy. He got to my place within a couple of hours on a friday afternoon and had me ready to go soon after. He was friendly, honest about my options and pricing and had me cooling down again as fast as possible.
