I highly recommend using Maclean’s. I used a different company before and they told me it would be a 3 week wait. Also the previous company, I found out they work on commission and I was told by said previous company that I would need to replace my entire system. Macleans came out and informed me that the previous owner of my home had put in a new motor and that my unit was old but didn’t need to be replaced. It’s hard to find honest people these days so if your looking for honest hard workers this is where I would recommend taking your business.

MaClean's has always done a very good job for me. I renovated my house 3 years ago and they completely re-worked the duct work and installed new units in my 3 story house. They're service technicians are good people . I'm a satisfied customer.

Great service! They were able to diagnose (the same day I called, so fast!), get parts, and repair my heater all while I was out of town. They even found out for me that the parts were under warranty! And easy to contact, great communication.

I have been dealing with Maclean's A/C for going on almost two decades now, for both service/repairs and new installs in rentals and at my home. Greg is very knowledgeable when it comes to solving the hard problems. They respond fast, the prices are fair, and they don't try to up-sell you on on unwanted services after the repair.

My experience was the most less stress I have ever been through Thank GOD!!! Mr Frank and Mr Greg were so professional , They took no time to prepare the work order and get it sent to the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs help getting it started. This is our second time dealing with MacLeans
Air Conditioning. The first time it was to replace our unit & that lasted over 20 years. We were so satisfied that when we did a total house renovation we had them replace the HVAC system . They are extremely reliable, courteous, honest and do excellent work. On top of that, they do neat & clean work. The pride they take in their work shows. I am so confident in Greg & his crew that I would recommend them to anyone, in fact I do. If we ever need anything thing else that MacLeans provides, we will not hesitate to call them. Oh, and he is very reasonable on pricing. Thanks Greg for your Great service.

We have used McClain for over 20 years. So we are aware of their expertise, professionalism and reliability. We invited several bids to install a whole house generator. McClain's was the best. We got our generator months before the other's promised. Prompt response was given to later questions and service request. They even came right after Ida hit to change our oil. You will not be disappointed with McClain

Maclean's did a couple of things for us....new whole house generator, AC repairs and swapped out thermostats. Greg and his team were very efficient and nice to do business with. I will definitely go back to them with any future issues and recommend them wholeheartedly !!

By far the worst experience I've ever had. If you care at all about the equipment's potential for efficiency, don't use this outfit. As oversight on a job he did for a friend of mine, I caught them many times trying to cut critical corners. A couple of non technical examples are trying to leave with a non functioning float switch and insufficient airflow at high static pressure well above manufactures specification. When they first started, they installed the wrong size refrigerant lines (Thank God I caught it) which they had to totally remove and do over. They started the total gut and refit project in November 2023 and finished in March 2024. The elapsed time alone should tell you everything you need to know. I could go on and on. They would have walked away much sooner had I not overseen the job, leaving the customer (My Friend) with an overpriced mess. Although I'm retired from the AC business, I'm glad I was able to be there for my friend to keep him from being robbed. BEWARE!

They will never let you down. Been using them for years. You can't get a better business. They will have you in cold air the same day. And they are honest. If it is just a capacitor, they won't sell you the whole unit and save you a few grand. I cannot say enough about them. Greg, Mike, etc., do a fantastic job. And the woman in the front office is a pleasure to work with.

I have used MacLean HVAC on two different occasions. They arrived as scheduled and performed top notch work in a timely manner. Couldn't be any happier with their service!!! Greg initially provided tons of info on the system that was installed by the previous homeowner. I highly recommend MacLeans!!

Very prompt service,.. they get back to you right away. They have done some tough jobs in tight locations. I have never had an issue .. I now use Greg and his team at all 4 of my properties.. highly recommended!

My AC fan broke at my office Friday morning so I had to send my employees home and shut down that day. I called this company, they send Mr. Jeremiah out same day and he fixed the whole problem in 2 hrs. I was able to open back up and work the day. Shout out to Jermiah!!

I've been using these guys for several years. Their service is consistently quality. They came out same day and rescued me during a July AC emergency and earned my loyalty with that. Their prices are reasonable, and they service my AC unit twice a year. Staff and technicians are always pleasant. Definitely give them two thumbs up!

After Greg installed my original systems 20 years ago I contracted with him to replace both systems and duct work in the crawl space.
The price was reasonable and fair. He and his crew were very responsive and did the work in a timely and professional manner.
I'm an architect and am used to occasionally seeing questionable and shady work (in all building trades). I inspected all the work, even under the house. It was well done, clean and the crew quickly addressed all of the very few issues that I pointed out. I can highly recommend Maclean's.

Our 23-year-old A/C went out in the hottest part of this summer. Mr. Greg came out promptly the next day and gave us his options for the HVAC replacement. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The cost was reasonable, and his crew did a great job. We are very happy with their work and will definitely continue to use his service.

I had a great experience with Mr. Maclean, who was recommended to me from my realtor when I moved into a home without an AC unit installed. David was the technician who came over and he was so polite and thorough. They were so thoughtful, they explained to me what needed to be done and were responsive and quick to follow up. I would trust these guys to work in the house if I was away. I took several business cards to recommend them to others who might need HVAC work in New Orleans. They were honest and didn’t overcharge me, either.

My experience was most wonderful and enlightening on how an air conditioner can cool with a minimal size. Because we had foam insulation in the walls, and also in the attic, it was important to size the unit accordingly to get the moisture out of the house. Both were accomplished through right sizing of the unit and understanding phone insulation principles.
I am pleased to highly recommend their understanding and expertise in this area of new products and technology!

Greg with McLean has maintained our AC units. for several years. His people are nice. He knows what hes doing and if there's a problem they will straighten it out for you. GREAT

I had a pretty disappointing experience with Maclean's. I booked an appointment for HVAC maintenance and received a confirmation email. Then, at the time of the appointment, nobody showed up. An hour passed and I tried to call Maclean's to see what was happening. Nobody answered. In total, I called them four times that day and left a voicemail each time. Nobody answered and nobody returned my call. I never heard back from them, ever.

It was extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise anybody in the New Orleans area to use somebody else for any HVAC concerns.
