I had to get an inspection on my equipment last minute and they were able to come out and meet me next day. Billy and Tre were very professional and easy to work with. I recommend this company for your hvac needs.

I have been trying to get billy to finish the installation of a mini split system in my home since i paid him for the service and work last year November. He was paid to remove the old HVAC system and add 4 ductless mini splits. The old system didn't work at all compressor went bad it took billy until March to actually install the 4 mini splits not because it was hard but because that's how long it took for me to actually get him to come to the house and install them. To this day o have been texting several times a week because those systems have error codes daily and stop blowing air, ice comes out all 4 units installed, he didn't even give me the remote for one of the systems still though I ask him to at least bring it daily. The old system is still here he has yet to remove it. It's been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I've tried to be empathetic and understanding when he had things going on but he is not responding to my calls or texts so unfortunately i have to write something like this.

If you need AC work call this gentleman, Billy Ledet (Affordable AC and Maintenance) He answered my call on the my first try and came to my house after completing another job after 11pm. He fixed the problem quickly and is extremely nice and conscientious. He saved the day, I had water leaking from the attic. He stopped the leak, and I am in a cool house.

Billy is awesome. We had a consistent problem with our unit’s programming and performance. It’d been seen by a few different companies but the problem kept coming back. Billy made sure to follow up with me until the unit was fixed. Even gave me a courtesy call after it was done! I’d recommend Affordable AC to anyone!

I highly recommend this company. We called them today and was able to receive service the same day. We were given a time, and the owner, Billy came through. He diagnosed the problem within 20 mins, and it didn't take long to fix. Our AC is honestly blowing better than before. Thank you Billy!

After 3 different times of HVAC guys coming over to repair our ac and replacing parts that were fine and ruined some of our stuff and told us our compressor was bad and we need to buy a new unit just to make money, we were pretty hopeless and installed window acs because of the heat, our last attempt we called here and Billy came out and tested all the components and everything thoroughly and really went all out for us even showing us how the stuff the guys before him said was damaged like the compressor was perfectly fine and how they wired some things wrong and cleaned our unit wrong. After replacing our motor and fixing the mess the guys before him caused and testing everything, the ac was working again, will never go to anyone else, he really went all out for us and saved us for a very reasonable price.

We called Billy with Affordable AC due to reoccurring issues with our extremely old unit. He answered on the first call we made and was over within 24 hours. He assessed our unit both outside and in the attic. He then sat down with me and my husband and went over our options. He and his crew worked extremely hard and in a timely manner. They were a pleasure to work with. They were in and out, they got the job done and they cleaned up after themselves. Billy came back the next day just to make sure we were satisfied and he made sure everything was working like it should! We highly recommend this company and we would definitely use them again!

0 stars actually. DO NOT USE! Billy doesn't stand his work. He was supposed to come back and fix a vent that didn't work that was paid for, and it's been over a year and he still has not come back. We even prepaid him for another job and he stole our money. Doesn't ever answer his phone, voicemail is always full so you can't leave a message. My husband has reached out many times via text to no avail. Billy also left his temporary ac unit in our driveway and has yet to come pick it up. I will be putting it for sale very soon. DO NOT USE!

WARNING: The individual known as William (Billy) Ledet does not possess a state contractor license and is a liar and a rip-off artist.

He will use a multitude of excuses from his son to tornadoes to car accidents so you feel sorry with him and excuse his erratic lies and behavior.

I contacted the Louisiana State Licensing Board for contractors, and I strongly advise against engaging the services of Affordable AC & Maintenance, the company associated with this individual.

I had a negative experience with William (Billy) Ledet, as he installed a mini-split in my elderly mother's house, which subsequently developed a slow freon leak. Despite the installation being done in late fall, and the cold not being used until a few months later, William failed to address the issue appropriately. He attempted to shift the blame to me as I had to shift the unit off the wall to cover the large opening hidden behind the unit he failed to tell me about.

Subsequently, another AC professional conducted a thorough nitrogen test and identified no leaks near the unit inside.

Throughout this process Billy consistently misled and evaded responsibility, using elaborate stories and supposed medical ailments as a way to gain indemnity for his behavior.

Despite my attempts to address the situation with him, he consistently failed to show up at agreed-upon times and continuously provided excuses for his lack of action.

His behavior has been incredibly unprofessional, and he has demonstrated a pattern of no accountability and consistent unreliability. His conduct mirrors similar complaints lodged against him on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website, yelp, Google, etc.

As a result of this experience, I have taken the necessary steps to file a complaint with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC). I felt it was imperative to bring attention to his unethical business practices to protect others from facing similar issues.

Billy was highly recommended to me and came quickly when my long time, reputable HVAC company could not fix my a/c problem after three tries(very disappointing service from former company). Billy however had the problem fixed in less than an hour. Amazing! Cost was very fair and reasonable. My previous company would have charged double the price. I now have a new a/c company-better than the last one! He even checked on his work with me the next day to be sure the air conditioning was running well. Fantastic service-thank you!! Call him, you’ll be glad you did.

He was good at the beginning but then I don’t know what happened to him. He started charging a lot more than he used to and just come out and charge the unit with Freon. After a bunch of charges I told him “if you keep charging the unit with Freon there has to be a leak somewhere!” He never found any leaks and proceeded to keep charging the unit at every single visit. He also never fixed the buzzing sound in my unit. I would be having the ac failing in the middle of the summer on multiple times. He was just pretending to be “fixing” things and then I would run into the same issue a month later. I finally got suspicious and hired someone else and the new guy told me my unit was overcharged with Freon and had to remove it. Haven’t had a problem ever since and it has been two years.

Billy and his team are the only people I will use for our AC and maintenance needs. Billy was extremely responsive and helped us meet a super tight deadline once our AC unit literally blew up after a major storm in New Orleans. Then he and his team found out there was an issue with the outlet our old HVAC system was plugged into, so they fixed everything, rewired the outlet and made sure that the system would not blow up again. Pricing was beyond fair, and as mentioned, I would never go to another company for my HVAC needs. Billy is our guy and should be yours, too!

I love this company . particularly the Technition Billy he s outstanding! He's extremely intelligent skilled and has a passion for what he does. I had a repair done to a coil in my mini split unit it was damaged by a very incompetent plumber . I had just gotten my unit installed I thought it would be unrepairable when I saw the damage . Billy came and never doubted that he would be able to fix it. I literally had not slept since it was damaged. He worked late into the night to fix my unit he took no shortcuts and by the second day I was up and running he kept his promise he was on time and from this point on I will not call anyone but affordable AC and maintenance do yourself a favor and avoid all of the bogus companies out here if you want peace of mind call Affordable AC & Maintenance and don't forget to ask for Billy he is very honest, outstanding service and very professional no doubt about it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Reached out after paying my invoice twice to schedule an appointment. They asked what time and requested morning and preferably early. As I work evenings, this is the second consecutive time they are a no-show without a courtesy call of not coming. After waking me up this morning claiming they were on the way. I will never recommend anyone to this. Waste of time and money. I will need a FULL REFUND.

Very quick to respond. Cleaned a 30-yr. dirty evaporator coil in place. Cleaned up and charged a fair price. Will use them to do annual checkups of my condo unit. They work on weekends too if an emergency strikes! Not all do.
