No call/no show for no hot water appointment, didn't return calls or voicemails. Typical behavior for a contractor working with a home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty).

This company is amazing! They do great work! Mr. Lowery is very knowledgeable and efficient. The only company I will ever hire to do work in my home!

My home warranty company assigned Lowery Heating Air & Construction to service an issue I was having in my home. My appointment was scheduled for a Friday. I was called Thursday late afternoon and left a long vm about the appt needing to be rescheduled due to a down truck not being out of the repair shop until possibly Friday afternoon. To prevent me from waiting they wanted to reschedule my appt for Sat with a 8-12 noon arrival (even though they don’t do warranty appts on weekends they made an exception). Blah blah blah…..Asked me to text yes/no if Saturday worked? I text yes.
Saturday arrives I realize I never got an acknowledgment for my reply “yes” so I call and nobody answered.
Let’s just say 8-12 came and left …and nobody called or showed up! To impose on a persons time like this is the epitome of selfish and unprofessional. To call yourself a business and operate like this is why you only have 3 reviews (including this) and the POOR ratings.

Technician was very knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions. Even educated me on my HVAC system and how it works. Will be using this company again.

Mr. Lowery is a trusted full service technician. When I think of the words excellence and integrity. Lowery's Heating and Air-conditioning is the embodiment.!!!

Lowery Heating Air and Construction deserves a 0 (zero) for customer service. The technician was rude and did not know how to perform the job - he blew a fuse in my furnace and caused my thermostat to shut down and produce no heat. He caused a problem that did not exist prior to his arrival and refused to explain why he shut the entire heating system down causing my family to freeze. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

They came in early and did a thorough job in fixing my sink. Very great attitude and mannerisms. I’m happy overall with their service

My old AC unit went up in June 2021. My warranty company referred him to me. Due to me having a high velocity AC which not too many people care to work on, Mr. Lowery agreed to work on. I was thankful but believe I was over charged. Due to the temperatures at that time I needed it fixed….yes I know I should’ve gotten a second opinion but was desperate and paid a price for it.

I was quoted 13k and and would be financed through FTL, horrible finance company, high interest rates. When the job was finished he added an additional 300+ and said he doesn’t pay for taxes I couldn’t believe he would do that but he did. About a week or two later the exhaust blew and the air was trapped in attic.

I called and he came. He figured the old duct work blew and needed new ones. He never gave me a price but I asked him how much would it be? He’s said 250. When I tell you I’m now satisfied with the work but not the astronomical price.

As a person he is a nice man and knows his work but business wise, I wouldnt refer or use again. I believe I was overcharged and taken complete advantage of.

This tech does not know how to treat customers. He had a scheduled service between 11am to 3pm to come to my house. So 3pm comes and no one shows and I called the number to see what was going on it sent me to voice mail. The tech called me back after 4pm to tell me he will be 40-45 minutes late due to traffic. So my husband made it home and no one has came to our house. My husband calls the tech again to find out he went to another house to do work and he will call us back within 5 minutes. He called back and rightfully I angry. He said that he had a busy day and did not deserve any attitude. So I hung up! I will never recommend this company. They need to be put out of business IMMEDIATELY!

CJ was awesome! He helped diagnose the plumbing issue, fixed the problem, and explained to us as homeowners how we can prevent the problem in the future! He was excellent.

Please beware before you use this company. The owner Mr. Lowery came out himself to check on my AC unit which was not cooling. It was a Saturday and he said that my coils needed cleaning on the outside unit and the inside unit. After the cleaning he charged me close to $700 for only the cleaning and I asked him for a discount and he laughed in my face and said flat out no. He said that I was already receiving a $300 discount because the warranty company told him to give me a discount. So he charges close to a $1000 for only cleaning the coils inside and out. I was able to speak with 10 different independent contractors to do the same job on a Saturday and it was not close to what I had to pay for. People do your research before you hire this man there are plenty of other people who are not price gouging on their services and will give you a decent and fair price. The owner is a con man.......do not hire from this company.

I wish I could give zero stars! This company is disgraceful and should be ashamed of their business practices. Avoid using them if you can. My home warranty company assigned repair of my condensation pump to them and they didn't show up to the appointment with no communication with me. Keep in mind the appointment was from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM on a Thursday so someone had to be available at that time to let them in. I called and left voicemails with no response. Finally they rescheduled the appointment for a week later. The technician called to confirm that someone would be home and that the invoice would need to be paid on arrival. The technician tricked me into paying him before he arrived because he knew that someone else was home but I was taking care of the payment. When he got to the house, he took a picture of the front door and left immediately stating that nobody answered the door. There are two doorbells and a ring camera that did not capture him coming to the door or ringing the bell. The technician is a liar and I never want to use their service ever again!

DO NOT USE THIS. COMPANY. My experience is very similar to mostly everyone else. He is a conman and a liar. He tried to charge me more than the deductible by adding a service fee and he got rude when I questioned it. He never got back to warranty company to order the new hot water tank. He did refund the deductible when I demanded, but was very rude about it. Reading all the reviews, it looks like we dodged a bullet.

Mr. Lowery was prompt & very professional. He fixed the problem right then; I appreciated that because I had to go to work. I would definitely recommend Lowery's Heating, Air & Construction to anyone.

Mr. Lowery is amazing. His work is like no other and he communicates so well about maintenance and upkeep. I honestly, don't know what I would do without Mr. Lowery assisting me with me home.

I'd contacted Choice to express concern, prior to the service call by Lowery, based upon reviews I'd read here. Each concern I expressed was unmerited. Mr. Lowery was courteous, knowledgable, efficient, and patient. I don't discount the experiences of others, but my experience with Lowery was A+

I had an issue with my heat not working properly. He came out and told me my thermostat and control board was bad. Came back out to “replace” the board and said he spent 3 hours working on my furnace and it won’t work properly. He stated he talked to someone from Goodman and they can replace the unit for free. Then… calls me up and says i would need to pay him $2100. Contacted my home warranty and asked about this issue and they stated I shouldn’t be paying him anything extra. Once he knew I was calling my insurance company he quickly called me back stating “they would pay for some of it so it’s just $1500 that I would need.” We requested a new company to come out and since he has a friend that works there, they put him back on my case. So we contacted Choice warranty again and requested a change. The NEW tech came out, stated my heating wire was disconnected, hooked it up within 30 minutes my heat is working.

Choice home warranty assigned him my case to come out to repair my AC unit. When he arrived he told me the the AC unit was dirty and needed to be cleaned but the problem was my furnace needed to be replaced and he stated the warranty would not cover the replacement. He stated to replace the furnace would be $5100. Then said he needed to add duck work and clean the AC so total would be $5700. He came back the next day to complete the work then said I need a coil and it would be an additional $1400. He left to go get the supplies and while gone I got a second opinion. The new quote came in $3000 less than what this company was trying to charge me. I called him to cancel the service. He sent me a refund to my CC $300 less than what I paid for the deposit. I am making a dispute with my CC company if he does not refund me my full amount. Please do some research before hiring this company. In my humble opinion you may want to look elsewhere before hiring this company.

Our furnace stopped working and our house had gotten dangerously cold. Mr. Lowery got it up and running the same day he came out to inspect the unit. He drove all around town getting the parts we needed, and returned and completed the job even after normal business hours on a Friday evening. So thankful!.

I wish I would have read the reviews before using his services. I too was recommended by him by Choice Home Warranty. My experience with him was horrible. Very Unprofessional. He charged extra for the services than what the warranty company suggested. After asking for an updated invoice and a detailed description of the services that he did. He refused to send a description of what he did in installing my water heater. Stating, "Ma'am I'm not sending you anything else. I've sent the invoice already. I don't understand why black people think somebody has to beg them for everything, never had problems out of white people only my own people". He became verbally abusive and cancelled the invoice stating that he will now only take cash. What I don't understand is what kind of business does not inform the customer of what services they provided in writing. I'm thinking because I was overcharged, and he does not have proof of what the extra fee was for. Too top it off I checked my water throughout the house, and nothing is working. Who leaves and not make sure the water is working. I do not want to be like some of the other customers who had issues with his work after installation and now have no written record of what he was supposed to do. If you read this review, please think twice before using his services if you don't want any problems.

He, Mr Lowery, is not a professional at all. He is not sure what to work on as my water heater is not working. He beat the pressure switch several times using driver while it looks like working for a while. less than 10 min the ignition light goes off. So I asked my son-in-law on overseas vacaction who is a pro tech specializing in AC and heater. I had a discussion with him overseas how to solve this problem. He said Mr. Lowery was scam. He should have replaced the pressure switch on Water Heater. Howeever, He keep insisting on the replacement of the whole system and sent a request for a permission from Choic Warranty only because he see a some water drops like dew outside the tank.

Please be careful not to hire this kind of person. This is exactly like scam.

He took my money witout doing anything. What he did is just beating the pressure switch on Water Heater but it was not working at al because it looks like ignition is on later it goes off.
