It took 3 visits and a few mis-diagnoses but at the end of the day they fixed the problem with my furnace for a fair price. It was frustrating at times because their nights/weekend answering service is not reliable. I think that the Comfort Club membership is worth the money since you get extra support from their service lead, priority scheduling, and discounts on repairs

Last summer our air conditioning system failed, and we obtained proposals from several HVAC vendors, including Amazing Heating & Air. At the time, we opted to recharge the existing system to extend its life, but once colder weather arrived it became clear the system was no longer stable.

When we ultimately decided to replace the primary unit, we revisited the prior bids and selected Amazing based on their local experience and reputation, even though they were not the lowest bidder. They honored their original pricing (which was Amazing) and were able to schedule and complete the installation promptly. The new system performs exceptionally well—heating is more consistent, airflow has improved significantly, and overall responsiveness is noticeably better. The entire installation was completed in a single day.

The installation team was outstanding: professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable -- I can't say enough about how great this team was! They took great care to protect our home before work began and left the space clean once the job was complete. The custom duct adaptation and fabrication work was also top notch.

There was a slight communication issue related to whether our whole-home humidifier would be serviced or replaced, which I mentioned in an earlier version of this review. Amazing Heating & Air addressed the concern quickly and professionally, ultimately replacing the unit—even though servicing it would have been sufficient. Their response demonstrated a clear commitment to customer satisfaction.

Having dealt with other contractors just prior to making the replacement decision, I can confidently say that choosing the lowest bid is not always the best or wisest approach... A full HVAC system replacement requires a holistic view of the company, as you are establishing an ongoing service relationship. It’s important to work with a contractor that stands behind their work and their products, not just their price; which is clearly the case with this group.

If you are on the fence about who to select or are looking for a company to assist with a replacement, I hope this helps in your overall analysis. We did our due diligence and had three comprehensive bids to choose from and do not regret our decision to move forward with Amazing for a moment. That said, I would highly recommend this group for any HVAC project you may be considering -- Especially if you own an older row home in the Baltimore area. If that is the case, this is the group you want to be dealing with as they understand the various nuances and quarks associated with these properties.

Technician Brendan Bussell came to service my HVAC system. He was very professional, highly intelligent about his craft and very personable in his approach. He worked dilligently on the system. Took his time to ensure every necessary parts are working properly with no attempt to sell any unnecessary package. He educated me on the system. I'm very happy with his work. Someone like Technician Brendan Bussell is the readon my service contract will continue with Amazing, plumbing, heating & air.

Had to replace entire heating system in my home. Received quotes from Constellation Energy and Amazing. Both quotes and warrantees were the same but the customer service wasn’t. Amazing was just that, AMAZING! This was an unexpected emergency and we were not financially ready. Amazing not only treated us like REAL people they worked with us and found us a plan we could work with when the other company would not.

I have to thank two AMAZING people that work at Amazing, Alex Bullock who was our initial contact and he quickly got us to who we needed, Mark Crooks (don’t judge him by his name, he is an angel)! :) Both of these gentlemen are angels! We couldn’t have asked for a better team! All appointments, promises, services were on point and time. Follow ups and after hour help was on point. Now they are stuck with us for life. Zach was great to work with. Very honest discussing my system. Arranged for someone to come out tomorrow to discuss possible replacement cost with me so I can make an informed decision.

Antoine checked out my system and found the problem with the heat was related to my thermostat. He promptly programmed it to my wifi and helped me download the app to my phone. Everything then began to work properly. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his craft. I would recommend him for repairs anytime.

I had a well known, unnamed co replace my old heating and AC system about 3 years ago. I replaced my old oil burning system with a new heat pump/oil burning system. The day it was installed the co who installed it had a difficult time getting the turbo exhaust fan to work only when the oil was burning and not when the heat pump was working and never could get the turbo exhaust fan to run for a short period of time after the oil stopped burning in order to clear out any fumes . And again after a recent trip out, couldn't get it right. And all this was on top of a bad smart thermostat that took five trips out to diagnose because the new system wasn't working properly the first winter after the install. After deciding enough is enough I decided to call Amazing Heating and Air and they sent out Zak. I'm tellin ya this guy knows his trade. He took some time to troubleshoot the system and diagnosed the problem. The system is now working the way it is supposed to, how bout that. Zak was determined to figure out what was done wrong and how to correct it. If you own and run any kind of business, you need to hire and keep guys like Zak. Amazing Heating and Air will now do my heating and AC tune ups and services. Thank you Zak and Amazing Heating and Air, one less thing on my to-do list and one less thing to worry about.

My AC stopped working 3 days after moving in to a new home. I called Amazing AC and scheduled a visit to my home 2 days later. I first thought it was the compressor and that it might have gone bad, but it turns out, almost everything else went bad too. To start off, working with Greg during the home survey and inspection was extremely pleasant and professional. He knew exactly what he was talking about and looking for, and reassured me the whole time that what the problem was and how it could be fixed. My previous system was extremely old and poorly installed, and I decided to change out the whole thing and upgrade to something that would be future proof and really make my time here in my new home comfortable for both the summer and upcoming winter.

The installation crew effortlessly removed all the old AC/Furnace equipment and made additional adjustments for the new system. They chiseled bricks around the chimney to make additional room for a more efficient duct system, and cleaned up the mess along the way. I was especially impressed that the installation crew allowed me to borrow some hornet spray to spray around the areas they were working to help them out a bit.

The AC/Furnace installation took less than 8 hours and the new system works great! I was able to finance the new system over a 120 month period with very small monthly payments and I am happy to have the peace of mind knowing I can comfortably live in my new house for years to come. I will start with Greg the salesman, his knowledge of my existing system and what I needed in my new complete system was second to none. (Including recommending the ultraviolet) air purifier for my allergies. Secondly, Anthony and Jamal) the two technicians, were outstanding, very professional, and cleaned up all the debris. The entire install completed in one day. I had multiplied quotes for this work, not only was Amazing the lowest, but I also genuinely believe I would not have gotten better service anywhere else. Scheduled a service maintenance appointment nearly a month ago for today. I pay a monthly fee for biannual service. It’s 5pm and no one has showed for the appointment today. I called multiple times for updates and received no call back. I was contacted on Friday requesting to change my appointment but I indicated my heat wasn’t working properly and needed to keep appointment. Been a customer with this business for over 10 years for 3 different properties, but will be looking for alternatives. This is the 2nd consecutive poor experience with this company. I was charged over $3000 for a HVAC disconnect for a roof repair in the spring. These two experiences are not representative of the commercials this company advertises on the radio. I feel my loyalty to this company has been lost.

Amazing is great! I had an AC issue this summer and a heat issue this week. I called them after hours and they sent out a tech next day both times. Both guys were really nice and helpful. They take pictures of everything and explain clearly. The guy who came to diagnose my heater fixed it immediately!

We had to replace our 20+ year old HVAC in our house. Austin and Chad did excellent work and had it completed quicker than I expected. About six hours and we’re back up and running. All old equipment was removed and the system was tested to make sure I was happy before they left. Extremely professional and competent installation.

Overall a great experience. Had a new dual-fuel high efficiency Lennox system installed. There were two minor hiccups with installation, but both issues were quickly fixed. Mark was excellent with communication throughout the entire process. The company’s prompt follow up to the two minor installation issues makes me very confident that they fully stand by their work.

We used Amazing to install a new HVAC system. Everyone we worked with was great. Michael, Devin, and Dashawn were communicative and respectful. Highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs!

Me and my husband used this company a few years ago when our AC went out and we signed up to be a comfort club client 3 years ago. The service was fine…however ever since we used this company for that service and maintaining it every year multiple times a year we get harassed with phone calls, voicemails, texts, and emails!!! I guess they are selling this spiel about “maintenance”…I don’t want it if I have to be subjected to the constant calls and texts! If I want to schedule an appointment I will contact you! I do not need a call to tell me I haven’t had it done…I know!!!

I was at work and my phone rung, I got a voicemail notification and within 30 seconds a text message was sent! What’s next a rep coming to my house?!?!?

Today was the final straw, I have told everyone I know to never ever contact this company because they will spam you for years. I’m actually so glad they called because that reminded me to cancel my membership with them due to the amount of spamming they do.

Question for the owner or whoever is deciding this is a good method, do you think spamming customers is a good idea? I own a business myself and I would never make my staff do this, it comes off as begging, scammy, and just annoying quite frankly. It’s not the staff fault they always sound pleasant.

Pro tip, customers know their schedules not you! They will call when it works for them!

This will be my last month having this “comfort club” membership I am cancelling it because if I have to be subjected to this as long as I have it I don’t want it. “Amazing” is not the right name for this company but “Annoying” is!!!

my boiler furnace went bufu on New Years Eve...... .scheduled an online appt...and someone actually called me to confirm on New Years day. 2 techs showed up today..the 2nd....btwn 8-12 as promised.....system back up and running..... Very knowledgeable.... friendly....upbeat....and obviously knew what they were doing! 10 thumbs up! would highly recommend! wasnt cheap..but.. . they were here for 4 hours.

Two technicians showed up as scheduled and after a full HVAC system checkup were able to diagnose a faulty component. Thirty minutes later they had retrieved a replacement part from a local warehouse and returned to install and test things out. Both technicians were professional, experienced and made the most of their time, and even prompted me to use my existing manufacturer's warranty. Truly AMAZING service!

This company has terrible customer service. I submitted a contact request form via their website and no one ever reached out to me. I called two times over the course of 5 days with the promise of a technician to give me a call back immediately but never heard anything. It took a third call and another 2 days before I finally received a call from Amazing Plumbing, Heating & Air.

Alex Bullock from Amazing Heating and Air did a great job fixing my heat pump. Alex diagnosed the problem and made the repair in a timely fashion. He was courteous and very respectful
