He came in ON TIME. Punctual. Calm. Professional demeanor. Respectable and Respectful, both. -- My sink had been leaking profusely underneath, for quite some time. I tried to have my son fix it, he couldn't. I looked at it, seemed simple --- wouldn't didn't stop pouring out the drain pipe. He came in, simple fix (for him) and was in and out. I paid his whole fee, plus a tip. -- I didn't pay him for how easy/how quick it was (for him) -- I paid him because I tried to fix it and couldn't do it; I paid him because he provided professional peace of mind. I'll be using him again if we have another leaky problem.

Stokes plumbing saved the day! Our sump pump failed in the midst of a rainstorm, and our basement was flooding faster by the minute. Steve was out to our home just 45 minutes after I called and removed & replaced our old pump in under an hour. Stokes will be our first call for work going forward.

Wow, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised working with Steven. He was amazing!! He was very fast in replying to my messages and was patient with me and my business partner. I love the fact that I could text him and he would reply almost immediately ( Im a millennial and talking on the phone is the last resort). We had a plumbing emergency at a rental property and he was able to fix it the next day!!! He replaced the toilet and tub in a few hours. The work looked great and all for a reasonable rate...Most importantly unlike other contractors who leave a mess after they are done, Steven did not! You would not have believed a contractor had been there. He is fair with his prices and does not price gouge. I highly recommend you calling him if you need plumbing work.

Steve responded to my call promptly. I had a really bad clog in my drain pipe he was able to resolve this with no problems he has done other plumbing projects in the past. I would highly recommend his services.

Stokes Plumbing and Mechanical just assisted our family with installing a new water heater when the old one sprung a leak in the inner tank. The whole process was smooth and professional. Great communication, punctual, and knowledgeable in his craft... Steve was great to work with and even came back on a Saturday morning to help us avoid a weekend of cold showers. I reached out to Stokes Plumbing & Mechanical to check out my furnace that my tenants said was not working. Someone got back to me promptly and scheduled a time to come check it out. They diagnosed the problem and was able to fix the issue immediately and all is well. Also, I was not charged a ridiculous amount of money. Which is always a good thing. 🙂

My water burst, of course unexpectedly. After BGE gave me a quote and another company quoted 3200.00, I went to chat GPT to ask for a reasonable plumber in my area. Stokes Plumbing & Mechanical happened to be the 1st one to pop up. Reluctantly I gave them a call. The quote was way more reasonable. Made an emergency call to Howard County and the plumber arrived promptly. Very curious and professional. Sink backed up do to clog. The tech cleared the drain via electronic snake. I would recommend to anyone in need of professional plumbing service.

My technician was Steven and the services he provided were impeccable. I scheduled my appointment with the representative for Tuesday afternoon but Steven called on Monday inquiring if it was an emergency and that he could stop by on Monday evening if it was feasible. I agreed and he arrived with in 15 minutes. He patiently answered all my questions, explained everything he did to identify the problem with my leaking water heater and performed the repair quickly, and thoroughly ensuring that my home had running hot water without leaks before leaving. The cost for the repair services were fair and affordable and I was not pressured to entering into any contract with additional fees like some of the other competitors. I highly recommend Stokes plumbing and mechanical and Steven for hot water tank plumbing.

I flip houses, and after the plumber I worked with for years retired, I began looking for a reliable, local plumber who wasn’t part of a large company with high overhead. After reading the great reviews, I reached out to Steven. He responded quickly and came out to assess the work. He completed the initial job efficiently, at a very fair price, and was extremely professional and friendly throughout the process.

I found Abbott brothers on the Thumtack app. I requested 3-4 contractors and they were the first to respond. Like seconds after I sent my request. Almost creepy quick. lol.

They stated they charged for estimates ($30) but it did not matter because my Mom wanted the shower leak to stop. However I was told they would wave the fee if I selected them for the job. They sent out an estimator the next day… name was Mike. My names is Myke, my dad Mike soooo already in the club. Cool professional guy, estimate was roughly $20 north of the actual… that’s pretty good I’d say.

Though I was out of town at the time the work was performed my parents reported back that their work was exceptional…. and that’s not an easy mark to hit with my parents. My mother told me she asked if they had boot covers the “young fellas” (Dalton is his name… I don’t know the other “young fellas” name…) my mothers words btw… she said they did not have boot covers but happily took off there boots and worked in socks “ as if they lived here”. With no hesitation… she loved them guys.

The fact she didn’t complain about a mess being left behind nor there was no mention of any ill performance says a lot about the company and the people you employ. Work done with care and precession…. (I hope the young fellas are working towards their journeyman credentials) Well done Abbott brothers!! Highly recommended!! I can't comment on price as I didn’t get a second estimate, however my parents response was gold and that’s worth any amount of $.
