Constraction reviews in Laurel, Maryland

We contracted Gil (Monnot Construction) to repair the wood rot, trims, and fascia around our house and we got nothing but professionalism. Gil was very easy to work with. Answered all our questions and made good practical suggestions. 10 out of 10, would recommend to a friend. We definitely will use Gil and his team for future projects.

I really appreciate the professional work Monnot Construction Company performed while they replaced my roof. The professionalism and the expertise on roofing made me glad I chose Monnot Construction as the contractor. Tony and Gil were on the scene and oversaw the Job through completion.
The roof was replaced in the same day and I was please with the way it was installed and the gorgeous roof I had when it was completed. I would recommend Monnot Construction Co. to any one who was thinking about replacing their roof. Happy Customer- Cynthia Lucas

Very professional and does good work. I had deck work done but the original job was not up to code, Gil did an inspection and brought my deck up to code. We had windows installed and the crew does good professional work. Gil is customer service oriented and shows a lot of attention to detail. I would recommend his services to everyone.

We had some damage done to our roof from a storm. We contacted Monnot Construction. Absolutely amazing! We had a response and a quote within a day. They handled everything with the insurance company, leaving us with no hassle or worries. Our roof was completed in one day. Gil and Tony were fantastic. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. They were continuously cleaning up as the roof was being worked on. When they left it was as if no one was ever here, except we have a fantastic looking new roof! We would absolutely recommend this company! We already plan on using them again soon for a separate job.

I had an amazing experience with Gil Monnot! He transformed my closet into my dream space, and I wholeheartedly recommend this company for all your remodeling needs.

We called Monnot Construction about a couple leaks from storm damage. Upon repair, they discovered more extensive damage caused by inadequate ventilation. (Thanks, roofers hired by previous owners for not bothering to install any baffles. Ugh!)

They did a temporary repair and then wrote up an estimate for replacement. The estimate had options and they fully explained each one. Gil from Monnot Construction met with us both over Zoom, and in person to answer all our questions.

They gave us a credit for part of the repair cost when we signed up for the roof replacement. They worked around our schedule needs without complaint. The roof crews were on time and efficient. They did great clean up. No nails in the yard or driveway. The follow up from Gil and others was prompt. We had one minor post installation issue and that was resolved quickly.

We chose Monnot Construction to do the original estimate of the repairs based on several recommendations from friends. I am glad we did. Their prices are reasonable, their service is excellent, they offer a great warranty and the quality of products and work is outstanding. We have 0 regrets, and would recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs or installation.

We recently had our roof replaced after it was severely damaged in a wind storm. We chose Monnot Construction, LLC based off their online reviews and were not disappointed. We worked primarily with Tony who was kind and helpful from start to finish. He was easily accessible and was able to help us navigate filing a claim through our insurance. The crew was professional and very efficient- they were able to finish the job in one day! Monnot Construction was also willing to work with us and allowed for payment after we had received all of our insurance money. We have had several neighbors stop to tell us how nice our roof looks- something I would have honestly never noticed before! We would happily recommend Monnot Construction to our family and friends!

Monnot Construction did an amazing job renovating my living room and kitchen. Gil walked me through everything. They first gutted out my living room and dining room and then dry-walled and painted it. This gave me the open concept that I was looking for. Gil also has great relationships with other businesses, and I got great prices on my custom counters, granite, and electrical needs. Gil has become like family. I am going to renovate my basement next and trust no one else to do the job except Monnot Construction. They do outstanding work!!

We hired the Monnot construction team to build our second restaurant. They built everything according to the plans; they handled everything—plumbing, electrical, fire sprinklers, and building—from the beginning through the end. We recommend Monnot Construction for your commercial project 100%.

We recently used Monnot Construction To build out a retail space, including framing, drywall and finishing… The work was done efficiently, and the space was ready for our grand opening without any delays. Gil is a man of his word and his work speaks for itself. The best of the best.!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Monnot Construction for our commercial bathroom repair. From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They diagnosed the issues quickly and provided clear explanations of the repairs needed. The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard, leaving the bathroom looking and functioning like new. I appreciate their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend for any commercial plumbing or bathroom repair needs!

With the recent storms, we had rain pour through the arch in our front door. Monnot was working on a project at our neighbor's so I reached out to discuss our issue. Gil quickly responded to my email and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was very professional with scheduling, by sending an appointment email and calling 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He presented options and the work was done the next day. Great service. I highly recommend and will reach out for other project that may need to be done in our home.

I cannot say enough about this company and its owner Gilbert Monnot. The work was better than I have had in the past at a much lower price. Better work + Lower Price= Win Win.
As you can see in the pictures, the living room walls and eletrical has to be removed due to water damage and the methodical and going the extra mile (cleaning of mold, building more stable wall and insulating) saved me time and money in the future. Hard wood floors...Spectacular and thousands less then commercial companies. Plus, the founder Gilbert Monnot supervised each project, giving you a sense of small-town closeness, much like I received from the good people of Maine before moving here.

I am beyond ecstatic with the work the team has done. We needed our kitchen to be remodeled with new cabinets, floors and lighting after we had some water damage. From beginning to end the team was a pleasure to work with. Gil provided recommendations on where to get cabinets, floors as well as counter tops. I can’t say enough, if you’re on the fences call Gil.

Monnot Construction has provided excellent and professional services to my husband and I as we prepare to move from our house. All work was done with expert level craftsmanship and all of Monnot’s employees were very punctual and efficient.

Highly recommend for any home projects!

We contacted Monnot Construction for our commercial repair project, caused by water damage. The work crew was exceptional; they finished the job on time and perfectly. 100% recommended. Great company and great workers.

The Monnot Construction team renovated 3 bathrooms in my house over the past few months. The team was extremely reliable and the quality of the work was very good. The prices are also reasonable. I would hire them in the future when I want to have additional work done on the house.

I am sooo very happy with the workmanship of Monnot Construction. We hired them to build a Sunroom Addition, and they did a Phenomenal job!!!
