We've been having issues with our pressure for months and recently got our water heater replace through our home warranty during the installation it was discovered that our pressure regulator and main shut off valve wasn't working properly. The plumber who install our water heater wasn't great at communicating and canceled multiple appointments and had a lot of rework. The home warranty sent out several different plumbers but because it was connected to our backflow system.

I found 1st Choice Plumbing on google and first read the reviews which are all great so I decided to reach out. Jason came out the next day which was a Friday. As soon as he walked in, he knew the system, parts , etc. He even did researcher into a part connected to our system. I received my estimate on Monday night, I called Tuesday and they came out Wednesday morning. It took them less then 3hours to correct our installation of our water heater (re-piping) , replaced our pressure regulator and main shut off valve, and tested our backflow preventer system.

Great service, communication, staff and overall company. I definitely recommend and will be using for any future plumbing services! Thanks again Jason and Donald!

I thought I had a clogged toilet and called 1st Choice to come fix it. I had used the company once before for a water line hook up and they were great - very nice, very professional. It turns out I did not have a clogged water line but, instead, had a break in my sewer line from the house to the grinder pump. 1st Choice came out yesterday with a snake and a camera so they could pinpoint exactly where the problem was. Today there were back at my house with their backhoe, dug up the pipe, fixed it and put my yard back to pre-work conditions! I couldn't be happier with the timeliness and quality of the work. 1st Choice was responsive, quick to schedule, arrived timely. The team is a pleasure to work with and knowledgable for assessing the issues. In fact, saved us $200 by fixing a minor issue vs replacing the faucet. Highly recommend them.

Called Jason from 1st Choice a night ago after losing heat in our 2-zone baseboard heating system and he was able to get it back up and running on short notice the next day. He ran full diagnostics and showed great expertise in what future repairs would be needed. Will definitely be calling for future plumbing/heating projects!

Used for Backflow Prevention testing, he noticed my heater was not functional it should and needed a part replaced. He gave me a price, got the materials and installed it within a few days. Very professional and a great attitude. Highly recommended.

Always a fantastic experience! Not only did they replace our sump pump and explain every step of the way but they found a small gas leak and immediately fixed it for us! I would recommend working with them to anyone!

Typically, I don’t leave reviews but Jason is the type of guy that you have to get on here and appreciate. He was very informative, showed me everything, and even had some recommendations that I could do to service my tankless water heater on my own or he said I could call him and he’d help me out. That’s the type of service that will keep you in business for a very long time. Stop looking, Call Jason and let him take care of you. Plus he’s very reasonable on price! Definitely giving him a call for anything I need in the future!

Jason completed the required Backflow Testing and Certification for Anne Arundel County. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained why the county requires the test and the importance of testing to make sure the system is ready for service. Really appreciated the information he provided on how the fire suppression system works. Would recommend him to anyone who needs the Backflow test performed.

He will also be my first call for plumbing needs in the future because of his professional and courteous attitude.

I recently became aware that our fire suppression backcheck valve was not registered with the county. I contacted Jason and was able to quickly schedule an appointment. I had him fix the water heater system coils, I called and explained the issue over the phone and he quickly understood the problem and recommended the service and his fair charges.

While he was fixing the issue the very same day he explained the importance of back-flow water testing and then I got it tested that as well.

Jason was prompt with getting back to me. I was convinced that I was going to need to replace my water heater but Jason's knowledge allowed for a much simpler fix. He and the apprentice were able to squeeze me in and a busy day which was more than I could have asked for. Both him and the apprentice were professional and courteous.
