I was very happy with the HVAC technician that came to my house They came out the same day as promised and was very impressed about but his ability to trouble shoot my problem with my gas furnace. He fixed the problem and took time to explain my problem and the price was very reasonable. Thank you Gassco !

I am surprised more reviews are not listed. Our furnace stopped working after installing a Google Nest Learning Thermostat. I have no bad words to say about the Nest but it seemed to not be compatible with our old unit. The furnace stopped pushing out hot air on Monday. Called Gassco Bernie came out the next morning did a diagnostic test. Turns out new furnace. The old one was getting up there in age 15 1/2 years old. Bill (the owner) called me less than half an hour after. New furnace installed same day with a full crew. Job was done efficiently, crew were wearing masks and followed COVID protocols, and cleaned up. Within 5 hours we had a new furnace. I like to say we got the TESLA of furnaces. Definitely an upgrade to what we had. Bill explains everything if you have questions. Tells you the prices right out front and has great communication. The best news was our furnace quote was priced with a new Honey T6 Programmable thermostat and a carbon/smoke detector in the basement. Added prize a $1,000 rebate on the furnace. After our furnace was put in I called Bill the next day because of a buzzing sound I heard. Not only did he come out once but twice. This is personal service at its best. You can't go wrong with this company. Support small and local businesses. Side Note: Bernie installed the old furnace. It was prior to us buying the home. Just shows the commitment of the company by keeping qualified staff on board.

Having recently moved into our new condo, we found our old heat pump (that handled AC and heating) was extremely worse for the wear. It did not produce AC, barely produced heat, & had excessive physical wear/tear since it was built in 1983. Gassco disposed of the old heat pump, damaged ducts in our attic, and air handler so we could start fresh.

The new ducts and air handler they installed in our attic are so much more well organized and better designed to distribute airflows throughout our condo. They painstakingly worked to achieve this impressive organization (including test after test to make sure they got it right) over the many hours I watched them dedicate to the task.

The outside heat pump was equally impressive, as they completely removed the old unit, electrical lines, and refrigerant lines from my crowded deck, then installed new ones at the edge of my yard. Moving the unit off the deck was a much-desired feature, as the old unit took up way too much space. We want to enjoy that space & entertain friends on it. The new refrigerant lines (running from ground to attic) were covered up cleanly along the side of our condo with a brown metal enclosure that matched our rain gutters. It simply looks like we have 1 more rain gutter on our condo, no unsightly wires/pipes.

The technicians were extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. They explained exactly the type of equipment we needed, how long the work would take, and answered any questions we had along the way with a friendly smile. I cannot overstate the strong work ethic they demonstrated. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Of course my hot water tank decided to quit after only 6 years…

I called Gassco in a panic and Jim (one of the owners) answered right away. He came out the same day, inspected the tank, gave me the straight story on costs, and had me scheduled for a replacement the very next day.

Chris (the other owner) showed up with his assistant Aiden, and between the three of them they made the swap look easy. They were fast, polite, and knew exactly what they were doing. They even gave me a crash course on how to drain the tank regularly to help extend the life of the new one.

Imagine coming home from work late in the evening only to find that your heat is out on a night with negative wind chill factors and it is 60 degrees inside! After contacting many companies unable to provide an immediate response, I was lucky enough to reach Sean at Pro Heating at midnight. Yes, for real, midnight!! He had me take a video for a diagnostic test of my furnace to determine the issue. He was at my home the following morning when the temp inside was now 50! Sean's comment was, " I would never leave anyone out in the cold!" He was very professional and explained what work needed to be done. Heat was restored in no time!
