My A/C went out in the middle of summer. I thought I would have to go a couple nights sleep with a fan on me but Gassco's emergency service showed up and fixed my A/C the same day! I was very happy with their response time and knowledge.

William Gassco (Bill) is an extraordinary manager. He's honest, hard-working, and knowledgeable. His team includes (minimally) a master electrician, plumber, as well as apprentices and journeymen. The entire team seemed to learn from and enjoy the complexities that my home presented. They worked six days, beginning each with the laying down of clean white drop cloths and ending with vacuuming all areas where work had been performed. Every part of this complex and at times difficult job was overseen by a manager. As examples: positioning a large and heavy condenser in a "pit" ten feet below ground level; installing an HVAC unit and water filtration system in a very small space; and running split-duct cable through small spaces and along a deck four stories high.
There is not enough that I can say about GASSCO, Inc. I am normally a highly critical customer who doesn't hold back. With Gassco, Inc. there just wasn't anything to get mad about!!

Gassco recently installed a new furnace and duct work. They were prompt with the scheduling and stayed on target with the price. We will use them in the future. Highly recommend.

I have had Gassco out to our house 2 times. The first time, last year, during a heat wave and on a SATURDAY! They came out within 45 minutes and replaced a burned out compressor.
Now, I called them last night (late) and left a message, they were here at 2. We are in the middle of a 5-6 day heat wave and it's a friday. I don't know how they managed it, but they came out and were friendly, patient and quick with the repair (Burned out electrical connection due to dirty filter from renovation- my fault!).

Gassco has been taking care of our air conditioning and heating needs for years and we have been very happy with their professionalism, competence, fabulous employees and the high level of caring about their customers. They really know their stuff and so do their tiff. They thoroughly clean for they re done.

Recently they tackled a very difficult heating issue (that they did NOT create) and after the initial contracted payment they returne numerous times and did not charge for their labor. Our house is over 100 years old land a really challenging but they managed to fix all the problem. Even though we called them many times over this heating problem, their response was consistently kind and they bent over backwards to help us. You will never find a better company for your heating and air conditioning needs.

My forced air gas furnace system and AC was installed in 2005. The furnace died and the AC system was end of life so my whole system had to be replaced. I got quotes from greenenergymech.com, dempseyenergy.com, bostonstandardplumbing.com, sila.com and gasscoheatingandcooling.com.

Sila and Boston standard were both crazy expensive. Dempsey was the lowest quote but the equipment wasn't the best and the quote didn't provide much detail. Overall Gassco offered the highest quality equipment at the lowest cost and a clear signal of quality. Green energy would have been my second choice price/equipment.

Gassco were able to start the install three days after I accepted the quote. It took two full days to install with a team of 3. They were punctual, did high quality work, and cleaned up great. I couldn't be happier. The system is so much better than my old one.

I received 5 quotes to replace my furnace and central air.  Gassco stood out among all the others.  Bill, the owner, came out and was the only contractor who took the time to listen to my concerns.  He was the only one to do a manual J load calculation and properly size the equipment. (The others all quoted "like for like" equipment despite the fact that my 1997 furnace was oversized). Gassco's proposal/quote also stood out for its clarity in a fair and reasonable price and work to be done.

The Gassco team has great communication and answered all my questions along the way.  They are very knowledgable, skilled, and professional.  Everything looks great. The high efficiency furnace has made my home much more comfortable and I am looking forward to saving on energy bills as well as a MassSave rebate.

Great experience from start to finish--professionalism all the way. They installed a combo ducted/ductless heat pump system, replacing an oil heater. Quality workmanship, solid communication with us during the process, no hiccups on the billing or rebate process. A special shout-out to Bernie, who led the crew so capably. And of course, thanks to Bill for leading the way.

Gassco Inc are truly the most professional and knowledgeable in what they do. We bought a new house that needed a FULL upgrade of HVAC and water heater as they were old (talking 30 years old on the HVAC). I found Gassco Inc through Mass Save, and after having several companies come out to talk to us about our options it was very clear that Gassco Inc was far and above the others as far as experience and knowledge. We have been extremely happy working with the team especially since I knew next to nothing about HVAC prior to this process. Would highly recommend them to anyone else for plumbing/HVAC needs.

Excellent service! My mother used GASSCO for years and they kept our heat pump / air con going through tough winters and hot summers. I recently had them install a new hvac system and was very happy with how easy they made a complex job. Bernie was our most frequent worker and he’s great. We asked several companies to give us estimates on installing a new whole-house ductless heat pump system. We were worried because the system we currently had was installed poorly by a company that talked a good game but did such a horrible job that there was no way to repair it. GASSCO’s estimate was by far the best one, and it included all the steps and timelines for the work. Bernie and Nathan and the rest of the team explained what they were doing every step of the way. They were extraordinarily careful and respectful of our neighbors’ space and their sleeping babies, and worked around our stranger-phobic pup. When there was a little hiccup with the install, Bernie responded immediately and made it all right. From start to finish they were friendly, on time, took the time each day to do a thorough cleaning, and in every way made things as easy as possible. We definitely recommend them to everyone.

Gassco removed my old cast iron radiators and boiler and installed a Mitsubishi VRF heat pump system for my whole house. The entire experience was excellent from the first meeting through installation and clean-up and training. I would highly recommend them!

Gassco installed a new central AC unit and duct work into our house this summer and the process could not have gone better. Bill came out for an estimate and recommendation for a new unit for us. He is honest and very knowledgable. The Gassco crew came out the following week to take out the old unit and ductwork to install the new unit. They started on time every day, worked efficiently, and were all done in the time we were told. They were very polite and hard working. We used Gassco again in the fall to reinstall/renew some of our faucets and to install a vent into an older bathroom. Again, very reliable and great work! I would highly recommend Gassco.
