Incredibly fast, knowledgable, empathetic, kind service. David cares about his customers. I am so grateful to have found him and am pleased to recommend him.

Called Duda Enterprises and after talking w/owner David clarifying what the service call for no heat on an eight yr. old American Standard HVAC unit would be, usual charge is $100 not sure reason but for me it'd be $85; old enough to sniff mine fields and should've just gone w/next tech right then and there but figured what the heck this guy sounds sincere besides, was getting kinda late @7pm.
After groping around for about an hour, clear indication he was just wasting time setting up for the kill comes up w/diagnosis of faulty ignitor probe, thermocouple in layman's terms, same temp probe that's used on hot water heaters.
Instead of troubleshooting original probe that was and still is working only not perfectly(?) perhaps all it needed was to be slightly repositioned or have screws tightened as they do loosen up in time due to heater’s vibration, a new one he felt would be better and lo and behold there is one in the truck. Genetic $20 ignitor was installed and repair bill was presented for whopping $250. When protested that it was way too high and that the norm is to at least back out the service call of $85 since he did the repair, he wouldn't have any of it, trying to convince instead that $250 was a reasonable charge for that service call/repair.
Duped again, or so I felt despite the fact that have been in apt remodel/mgt biz for about 40yrs but you know what, firm believer of what goes around comes around.

Lesson to be learned here is to do your due diligence especially in today's world w/internet being very powerful informative tool, compare prices and careful not to fall prey.
Needless to say, will never call Duda Enterprises ever again nor recommend them to anyone.

Dave from Duda enterprise is a great person to work with and a local , we had our home heat suddenly stop working , Dave came in pretty quickly and went above and beyond to check and replace old wires and also got my automatic water feeder up and running that never did and all now perfectly up and running , Dave is my go too for sure

Dave responded to my call and showed up on time to fix my ac during this crazy heat wave we had this week. He was very thorough and helped isolate the issues, and fix the problems. Very informative working. Highly suggest him if you need HVAC work done.

Today my Burner stopped working l called Dade,he came within hour to my house in Stoughton. I was very please by his work he's reasonable ,professional and very knowledgeable, he took time to explain everything, if anyone in the South shore need a good sincere person call Dave .l

Dave's the best. When I first moved into my home, the 30+ year old boiler broke the same weekend during the middle of winter. He came out within a day, and not only fixed it but has kept it running like new when any other company would be pushing me to replace the entire system. Cannot recommend him enough.

My heat broke of course on the coldest week of the season. My neighbor gave me the number of Duda having used them before with awesome results. They came out very quickly and were able to diagnose the problem and replace my broken thermostat right away! Very professional guys knew exactly what they were doing and had the parts right on their truck. I think they are very fairly priced and would recommend them to anyone!

I phoned from Canada on behalf of my elderly parents who live in the South Shore. Their water heater was leaking and they didn’t know who to call.
The folks at Duda were extremely helpful and understanding when I explained the situation. They got to my folks’ place in timely fashion. They were professional and their work was excellent. My folks were very pleased and relieved.

One of the zones in my house had no heat. After looking for someone to come assess the problem, I came across Duda Enterprises and decided to give the company a try. I called, explained the problem and they were here within an hour and a half. When they arrived, the problem was diagnosed very quickly... a bad zone valve. They replaced the valve and were done within 20 minutes. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. Dave and his associate were very professional, upfront, timely, and very personable. I highly recommend Duda Enterprises if you want professional, fast, efficient, and friendly service. I will definitely use them again. A's across the board.

Ac system stopped working a couple of hours ago. Place a call to Dave. I truly didn't think I would of gotten a call right back due to the heat wave. Dave returned my call right away. Within a hour Dave and his assistant showed up. They found the issue quickly and had my system up and running.

Extremely impressed with David and his crew's professionalism and commitment to solving their customer's problems with reasonable prices! For whatever reason, Boston is facing its worst heat wave in several years and of course two out of my three hvacs borked, leaving me with a mostly hot and humid house. I had another HVAC tech scheduled, but him and his crew fell sick in the heat and cancelled on me and other customers. That tech referred me to Duda Enterprices and I was a bit bummed at first because I hit voicemail the couple times I tried calling. I figured he was swamped as the other 5-6 companies I called after and accepted that my units would not be fixed soon.

David however saved my butt after he returned my call when his day was over and pleasantly surprised me that he can squeeze me in the next day. When him and his associate came, they meticulously looked at the potential sources of the problems, clearly explained what their hypothesis were and laid out the (reasonable) costs before moving onto the fixes. They got right to it as soon as I understood what was to be done and how much it'll run me and by late afternoon, both ACs were alive and kicking!

That would've been a happy ending, but by that night, one of the units was blowing warm air. I messaged David and the following morning (Saturday, no less), he came back, diagnosed further, found the additional problem and fixed it right away. He absolutely refused any additional payment even though most techs would've charged hundreds for this on-call, and this really shows the type of character he is and how much pride he takes in his work. He won me over as a lifetime customer and I know that I can lean on his company for solid work and fair pricing - something that I believe isn't always the easiest to find for work like this.

If you're in a bind with your HVAC units like I was, definitely give David's company a call - you'll definitely learn to appreciate them as I do!

Dave is a professional , not many guys go the extent that Dave goes while diagnosing a problem, he takes his time because he wants to do it right all while working to stay on schedule, which a lot of people might not understand but can be extremely hard. He works with the customer and doesn’t leave until himself and they are satisfied with the job that’s been done . I’m the owner of a heating oil company and Dave is the only person I trust working on my customers. I’ve never had a call back on him and if i did get a call it would be one of the customers thanking us for the recommendation. He’s proven himself not only to me but many and you can see it in the quality work he provides.

Called Dave @ Duda because of a broken AC. He was at my house promptly and had me back up and running in 30 minutes. He’s always a pleasure to speak to and genuinely cares about his customers. Would recommend to anyone!

*** UPDATE *** Dave recently installed a ductless mini split dual zone system for me at a very fair price. Dave and his son were awesome - I even picked up a few tips along the way! He fired the system up perfectly and it’s been working great! I highly recommended him for new systems installs too!

David was extremely honest. We called him looking for an estimate to replace our furnace. Upon inspection of our furnace David told us that our furnace did NOT need to be replaced (other companies had told us that it did, as the part needed was no longer made). David replaced a few parts and tuned up the rest for a VERY reasonable price. Thank you for your honesty and efficient service.
