I contacted Chenette Plumbing to do some emergency work while our regular plumber was on vacation. I was quite surprised when Mr. Chenette refused to do work at our property because I had questioned the necessity of COD payment from us, another Quincy company that had been here in the same location and business for 42 years. He was most rude and actually hung up on me - I was most taken aback. Not at all professional.

Shame on me for using this comedian twice. Disorganized, sloppiest plumber ever. Likes to take trips with his helper for parts at my expense. Left water flowing from pipe while at supplier. Didn't like my question, why is this job so expensive ? Tenant upstairs had no water when he left. He did come back to fix it but what an attitude. Complete rip off

These folks have been very helpful for the rental properties I manage. They will contact tenants directly to arrange service times and always do the job right. Bills are reasonable for the high quality service they provide. Great plumbers and great admin staff make my job a lot easier.

Installer of new gas furnace bailed when the furnace kept shutting off... Contacted Chennette Plumbing after friend referred them. Mr. Chennette read the installation manual and fixed the problem... They did other work at house... They are great! Thank you everyone at Chennette. Plumbing!

We have used Chenette since we first purchased our home -- now nearly 20 years ago. They have been to our house during every season, around at least a couple of major holidays, and any other time we have needed them. In every circumstance, they have been responsive, reliable, and courteous. Thank you, Chenette!

There are no words how disgusted I am with this company. I planned on redoing my bathroom starting with a new tub. We went through the whole project. I ordered the tub around January last year. I had to wait months for a special drain because of the shutdown. I finally got the drain and I emailed saying I got it in. Then two more calls after that with zero response. I waited 6 months before trying to find someone else and now I have had a tub for about a year sitting in my living room and no other plumber will touch my job. Absolutely disgusted that a professional would do this. And by the way he knew I wanted a soaker tub because my mom has cancer and I just wanted her to be able to soak after her chemo.

Chennette Plumbing was recommended to me by a local plumbing supply store as being expert in complicated heating systems (in my case, a steam boiler also running a hot water system and indirect water heater). Therese running the office was responsive, and was able to send someone the same day. They know their stuff and fixed a system that had confused another plumber. They worked quickly and charged a very reasonable price. Chennette Plumbing is a company I would gladly work with again.

First of all, they showed up earlier than expected. Which i like. I needed a new water heater installed. The plumber disconnected the old one within minutes. He installed the new one and came across some problems
With the water valves leaking. He fixed the valves and finished the job without any issues. He was professional, courteous and his attention to detail was outstanding. Thank you again. Great job.

Tyler performed plumbing work in my kitchen and he was not only reasonably priced, he also moved things around in his schedule to accommodate mine, enabling us to minimize the time we were unable to utilize our kitchen sink. Based on my experience, I would recommend Chenette Plumbing to others, and plan to hire them again for future projects.

We had been using Chenette Plumbing and Heating services the last 15 years. They have always been reliable.

We call them for problems and regular maintenance of our gas furnace. Five years ago, our furnace malfunctioned. They spent a long time troubleshooting and fixing it, and yet the charge was very reasonable.

Recently we call them to change a very old faucet with a very old plumbing. Plumber Terry did a great job.

Had been using them for many years. However this past week we called them about a water heater issue. When the plumber finally called back it was 5:30 pm. Missed the call we were shopping. When we called back and spoke to the receptionist? She was full of all kinds of attitude. She said to us quote: ‘ well did you have your phone with you? Excuse me lady is your business doing that well that you alienate us and lose out on a $3000 job. You are not the only game in town lady. Going to your closest competition. This place has a bad attitude. Go someplace else.

We’ve been using Chenette for plumbing repairs in Quincy for years. Maybe decades. Great service, and do it right the first time ethos. Will continue with them as needed.

Replaced my water heater. They called to let me know they were on the way and arrived quickly onsite. They did excellent work removing and installing a new water heater, leaving the area clean after. Very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

They did my oil tank removal so quick and clean as it was left from the previous home owners.

Bob, Al, and Mark all came together and quickly and efficiently tuned-up 2 oil furnaces and the accompanying oil tanks.

Bob did the furnaces, changing the nozzles and cleaning them out.

Al drained the oil tanks and changed the filters, squeezing into an impossibly tight and awkward space without complaint.

And Mark helped them both - going out to the truck for parts, holding the flashlight, vacuuming, draining, and emptying the oil buckets.

They are very responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced -- and the team of guys runs like a "well-oiled" machine. 😃
